This place is such a hidden gem. I came here after building up an appetite from longboarding for a few miles. All I have to say is DAYUM. the food is sooooo good. The service was really good. The people here are nice and tell you how it all works. They are also gonna do their best to fill you up if you do the all you can eat option lol. Speaking of which you can either eat and get charged by the weight of your plate or do all you can eat for $30. I reccomend doing the all you can eat. It's more practical and enjoyable. This is our go-to for a yummy Brazilian snack called salgadinhos (sal-ga-gene-yos). They are such a big hit when we bring them to friends' houses that we are often asked to pick up orders of 200+ for them. My husband is Brazilian and while my Portuguese isn't horrible, I request an English speaker every time I call and they've been more than happy to help me in my native tongue . This was my first taste of Brazilian barbecue and I think it was... okay. The restaurant is pretty small and there isn't too large a selection of food, but I'm told that what's offered is authentic. It's buffet style and plates are purchased at $8.50 per pound if you don't get meat from the spit roast, and $10.50 if you do. Out of all the meats, I think I enjoyed the rectangular pork the most. People rave about the chicken heart and oxtail but those, while serviceable, are certainly inferior. The vegetables (what little there was) were pretty much completely unseasoned and tasted like grass. (Sounds gross, but it actually balances out all the meat flavor...) I guess I would come back if I were craving tons of meat, but aside from that I think I just don't enjoy barbecue too much. Solid restaurant with nice people, though! read more

I too love this place - spent my last birthday there with a big group for all you can eat. Love their skirt steak, sirloin, chicken hearts. The salad bar is pretty weak but obviously not the star of the show.. usually stick to fried plantains or flan on the salad bar. It can be annoying to wait a while when it gets busy for more food when going all you can eat, but that's the cost of coming here vs. table-side rodizio. One warning is that if you do go by-the-pound pricing, the pricing tier is pretty strange and I haven't figured it out. From what it appears, the price depends on whether you have salad items on your plate, and what quality of meat you get (top picanha costing more), and day and time of day.... I've found that they do often resalt the meat on subsequent trips up.. not sure if it's a measure to stop us from eating or just the normal cooking method. They have excellent menu items as well such as sandwiches, burgers, smoothies, and desserts. Love their tres leche cake. Food used to be good and price was fair. I used to go there all the time but last few times has been horrible. Prices are always different when I go, I understand they have different prices on the weekends etc. But last time i went they charged $16 a pound for buffet food. I didnt even get their bbq meat. Great food.. Watch out for their delivery scam.. The delivery guy comes to our door and says the order is $35. So my husband gave him $40 and said keep the change. Well the delivery slip said $30 so I called the restaurant and inquired about this and was told that the delivery driver adds on a $5 charge. Yet this never showed on my order slip, so he gets away with a $10 tip,untaxed too? Not right or fair and kind of boarding on fraud. Look at your check carefully. Well, I tried to update this restaurant review and spoke with the manager Maria Peatusia. I was told that they subcontract the delivery's but never given a name to what company they use, nor was it posted on the receipt. But Maria told me the business # was know as #7032760100. I'm contacting the better business bureau tomorrow. Now I called the restaurant and they said they're delivery driver was a subcontractor and gave me a phone number. Yet he said this delivery never occurred. Real good customer service Maria. Now they're blocking my calls. How can this happen after they stole $10 from me? read more

This place is the worst. The food used to be good, and on rare occasions it still is but usually the meat is from the day before and the buffet food is just meh. The place is a mess and looks kind of dirty. They told us the buffet cost $9.00 a pound which is typical for Brazilian food. However, when I asked for our receipt which they do everything possible not to give you, it was $18.00 a pound and there was an extra fee that they couldn't explain. When we came here today one of the waitresses was extremely rude and basically yelled at us for using a wrong spoon for spaghetti (didn't even know that was a thing, but OK). And she was wearing booty shorts? Put some clothes on girl AND A MASK WHILE YOURE AT IT. Also, the person serving the bbq seems like she rather be anywhere but there. Now that I've been here I'm not sure how I could go on without this place in my life. Amazing food in a no frills buffet style Brazilian bbq joint. Sounds weird but it works amazingly. My plate always comes to around $20 I use to travel all the way to iron bound Newark area for some Brazilian, but now I can go right down the road and experience the same great flavor. Ahh, thank you Brazil for your delishly skewered meats gently rubbed with sea salt and nothing but natural goodness. The skirt steak, garlic sirloin, and prime rib are my fav, but every single one of them is amazing! Second: the salad bar. There are always delicious choices here, but the two things I can't miss are the yuca in some kind of meat stew, and the fried plantains. Yum! Third: the service. Everyone is always so friendly and attentive, even though it's a help-yourself-kind of buffet. You can also get a buffet plate to go, just ask the staff. This place is amazing food per money value. The hostess/ waitress took the time to explain all of the food options for carry out. You can do food by the pound or you can buy a sized foil tray and fill the food with 2 sides type of rice and mix of meat (chicken, sausage, and beef)-- this is the option that we got for dinner. It cost $11 on a Sunday night and we got like over 2 lbs of food (she weighed it for us to show us). All of it was delicious- rice, plantains, corn and the grilled meats. Will definitely come again. The best Tres Leche ever! They always run out. We just try the next day until we catch it available. So worth it. Moist, drenched in 3 milks. Not overly sweet. This place ripped me off by weighting the plate (3.8 lb) and charged me $39 for a small portion of food. It was my first time and they didn't even seat us. We ate here last Fri for dinner around 6PM based on the reviews. We were pretty disappointed for the selection of food for the price they charged. The buffet which does not have a large selection was very skimpy and some of the pans were near empty durring the entire time we were there. I had to ask a few times if they were going to bring out more food. The selection of meats from the rodizio is sufficent. The chicken and sauage were very tasty. The skirt steak was well done and the sirloin and corn beef very salty. The meat at the buffet was very tuff. All in all I could not rate this higher than 2 stars and we would most likely not go back. My dad who joined us is still complaining about the food. Bon appetit! read more
