**Service Department Review** Imagine moving to a new city and three weeks after the move, hubby's car decides to overheat at red lights and loses its entire mind! Well, that's what happened and of course, being new to town-- we had no clue where to turn and needed immediate help. (Preferably, without being raked across the coals!) Not one, but TWO recommendations from the hubby's office sent us (literally) running into Andrew's arms, and bracing ourselves for a decent report. Just as described, Andrew's took great care of us. Reggie helped us originally and offered great customer care. Andrew's replaced the necessary sensor and a coil of some sort (don't make me talk car parts, I'm not classically trained), graciously offered us a loaner (we couldn't accept and used my car), washed hubs' car, AND quoted us a truly reasonable price (and by reasonable, I mean I didn't get the urge to cry)-- just went above and beyond! Fast forward-- We've now returned 2 times for regular maintenance and checks since our arrival, we've recommended Andrew's to a friend, and the level of service continues to exceed expectations. My last visit to the lot had me strongly considering buying one of their gorgeous cars that I can't afford, but the hubs pulled me away before any real damage was done! Andrew is the best, truly helped us, and now we're in it for the long haul! Also, doesn't hurt that he's a South Alabama supporter. I was heartbroken when my 2015 Toyota Camry was totaled, but I had already been thinking of buying a new car anyway, so I quickly started looking at cars online. Feeling overwhelmed and somewhat lost with all of the different choices and dealers, I turned to my boss of 20 years - one of the most honest and fair people I've ever met - for advice. He IMMEDIATELY told me to go to Andrew's Imports. Not knowing anything about dealerships, I followed his advice, and started looking on their website. I instantly fell in love with a gray Lexus IS 250. I was a little dismayed at first, because I know Lexus is a high-end brand, and I didn't really want to go broke on a vehicle. But then I saw the price listed online, and was astounded that the car was in my price range. After a phone call with Andrew, I felt totally comfortable, as he was friendly (but not overly so - in that fake way that some sales people can be, and I don't say that lightly, because I'm in sales, too!), was super knowledgeable about the car, and he set me up for a test drive that Saturday. Driving the car just made me love it even more. At the dealership, Reggie was amazing! He was super sweet and funny, just felt like he and I had been friends forever, and made me feel even more comfortable. He was able to get all the paperwork and everything arranged really quickly, and always responded to my bazillion texts in a timely manner. The day I went to sign everything, I sat down with Lisa. She was amazing, too! Lisa explained all of the documents before I signed them, and answered every question I had. She was the BEST! I actually enjoyed sitting in her office talking to her. I am not even slightly kidding when I say I would be personal friends with everyone at Andrew's Imports. One thing that may be silly, but definitely gave me the warm fuzzies, was the day I was signing the papers, the office workers had found a stray kitten, and it was wandering the office playing with everyone as they tried to find a home for it. That tells you SO MUCH about what kind of people they are. So now, I'm driving a car I love, that I didn't pay out the nose for, with fond memories of everyone at Andrew's. I will definitely be back when it's time to buy another car, which will probably be soon, as I have three teenagers! I can't state enough how positive this experience was. I was tentative about dealing with car lots, because so many times, you have that sinking feeling that they are scamming you in some way, or trying to screw you over. I bought my 350 GLK from Andrews and during the test drive notice the rumbling underneath. They took the car to be fixed, and i paid to 512. to replace torque converter on the transmission. After about two weeks the rumbling came back. Took it to another reputable transmission shop that's well known with over 10 years of experience and they said that my transmission fluid and filter was the dirtiest he had ever seen and that there was no way that they replaced a torque converter because you would have to drain the transmission fluid and remove the filter to replace the torque converter. Im scheduled to replace it next week. So no, I don't recommend Andrews. read more

I love Andrew's Imports! Everyone at this establishment is honest, kind, and prompt. If they say they will call you back on Tuesday, you will definitely get a call come Tuesday. There is a certain level of transparency offered here that is appreciated and unique to the industry. You can feel good about doing business with Andrew and his staff. I am not rooted here nor do I have any connections in the Mobile area so naturally, there were some reservations. However, after my experience, I can see why people rave about this business. No Service After the Sale. Purchased 2017 Lexus NX200T in 2020. Claimed they put new tires on but supplied no warranty information. After 13,000 miles, two ties completely separated form the belts and the other two were dry rotted. SAFETY HAZARD. When contacted their response was "we are not a tire company and do not stand behind the tires." Offered to have them pay for whatever remaining warranty was supposed to be on the tires and they refused. Spent $715.00 on new tires. Do not buy from them. read more

Short Version: Buy a car here. Longer version: My brother was looking for a very specific car. A white BMW 3 series hardtop convertible with a manual transmission. I had found it at Andrews Imports. It was perfect with only 22K miles and still under factory warranty. The problem. My brother and I are in California and the car was in Mobile Alabama and I wasn't about to fly there to check out a car. I started working with Wes Salyer of Andrews Imports. This guy is top notch and repeatedly reassured me that the car was as described. Wes even did a walk around of the car while he had me on the phone outlining all the minor defects you would expect with a used car. A little ding here a minor scratch there, nothing major. I took a leap of faith with Wes, bought the car and had Wes arrange to have it shipped to California. Crazy right ? Well the car arrived as described in impeccable condition. Don't think you can find an honest and reputable used car dealer? WRONG. Andrews imports has a huge inventory of quality top end cars that must pass their quality requirements. I bought a (dream car) 2017 Corvette from Andrew and had a great experience. When I picked up the car, however, I notice it did not have the Long Tube Headers as promised. I had already taken possession of the car and signed the papers. I called Andrew personally and much to my complete amazement, he bought a header system for me and sent me a check. He did not legally have to do this. The only thing I can say is that there are still some good people out there and I know there are at least 3 of them working at Andrew's Imports. I believe we should not only point out the bad when we come across it, we should also point out the good. Lastly, his office people, Reggie and Lisa, were fantastic. ****BUYER BEWARE**** so sorry I purchased a BMW from andrew's!!! purchased a BMW in January 2015, it's in the shop March 2015. We are having to pay $2,000.00 to have it repaired. We called the guy that sold us the car for assistsnce since we only had it less than 2 months. He(reggie) constantly lied and played games as if he was trying to help us with the repairs. However, he was eager to make the sale, but showed no interest when we told him the car he sold us caugth on fire. **I will never do business with him/them again!!!** Lesson learned, "never purchase a luxry vehicle from a 3rd party dealership"!!! I purchased a Land Rover, an Escalade, a Durango and my current car a BMW 7 series. For me, finding a place to comfortably purchase a used vehicle is very important. Buying a car over the internet is a bit unnerving but Wes and Lisa at Andrew's Imports actually made the process about as pain free as you can get. Wes is always busy but did give straight answers to questions with no BS included. Lisa was great with explaining how all the paperwork goes. They even helped with arranging delivery, which was also inexpensive and easy (though Andrew's Imports has nothing to do with the delivery company, their help in getting it arranged was much appreciated). The car arrived safely and looked exactly like the website photos, including odometer mileage. The internet makes it pretty easy to get an idea of the fair market value of a car. My local dealer just wouldn't come close and the BIG savings of Andrew's Imports made me take the risk of buying a big-ticket item on-line. We bought a 2011 Lexus RX-350 from Andrews Imports and had a great experience all around. After we'd bought the car somehow they lost the second set of keys but gave us a loaner and had a second set made. Then a couple of months later apparently the lost keys turned up and they sent them to us so we now have three sets. Wes set us up for the test drive and we met Andrew himself who could not have been nicer. My husband bought a BMW from here that he found on Auto Trader. We too were looking for a VERY specific car that we'd been searching for the past two months. There was a bit of reluctance to buy a car without ever seeing it in person, but we decided to take a leap of faith and keep a positive mindset. In this day in age it's common practice to blindly buy things online, even high-ticket items like a vehicle. It's a beautiful car just as described and it's been driving perfectly. We got a good price on it even with the extra grand we had to spend to get it shipped out. My husband dealt with Wes Salyer and Kim Bowden. They were always courteous, available to speak on the phone when you called and fairly prompt to respond to e-mails. The total time from start to finish took about 2 weeks to have the vehicle in-hand. A contributing delay stemmed from waiting for the check from our bank and having to mail things to each other back and forth. Kim was expedient in all transactions on their end. I would not say we received above and beyond WOW service, but we were definitely happy with the transaction. I found my dream car at Andrews Imports. The sales staff was unlike any other "used car" dealer I had ever dealt with. They were NEVER pushy or hard sale, instead worked very hard on getting me financed so my dream car could become a reality. The following day after my purchase I began to notice transmission issues with the vehicle and I immediately called my salesman, Reggie Eaton. He was more than willing to check out the situation but because of the holiday weekend we had to wait until early the following week; by this time the problem seemed to correct itself until the following weekend when it became very apparent there was a problem. Although, I purchased the additional warranty; because of the time lapse the warranty company would not cover the cost of a new transmission. Reggie stepped up to the plate and went to bat for me and agreed the dealership would cover the cost of the repairs. What excellent customer service! Through all of the panic on my part Reggie continued to assure me it would be taken care of and it was. The repairs were completed within a week with an additional 12 month warranty on the transmission. I could not have asked for anything more.
