Giving two stars because the ladies are super nice and personable. They did a great job removing the callus on my feet. When the lady did my pedicure all of a sudden my foot hurt. She removed my NAIL FOLD!!! Which you're not suppose to do and today my big toe hurts and is sore. I'm from out of town and visiting. The lady hurried up because my baby was crying on the phone but shouldn't give an excuse for getting nail polish on my fingers and not having my nails fully covered. I understand nail polish happens but the small parts she saw and removed she cut them off!!! She nicked me a couple times and apologized. Also, it didn't look like they really clean their chairs. Mine was gross. I noticed everyone that was in there are regulars that have came for years and year. Wanted to like this place but for $63 would had expected a little more. read more

Please steer clear of this salon. I asked for solar nails and then gel nails with the white tip were suggested by the nail artist. She rushed through the job, and they looked bulky upon leaving the salon. When I voiced that it did not look like a professional job, she acted as if she couldn't hear me. I have bean coming here for 11 years but the last few months it's bean bad made appointment BUT always get bumped for others walking in the door . Very frustrating to say the least Tam is all ways my first Choice normally does a really good job But in one week I was back 4 times for her to fix my full set of nails 3 broke off in 2 days went back and she had the nerve to charge me. Juma has done a fabulous job! She is gentle, very attentive to detail. Takes the time to do a perfect job with polish and cuticles. Great massage. I was able to walk in on a beautiful Saturday with no wait. Highly recommend. I also hear Lee is a go to as well. read more

The staff are unprofessional and rude. They used dirty towels and there was no barrier in the pedicure tub. And worst of all they claim to use "sterilized" instruments, while there's NO sterilization machine visible and they let the instruments sit in Baricide liquid before use. Everything was substandard. This may be a TMI so read with caution. New to the area and I went in for a Brazilian wax. Horrible. 1. The wax room is very tiny, 2. She cut my hair before waxing. I guess this is not totally abnormal, but she cut me while she was trimming my hair 3. She did not remove all the hair. I don't expect 100% to be gone, but there should not be visible patches left. 4. She left wax on me. I will never visit this salon again not even for nail service. read more

Saturday October 25th had pedicure/manicure and lip waxing Manicurist (Kim) cut out a partial ingrown toenail after I asked her to cut my toenails straight across. Sunday I started having pain and progressively got worse. Thursday October 30th woke up in so much pain; I called in sick and went to the Podiatrists at 9:00 Dr. Harmon had to cut out part of my toenail, big toe on left foot, and then kill the root with chemicals. It was very painful. I called Extravagant Nails at 2:00 and spoke with Tammy. Nothing was resolved, and I have an appointment to speak with Tammy on Saturday 11/1st at 12:00 Saturday, November 1st I met with tammy at 12:00, she took some notes and said that she had to discuss this with her two partners. She called over Kim, the lady who worked on me and she denied ever cutting any of my nails. I told Tammy and Kim that she was lying and that I had asked her to cut them straight across and instead she quickly cut out my toenail from the nail bed. Tammy then promised to give me an answer by Wednesday, a small child came up to me and poked me with her toy "Don't touch me", I said. Tammy then removed the child and walked off to the back room. I did in a loud voice announce, "I will never get services done here again because 4 days following a pedicure I had to have part of my toenail permanently removed". Wednesday, Nov.5th I called Tammy around 6PM and she referred me to her partner, Mr. Lee. I called Mr. Lee around 7PM, he was very polite, but explained to me that they believed Kim and that she was a good employee and was not allowed to cut ingrown toenails. I explained that I have no reason to lie and that Kim may have lied to save her job. Mr. Lee offered me a refund of the money that I paid for services, $42, that is unacceptable to me. Today I filed a complaint with the Maryland Department of Labor and licensing Cosmetology Board and will file a small claims case. Owners did not believe me and told me to file complaints that they had insurance. I requested a refund of the services, missed pay for the day I had my toenail removed and to be reimbursed for my medical bills, owners refused. read more
