Had a boxed lunch. I ordered the California Cobb sandwich on honey wheat bread. (Fresh avocado, smoked turkey breast, crispy bacon, and bleu cheese spread with thin sliced red onion, romaine lettuce, sliced tomato, salt and pepper.) very disappointed in this product. it lacked a consistent garlic flavor, scare jalapeño and a meniscal amount of cheese wasn't worth the $8.50 . don't feel it has the artisan flare that was mentioned during the sale process. was t offered a sample, but if i was, i wouldn't of purchased. the cinnamon muffin however, was phenomenal. excellent through and through and would highly recommend. thank you for your time read more

This little restaurant and bakery has come a long way! I went when it first opened and was not super impressed, but I had a great experience when visiting several weeks ago. The sandwich I had was delicious, and many of the other menu options sounded good as well. let me start by saying that the staff was very nice and the food was great, however, I had an incident that really shook me up. There was a girl mopping near the door, kind of just pushing the mop around, not much water, or rinsing, and without first cleaning the tables. when we were done eating, I went to take our trash to the can and place the plates on the bin, and boom, there I go. There was no wet floor sign, and the floor didn't even seem wet. I was wearing slip resistant shoes, that have made it through icy terrain, but when my right foot hit that floor, it slipped from right under me, making me land on my back and my head bouncing off the floor. I did not break anything, just a little sore, but I think it could have been worse and the employee mopping needs to be trained for the safety of customers. my guess is the Mop was oily and the oils just spread around, or maybe it was wet. Service was great, friendly and helpful. The owner, Craig, recommended the chicken salad and I'm so glad he did! Awesome! I would highly recommend! Literally one of the best bakeries I've ever been to. Awesome friendly staff, great product, and just a love for bread makes this place fantastic. I go every week for asiago pesto bread. It's the best in my opinion and well worth the price tag and drive in. They offer samples of all their products which lets you explore new things without having to buy a whole loaf or muffin of whatever. Just so good I can't say enough good things about this place and its just a fun trip. read more

Great Harvest is a great (!) place to buy bread, baked goods, granola, coffee drinks, etc. My favorite of their breads is the cinnamon chip. My favorite of their baked good is their pumpkin bars (awesome). They seem to be fairly on the healthy side as well, which is nice. This is an excellent bakery! The bread is really well made and has always been thoroughly enjoyed at my house. They have fairly good hours but I wish they were open a bit longer, especially on Saturday. There are sandwiches available and the food I have eaten here has always been hearty and tasty with the sense it is more healthy style fair. They don't serve Coke products, so that's a negative for me. Chia bars are the best!!! I really can't find much to complain about, staff is friendly and often offers samples when you are standing in line. My sandwich was good although a little spicier than I expected. The accompanying pickle was a complete fail. I know that sounds silly but when you're a big fan of good pickles, it was a disappointment. It tasted like a cheap off-brand grocery store pickle; soft and bland. Also, it appeared as if this was the last pickle in the jar; thin and mostly peel. I bought the chipotle avocado bacon grilled cheese today, the sandwich of the month. On paper it sounded good but in reality not so much. The menu read "slices of avocado", which lead me to believe I would get fresh avocado on my sandwich. It came with a slice of tomato, a slice of red onion, bacon and avocado. I was disappointed to find they use packaged guacamole. When I commented that I thought I was getting fresh avocado according to the menu, he stated well it is fresh guacamole, I just opened it today. I responded that it's not fresh if it's full of preservatives! And I suggested that he change his menu to reflect the true ingredients. The bacon was some sort of pre-cooked, packaged, limp bacon that wasn't very good either. At least the tomato and onion were fresh. The bread was day old, which wasn't too bad since it was grilled in the panini press. The sandwich was just OK. Nothing I'd order again. read more

I have always liked the products that Great Harvest offers, but the staff makes me never want to go back there again. Many of the young people act as though it is an imposition to wait on you. I went into this bakery and they were so friendly-immediately asked my kids if they wanted to try something-very homey feeling. It's part of a chain, but that does not bother me. My favorite item here is the "Dillon Cookies". It is a chocolate chip, oatmeal, walnut cookie that you think is healthy because it comes from Great Harvest. I don't care if it is healthy or not, I love them. The staff here is exceedingly friendly so you could stop here just to cheer yourself up even if you don't want any bread. I have enjoyed all the breads I have tried here. read more

Food was okay, service was horrible. We standing there for about 10 minutes waiting to order, then we were completely ignored by the cashier and by another girl who walked up to us at the register and immediately turned away, then we stood there for another 5 -10 minutes before the lady running the cash register had a girl from the back come up and complete our order and she acted like we weren't even worth her time, so not going back. Don't have time to be ignored or disrespected, I would understand if they were super busy but we were one of the two couples there. It's a bread/ sandwich shop not a 5 star restaurant so people need to get their act together. read more

This bread is addictive its so good. They mill their own wheat in the store which is pretty cool and you get free samples of whatever they have that day every time you come in. The breads are creative, I love the cheddar garlic bread. Everyone is always happy and in a good mood here so its an enjoyable place to visit. I had never tried Great Harvest before and I was looking for a more authentic alternative to grocery store bakeries yet less expensive than Panera or Ardour. Mistake. Could not find descriptions for their creatively named breads anywhere so I asked the clerk when I walked in . She proceeded to grab a loaf of the bread I asked about and started reading from the ingredient list. Huh?? I told her never mind, I'll take a loaf. Then asked for 2 scones. Didn't pay attention as she was packing them as I was organizing my payment. Got out to my car and took a look at the orange cranberry scones that I couldn't wait to get home and warm up and was totally dumbfounded. I could barely see them in the clear plastic container because they were DROWNING in some sort of icing. I mean the kind of icing that people slather on cinnamon rolls. That's what they did to these poor scones! I couldn't believe it. I've been eating scones in various places for years, some good, some bad, but never like this. I got home and stuck them in the freezer. I'll have to find someone who likes pure sugar icing to regift them too. What a total disappointment. The 5 grain bread is fine. But not making a trip back there anytime soon. read more

"Drive Through Now Open!" that sign is the whole reason I swung by here on a Saturday because I was very hungry but also unwilling to get out of my car. There is a window with a basic menu of just sandwich names listed with pricing. I randomly chose the California Cobb because anything with bacon won't be terrible. I also got an iced latte. It was a very short wait to what was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life. First, the bread: I was expecting a normal wheat bread but got the tastiest blend of chewy and crunchy and flavorful and moist that has ever been called bread. I have literally never had bread this good. Both the lettuce and tomato were bursting with flavor and the deli turkey was thick sliced and real turkey, not formed and pressed junk. One side of the amazing bread was spread with avocado and the other with a blue cheese spread that was seriously out of this world and I don't even like blue cheese. The bacon was also delish with a satisfying crunch. I seriously contemplated going back for another one as soon as I finished one half but I held back. The latte was perfectly made with a hefty amount of espresso that had a deliciously smooth taste. This place is the perfect alternative to fast food!!!! read more
