A flight delay ended up extending my trip from Boston to Orlando one additional night. I stopped into Le Cafe De Paris this morning before my flight. My boyfriend and I were less than thrilled to be stuck flying back home midday on Easter. We were looking for somewhere to get breakfast/lunch before the airport and came upon the excellent reviews for Le Cafe De Paris and I am so happy that we stopped in! First off, the cafe itself is absolutely adorable. I love the outdoor seating and the clean, cozy interior. There is something so charming about the cafe which I instantly loved. Now to the food - I ordered a lemon crepe with strawberry & banana and my boyfriend ordered the turkey sandwich. We also enjoyed an almond croissant which was absolutely decadent! All of the food was nicely displayed and tasted amazing! The service was also excellent and the staff was incredibly friendly. We have family in the area and will definitely be back here the next time we visit! We only wish we had found this cafe even sooner! :) read more

We absolutely loved the food and the pastries. There is plenty of outdoor seating and some cozier indoor seating. There is no wait staff service. You stand usually in a long line, order your food, all of it including dessert, pay and then the food is brought to you. The coffee is strong and there are some alternative options too. Great experience here! This is a French family owned cafe with interior and extrior seating that's nice and cozy. The cafe is somewhat small but we got there at 9am on a Saturday and did not have to wait for a seat. I had an spinach and egg quiche and it was enjoyable! They have many breakfast selections and baked goods. The design and flow of the cafe is a little tight and narrow to get around but other than that, I have no complaints! The owners served us personally and were very attentive. The pricing for the quiche was about $6 so not bad at all either for a big slice! read more

Read through the reviews and decided to give this a try since we have no French restaurants where we live. So glad we did, the staff was very helpful on our selections and even down to telling us the amount of food we would receive. We chose the Spinach & Goat Cheese Quiche, the lemon crepe with strawberries and bananas, and a Bacon & Egg breakfast sandwich on a Croissant. All were incredibly tasty and just right for two people. Love this place! This is in a plaza at the end and they have a decent amount of parking space which is nice. The service is helpful and friendly. My friend and I ordered the chocolate croissant, almond croissant, and 2 coffees and both were yummy! They have indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. A little hidden gem in Orlando. We stopped by before hitting the road back home and we had our dogs with us. Our server was very accommodating and very attentive to us and our dogs' needs. He brought them a bowl of water and pupaccinos. We had the quiche Lorraine- it was so delicious we had to order a 2nd one! The waffle with banana was very tasty as well. This cute little café is seriously stuffed in a small space right between Metro PCS and some sushi place in a strip mall but with cute little café tables and chairs setup outside, you won't miss it. :) When I arrived, I let the gentleman (Claude was his name) know that this was my first time. He was so sweet and friendly! He showed me the quiches and soup of the day and handed me a menu if sandwiches were more my thing. The whole café had a cozy feel but I chose to sit outside since this was one of those rare Orlando days where the temp wasn't too hot or humid. Something about sitting outside, sipping on your coffee and enjoying your surroundings. The Croque Madame was served with a side salad of romaine lettuce, fresh corn, green beans, tomatoes and cucumbers lightly dressed with oil. I used some of the balsamic vinegar/oil blend on my table to drizzle over the top and it was so good. Fresh, crisp and clean on the palate. The Croque Madame itself was well prepared! The texture was exactly what I was looking for. A light crunch on the outside, gooey cheese and ham on the inside, with a sunny side up egg on top. I opted to get some homemade gelato for dessert. (Yes, that's right...homemade gelato!) I ordered the lemon gelato giving my meal a nice ending. I took some almond croissants home with me....I couldn't resist. Le Cafe de Paris is a delight. It's owners, Claude and Chantal, staff the cafe on a daily basis and they make all of their guests feel like regulars. They offer a very basic breakfast menu, several excellent sandwiches, along with soups and salads for lunch, wonderfully prepared coffees and numerous gelatos that are made on the premises. I have enjoyed many a coffee and espresso beverage at Le Cafe de Paris and those alone would be more than enough incentive for many return visits. The coffees are dark without being bitter, rich without being to heavy. On my most recent visit, I enjoyed the Vegetarian sandwich while my companion indulged in a Fleury's sandwich. Both were served on French bread that I have been told is flown in from Paris on a daily basis. Whether Paris or Orlando, the bread is crusty, flavorful and perfectly textured. My Vegetarian sandwich featured tomatoe, fress mozzarella, basil and olive oil. All of the ingredients were remarkably fresh and the sandwich was devoured instantly. My companion thoroughly enjoyed his Fleury's sandwich, which features Italian dry sausage, butter and pickles. The sausage was wonderfully aged and the pickles provided an excellent counterpoint. For dessert, I enjoyed a cappucino gelato, while my friend passed on dessert. The gelato was rich and creamy and a wonderfully refreshing dessert option. Although the gelato is not quite as delightful as the gelato's offered at Penguin's Paradise, which I ralso recently reviewed, the gelato at Le Cafe de Paris remains an excellent way to end a meal or to cool off on a hot afternoon. Claude and Chantal are excellent hosts and never rush patrons. The cafe has four indoor tables and six outdoor tables and many a diner has lingered for hours sipping coffee and reading. This little hidden gem of a cafe is such a find! It is a quaint spot inside the marketplace at the corner of Dr. Phillips Blvd and Conroy Rd owned by a French couple. Everything we tried was delicious, from the quiche Lorraine and quiche florentine to the pain au chocolat and the coffee and latte. The staff is insanely friendly and in no way rushes their patrons. They'll even humor you if you want to practice your French a bit :) The only reason I gave this four stars instead of five is that the spinach quiche was VERY salty. read more

We decided to order croque monsieur one regular one substitute with turkey as the meat. The sandwich accompanies a soup or salad we opted with the mushroom Brie soup. We ordered dessert as we wanted to try the Nutella crepe with strawberries. To drink I ordered latte with mocha. It was beautiful out so we sat outside. The weather last weekend for brunch was just perfect, so we went gallivanting in the Doctor Phillips area. Considered going to the Peach Valley Cafe, but ended up passing it and ran into this little place. Small queue, lots of happy people sitting inside and outside eating their tasty-looking food... Had a French name... I'm in! They have some signature French brunch items--you could get a quiche, a croque, or pastries--so we decided YES. All three, please! Had the most amazing croque madame sandwich with a fried egg on top. The egg was perfectly cooked and oozed down the side of the sandwich, coating everything in its velvet lusciousness. The gruyere was a fine touch as was the good quality ham inside. It came with a side salad with juicy tomatoes, green beans, corn & cucumbers with a very light and tasty balsamic vinaigrette. Basic, but good! Also decided to get one of their daily quiches, it had goat cheese and spinach inside and was quite delicious. My only gripe--and I only mention this because I know a good fraisaged dough when I see one... the crust was soggy and dense without much flakiness. If I could give one bit of advice to them--find a better dough recipe because your fillings were ON POINT. Oh yeah, we also got un croissant aux amandes... The croissant was flaky without being greasy and the frangipane (almond cream) inside was just perfectly done. The croque monsieur was fine but at a French restaurant I am hoping it will be better than fine, it was not made with a traditional bechamel sauce (or at least if they are supposed to be mine was omitted.) the was nothing wrong with it but it just tasted like an open face ham and cheeses. I will say the wedding soup was quite good! Also I think restaurant should let you know when their soft drinks are from a can, I don't drink canned soft drinks just fountain preferably or bottled at home. Staff was nice. read more

They have indoor and outdoor seating and the ambiance is that of an outdoor cafe in Paris with colorfully detailed murals and Parisian knick knacks. You place your order at the counter and then it is shortly brought out to you at the table of your choosing. During my first visit at Le Cafe de Paris, I ordered the Croque Madame (fancy schmancy grilled cheese and ham sandwich with an egg on top) with a side French salad. Sadly, I wasn't given my French salad, but rather a plain garden salad that was average - nothing special. My sandwich on the other hand, was uber yummy. I felt that a sandwich of this caliber had to be eaten with a fork and knife (plus, it would've been too messy with the over easy egg on top). It was savory and the perfect texture booming with flavor. I wanted something sweet, so I went back up to the counter to order dessert - a Nutella crepe with fresh strawberries. Yum - I'm drooling just typing the words "Nutella crepe!" Like everything at Le Cafe de Paris, the crepe is freshly made and they do not hold back on the Nutella - so sticky sweet and the fresh strawberries add a bit of acid that cuts through the sweet, sweet Nutella. Ordered a glass of red, Bordeaux I think, the menu didn't quite say, and the Pros sandwich. It's a beautiful pressed panini of Fresh Mozzarella, Pesto, Proscuitto, georgously ripe Tomatoes, with some Basil and Olive Oil. Phenominal! Even the Balsamic and Olive oil used on my complimentary salad was exquisite and rich in flavor unlike the majority found in our grocery stores. I really can't tell you how tasty my panini is, all the flavors distinct yet contributing to the overall gastronimical crescendo of delisciousness casading and bathing on my tastebuds. I'm in love and have now forgotten what tasks I was to set upon. My plate is clean, and I'd lick it if I thought no one was looking, there's a smile on my face, and I still have a half glass of red infront of me. I'm beyond content. Honestly, I didn't like this place at all, but according to all the reviews, their food must be good. So I feel that maybe we're just not accustomed to this type of food? I ordered the croque madame. I didn't like it at all and couldn't eat it. I asked for no tomatoes, but there were tomatoes. The bottom slice of bread was so soggy, it was just mush. And I felt that the flavors of the cheese, meat, egg and bread didn't mix well at all. But my boyfriend tried it and said it was okay. He ordered the cuban sandwich, which he also said was okay. I ate some of his sandwich, but even then I thought it was an average sandwich. On their website they advertise premium coffee, but honestly I thought it was sort of bland and nothing really special. What a quaint cafe! It's a nice open space with plenty of outdoor seating. I stopped by here for a late Saturday lunch. Since it was my first time I wasn't sure if you were to sit and order or order at the register. I just went to the register since all the serving employees were busy with other patrons. I ordered the croque monsieur and salmon quiche. Once we ordered; we were told to sit and wait to be served. That we did, and our food came out pretty quickly thereafter. Our entrees came with a nice side salad with a simple dressing. After we finished, we went back to the register to pay. We enjoyed our food here, but the service needed to be more efficient or streamlined. The young gentlemen that took our order didn't relay our drinks to their designated barista nor did he remember our side order of a croissant. When we were done eating, we even asked him to grab us the croissant to go. He smiled, nodded, and forgot about it again. Bless his forgetful soul! Stopped in here for lunch today thanks to all the Yelp'ers comments regarding it. It is a really small place in a shopping center and I thought I would miss it. Glad I didn't! I ordered the croquet madame (that's the one with the egg, I think). I wasn't expecting the yolk to be as runny as it was, but it definitely helped with eating the sandwich later on. While I wasn't a big fan of the sandwich as a whole, I definitely feel that I need to go back and order something else. It was very busy when I went today (a little after 12:30). This is a nice place to come maybe before the mall for lunch or after for dinner. All there food is very good. The crepes are delicious but you must try the coffee. The owner makes the roast himself. There was once a French cafe right inside champions gate that was delightful but poorly placed and is now closed, I've been searching for somewhere to replace it since and this is it. I had the Croque Madame because I love eggs on everything. It was so, so good. It was a perfect balance of salty ham and creamy swill cheese toasted between to soft pieces of bread topped with a perfectly fried sunny side up that spilled over the side of my sandwich. I loved every singly last bite. The Nutella crepe that I had for dessert wasn't skimping on Nutella at all like most places do, it was decadent and fairly priced like everything else. It seemed rather basic. Something I could make at home. A glorified grilled cheese with ham inside and a fried egg on top. The bread seemed like normal store bought sliced bread and the meat seemed to be the presliced ham you find at any grocer. Their crepe could have been better had they not put the chocolate syrup on it and simply let the nutella on the inside speak for itself. I was disappointed with the food, but love the atmosphere. Had breakfast here on a Monday morning, food was amazing, I had a perfectly made cafe latte and a savory crepe with goat cheese, prosciutto, mushroom, and spinach. The crepe was light and the filling was generous. My husband had fresh squeezed orange juice that he was impressed with (he's native Floridian) and an omelet with french onion soup, both of which were devoured. The bread that came with his soup was a true french baguette, crusty on the outside and dense and chewy on the inside. Great spot for breakfast or brunch, food is made fresh and the staff is friendly and attentive. You have to order at the counter and they bring it to your table. That confused me at first and when no one came to the table, I got up and went to the counter. They should post a sign or something. I had the croque madame. It came with a salad that was just as tasty. Food is simple but flavorful! I also ordered chocolate croissants to go. They ended up tasting old.
