I brought my truck in for a tire rotation and it turned out to be far more than that. Ouch. When they got the tires off they found that one of my rear axle seals was bad and had leaked grease into the brake and the bearing got pushed out of places. They brought me back into the bay to show me and it was ugly. Fortunately, thought my life I've had guy friends that have taught me about vehicles which makes it hard for a shop to take advantage of me and they didn't even try. I know enough about what the repair entailed and what it would cost and the price quoted was completely reasonable. When I picked it up Mike gave me the bearing and showed me how it had been burned. I also noticed the brakes were mushy which happens and Mike told me to come back. I did and they fixed me up and sent me safely on my way. I'm taking a loooooong trip in July and it could have gone so horribly wrong so many different ways that I can't even imagine. This is why maintenance is paramount to owning a veicle. I will be a loyal customer and will be spreading the word. I know an honest mechanic! They don't do much diesel work so they recommended a place just down the road and I will be reviewing that shop after my visit there. I'm sure they are every bit as good as Taylor's Tires Plus. I had to pay for all this to be adjusted and was a pretty penny I had to pay. They're in a small vehicle and don't have the right equipment to handle such a job and to put things back as they were. They came that morning about 9:30 and didn't leave until that afternoon about 8:30. Worked in the dark for about 3 hours. This company is good for simple jobs but not important things like adequately performing difficult services.
