We came on a day trip from Los Angeles to visit the beautiful city of Biloxi. While here, we found this gem of a jewel restaurant. What an awesome place to eat. The Banh Mi sandwich selection is unlike any I've ever seen in LA. Their Lemongrass Banh mi was my favorite (although all 3 we ate were amazing). Loved the hospitality and the owners are so nice! Why is this place so good!!!?? I got the curry sandwich. It has some spice but not too much. I wish they had cut it in half, would have been easier to eat. Definitely one of the best bakeries on the coast! Amazing pastries, and they're so cheap for the quality of what you're getting! Every time I've gone I've been greeted with a smile and welcoming into the store. The workers are always so helpful and very descriptive when telling you what everything is. Don't blink or you will miss this place. I was meeting up a friend for lunch and we weren't sure where to go. We stumbled on this scrolling through yelp. We thought why not... This place is small but packs a lot of delicious bread smell! The giant loafs of breads are cheap and amazingly fresh! We missed out on the Jalepeno bread but were able to pre-order the Asiago bread to pick up at 10 am. If you want a specific bread...order ahead! Don't take that chance. I also got the Che Xuong Xa Hot Lu. It reminds me of home! Its exactly the flavors its suppose to be and the red hot lu has the crunch that its suppose to have. I would probably cut the sweetness down just a tad cause i'm not use to eating this as much anymore. The banh mi was amazing! I got the XaXiu/ Xiu Mai. I added pate and opted out the sauce. It was sooo flavorful and stuffed full of meat! I can't believe how much meat was in it! I wish i could have taken a pic but I ate this the next day at work so it wouldn't be a good representation of its arrival to my hands. So many delicious things to choose from here. The tofu banh mi can be made vegan by omitting the mayo. The coconut yuca pie is vegan and it's absolutely delicious. Not too sweet and the texture is incredible. There is usually a line at breakfast and one at lunch time. Plan ahead so you have time to wait, just in case. It's worth the wait though. They make their own bread for the poboys and banh mi. It's fantastic. They also have a pretty big selection of pastries. They're all in a case right at the front and they look great, though only the one is vegan. They're happy to tell you ingredients if you ask. There's one table up front for seating and several more further back. They also have hot sauces on squeeze bottles if you are dining in. read more

Came in today for an Avocado bubble tea and some pastries. I also picked up steamed rice cakes. Will definitely come back for a Bahn Mi. They also have Asian sweets/ snacks like rice cake filled with mung bean, steamed rice with banana or bean. Oh, and Sao Pao. Asian drinks in the cooler as well. Love this place! It is a banh mi, poboy mixed sandwich shop and bakery. I believe that it's basically just banh mi, they add mayo to the sandwich which I guess makes it poboy? I'm not really sure how this is a poboy mix into the sandwich. I got the lemongrass pork banh mi and the coconut curry chicken banh mi. You couldn't really taste the coconut it was mainly just curry. The bread was GREAT, soft yet crunchy and the meat didn't make the bread soggy or anything. The sandwich held up pretty well. Both sandwiches were $4.75. I also got the milk tea bobba which was great! It wasn't too sweet it was perfect. Which the bobbas are $3.75. The staffs are SUPER nice and friendly, they gave us so many advice and recommendations about the town and where to go. First time here while in the area on a business trip.. I visited this establishment on 24 Jan 18 off of the Yelp reviews.. This place is legit!!! I have to give a shout out to the daughter of the Le Bakery establishment! She was so nice and helpful... She took the time to explain the menu and she gave me some suggestions on what to get and what to add to the sandwich (sauce wise) etc.. Salute! I elected to get the coconut curry chicken Po Boy which was legit!! Veggies were fresh and crispy and the chicken had great flavor, and the price was very reasonable! The bread is made in house daily and very soft, warm, and had a slight crunch.. To put it simply the bread/sandwich was delicious!! I also got 3 turnovers.. Apple, Guava cream cheese, and strawberry.. Man!! These jawns were flaky and full of filling, fresh, and again the price was very reasonable! To drink, I choose the Vietnamese iced coffee which was made with condensed milk.. Coffee was nice and strong and slightly sweet.. It reminded me of a cold version of a Cafe Con Leche I use to drink while growing up in Key West... Yes sirrr! My whole experience here was fantastic! We visited last week and the Croissants were amazing, and the danishes and the turnovers but the King Cakes and Praline pecan rolls were over the top. I have been buying king cakes for years but the cream cheese and the Sue Moas were absolutley to die for. My husband who loves sweets but never thinks anything is over the top had to confess the pecan rolls were the best ever. I will be heading back next month. The bread and customer service at Le Bakery was good. However, Yelp ratings are a lot higher than I experienced them to be. I ordered 4 banh mis (curry chicken, special cold cuts, chicken roti and meat ball). All meats were bland and the pickled carrots/daikon were extremely sour, lacking a sugar balance to complete the different flavor burst of a true authentic banh mi. I went during lunch and made a run for all of my coworkers. I had the pork banh mi, and it was ok. It was a good portion and the typical price I expect to pay for banh mi. It was not as flavorful as I hoped but it did have the expected fresh tasting vegetables including my favorite cilantro. All five of my coworkers have the same ok response and they had ordered a variety of pork and chicken banh mi. I also got a variety of turnovers and everybody loved them. The standout by far was the chocolate. The guava cream cheese was also one of my favorite. All in all will probably be back but just won't go out of my way for it. read more

I have been coming here over the years, and I have not been disappointed during any visit. I have tried many of their boba teas including mango, strawberry, peach, cappuccino, etc, and none of them disappoint. You can tell that the fruit smoothies are made from real fruit as there's a lack of that artificial sweet taste. The bánh mì is also to die for, and if it can impress my Vietnamese family, then it will impress you. There's also a small selection of different chè available if you're looking for that. The owners and everyone at the shop are incredibly sweet and offer great customer service. This place is a gem to the Mississippi gulf coast, and I hope it stays! read more

I love Le Bakery!! I have been here many times when my sister lived in Biloxi for 6 yrs. They have flavored loaves of bread (the jalapeno cheddar is wonderful), bubble teas, vietnamese po-boys (lemongrass pork po-boy is my fave), pastries (it's a bakery duh), filled croissants (get the smoked turkey and cheese croissant), baklava and more. They will also create the perfect cake for you whether if it's for a birthday or your wedding. They made us a cake for my nephew's birthday back in 2009 and it was amazing!! I grew up on these types of Vietnamese sandwiches, so when I moved to Biloxi, I had an implicit desire to avoid eating here at all costs. I would come in and buy other things - chips, drinks, baked goods, coffee - but I was never compelled to buy a sandwich. My coworkers however, apparently love the place, and would often suggest this place for group lunches. I could only decline so many times, so eventually came in to eat here. I was very pleasantly surprised. The Vietnamese sandwiches here (banh mi) are extremely good, on par with and arguably even better than Vietnamese sandwiches you might find in say Houston or California. I actually couldn't believe it. There's a little something extra they add that just makes the sandwich so flavorful. I'd give the place five stars except that the layout is a bit awkward so it's not the best place to sit and have your meal, especially with a group. Also, this is a family run business - a mother and her daughters. The mother is a sweetheart and one of the daughters is quite pleasant. It is obvious though that the other daughter feels she has better things to do with her time, and so is quite short with customers. Although she's never been short to me, I don't appreciate seeing her snark directed at others. Overall though, this place is a Biloxi institution. read more
