Where do I begin! I came across Lauren on yelp after having done an extensive research on micro-needling for over a year now. I have suffered from acne all my adolescence but now that I'm older I only have breakouts during that time of the month but because of all the acne I had when I was younger I have a lot of craters and acne scars. I had acne most of my life, and as I grew older, most of it turned into deep pitted scars and large pores. Prior to Lauren, I had 3 laser acne scar removal done by a doctor, microneedling (also done by a doctor), and many facials. If you looked up acne scars on Yelp, chances are, I've seen majority of the top businesses that pop up in the OC area. Lauren is different in the fact that she makes you feel comfortable and confident. No one likes hearing about their insecurities and having other people point it out. She made me feel good about my skin the entire time and I was always confident that we were going to get it better! Fast forward to 4 sessions later, my skin has been in the best shape! Lauren's techniques are effective and she knows that she's doing. She does three passes (most only do one pass) and she also does a stamping technique and doesn't drag the needles across your face. Once the skin is stimulated, she uses collagen and hydrogen, then does another session right after to ensure the products are going deep into the skin. The main thing that stands out is her post procedure care. No one really tells you how to make sure your skin is healing properly- you're usually told to just use moisturizer and sunblock and your skin might be red and peel. Not here!
