LeBakery and LeCafe! I've always known this place was here but I want to say that they only recently expanded out into having a cafe attached to the bakery. Maria hit me up for some coffee once I was back from Colorado and suggested we stop in here for caffeine and maybe some baked goodies. The coffee menu here is small so don't expect a full-fledged menu to order something fancy. I settled on a brown sugar cinnamon iced coffee. While ordering it, the barista asked if I wanted it as a cold brew and I said yes. But once I got my coffee and started sipping on it, I knew it wasn't an actual cold brew and it was just an iced coffee. While not a big deal, I wasn't a big fan of the drink as a whole. Somehow a cold version of brown sugar cinnamon just isn't that good, in my opinion. Maria got a drink, too, and agreed. She let me try her drink and I found it even less favorable than mine. While sitting there and catching up on the last few weeks, I got a snickerdoodle cookie to snack on since I didn't eat breakfast. For where the coffee was lacking the cookie more than made up for it. The snickerdoodle was soft and chewy and tasted just right. For as big as it was, I could've gone for another one, easily. At about $2 a piece, it's worth every penny. Maria got a quiche breakfast meal and some cinnamon bread while we were there. She said the meal was pretty tasty but didn't realize she ordered a meal instead of just a piece of quiche. The bakery, cafe, and staff are all very nice. Everything seems freshly painted and the general vibe was nice and clean. Its a bummer the coffee was lackluster but that may have just been the combination that we ordered. I would be willing to give it another shot should we come back (which is likely since Maria mentioned visiting again).

    Custom cake for birthday celebration

LeBakery is truly awesome. As far as cakes go, whatever your mind imagines this bakery should be your first stop for they may be able to make it happen. Once inside, not only do you want to check out the cakes but also check out the menu for their pastries, breads, pies, cookies, and more. This bakery has a warm, and inviting atmosphere . The display of the baked items makes you want to purchase everything you see. We ordered a custom cake for our mother's 80th birthday celebration. The cake was a beautiful work of art. As the younger people say it was fire. The cake was moist, and the balance of sweetness was just right. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my experience all the more enjoyable. I highly recommend Le Bakery to anyone looking for a custom cake in Peoria.

The cherry and apple danish were amazing. The ham and cheese quiche came out with a bowl of potatoes that were just wow. (The rosemary was Poppin) The coffee was great -- overall good experience.

My daughters christening was today, and Le Bakery gave us the perfect personalized touches for her day. Here are the inspiration photos and finished and delivered product. We are so impressed, and not only were they beautiful they were delicious! They use butter cream frosting instead of royal icing, and while it's not the same, we definitely feel they were tastier. We'd give 10 stars if we could!

I called Le Bakery asking for this cake and just was amazed with the detail on the finished product and the steady hand for the cursive! Exactly what I wanted it was so well done loved it!! I had wanted chocolate candy inside and they listened and was so appreciative of that! This was a gender reveal piñatas cake! Thank you Le Bakery!!!!

They could have done better for the price. Taste of cake was good and frosting was delicious. I asked for a plain white scraped look and there was a spot that was not iced enough or possibly scraped too much so the cake itself was visible. It's just a cake and after adding my flowers and topper, it looked pretty; however, when you pay $400 for a cake, you are paying for it to be perfect in my opinion. Overall, the lady was really nice and they delivered on time, so I can't complain too much. Join

They also have stolen hyvees bread recipe! Lol they are ex workers there and we're nightmare employees when they stole product and recipes from a National chain! Huber should really look into this matter and take them to court!

Bucky even brought out two glasses of Sauternes to help celebrate the occasion and made my GF's heart melt. every staff that touched the table was so nice and personable. thanks again for the amazing night!! couldn't of been better!!!

Quickly, our server came by & got us started on some drinks. I had the oat milk draft latte (which I've ordered to go multiple times) & it remains my favorite drink in Peoria! We got the maple breakfast sandwich with bacon added & it was the perfect amount of crispy & flavorful. We got two bakery items to share which were also yummy! The best thing we got was the potatoes with the harissa sauce - OBSESSED. They were beautiful & the dill was a great touch. Loved our meal & service! Will be back of course!! I was a little confused when first arriving opening the door to a number of bakers racks in the middle of the floor - it felt like you were entering the 'back door'. There was also a slightly unsettling 'alarm' that rang as the door was opened, not your typical 'ding dong' of a shop door. I picked up 5 pieces of tres leches cake - $4 a piece... a definite value! The gentleman behind the counter diligently and carefully packed each dripping moist piece of cake into its own to go box. Go to Schnucks for donuts at half the price and tastier. Please read the entire review for details. ==== HOURS: I wanted to try their donuts, and I've dropped by twice before my actual visit at about 11 - 12 PM, only to find the place closed. I wondered if the company had closed permanently. ==== SERVICE: The absolute worst part of my experience here. I walked in yesterday, Friday 08/22/2026, and two older ladies were behind the counter. They failed to greet me, not even a "Good morning" as the rest of the entire country does reflexively when they see another person. The two continued talking to each other as if I didn't exist. Once I was at the counter, this was the conversation as close as I can recall it: Me: "Morning!" Clerk 1, as if annoyed by my presence: "What do you need?" Me: "I want a dozen donuts. I don't care which ones, as long as they have no nuts or coconut." Clerk 1 nods, then continues their conversation with the other employee as if I wasn't there. Me, interrupting them: "You know, I tried coming here two other times, and y'all were closed. Do you people close shop after you are sold out?" Clerk 2, dryly: "No. We never close early. We close at 2 PM." Me, frowning because of the blatant lie: "Right." Clerk 1: "Do you want a Maple Donut?" Me: "Sure, I don't care. Say, your (ordering) website says that first-time customers get $5 off a $20 purchase." Clerk 2: "You have to order online." Me: "Oh. I can place it and pay online." Clerk 2, annoyed: "No. You can't place the order today. You can only place it tomorrow." (NOTE: Their website restriction only says: "This offer is only available to first-time guests." This says nothing about having to place the order for another day. So they lied.) Me, skeptical and slightly annoyed: "Okay... Hmm... do I want a bacon maple donut... How much is it?" Clerk 1: "$3.50." Me, pondering for a moment: "No, I'll pass. I got plenty of donuts." Then we proceeded to complete the transaction to avoid any further conversation with them, and I left with a sour taste in my mouth from that interaction. This is not the way to treat any customer, especially a first-time customer! My average donut shop experience is that I'm met by a clerk with a sunny attitude and a desire to help customers (whether genuine or to get tips). These two old bats really need a stern talking-to by management or, if they're the owners, this bakery does not deserve anyone's business. ==== FOOD: Overrated, mid-quality donuts. If you go to buy a novelty product claiming to be made of potatoes, you would at least expect it to have a trace of potato flavor. If I were to give it a generous review, I would say it tastes like an average donut. Granted, the donuts are huge, but so is their price. Since I'm not here to sugarcoat this bakery, these donuts are extremely sweet, to the point that they overpower everything else. If I wanted to taste sugar, I'd eat a heaping mouthful of sugar! You can't taste anything else of the donut, not even the oil it's cooked in, and that's saying something! These donuts also grow stale very fast. I had a leftover donut this morning, properly stored, and it tasted like it had been left out in the open for a couple of days. ==== ATMOSPHERE: Uninteresting. A few tables and chairs are scattered about, but it has no sense of decor. It has a bus station diner vibe. ==== CONCLUSION: This bakery lacks decor and a homey feel, offers overhyped donuts that taste only of sugar, and is staffed by two unpleasant, bitter hags. Consider going elsewhere!
