This is a local bar/restaurant in town. Everyone is friendly and it's a spot where everyone knows each other. The bartender was super friendly, we didn't get food but will come back to try something new. Only reason I'm giving a 4 is due to the parking situation and since i'm a beer guy, so wish they had some on tap which isn't a problem, just a preference. read more

Definitely a nice neighborhood bar/restaurant. Exactly what I expected when i walked in, staff smiled and greeted me as i walked in. I felt comfortable walking in here alone as im not from the area. I ordered the skirt steak medium rare and it was exactly as I wanted it. I was very pleased with the flavor, seasoning, and temperature of my steak and the amount of steak i got. I came here because it was cold and I needed OUT of the house. I arrived with a warm welcome and hello. The bartender was so friendly and nice. He told me almost everything about the great things on the menu and what to eat and if your hungry what to get! That's amazing. Then he made me a tasty drink out of a vodka, because I don't really like much of anything else. It was very delicious. He clearly knew what he was doing . The atmosphere is welcoming. Their are tall tables, bar, and tables for eating at which is great. I enjoyed my evening here, the staff was sooo friendly even the owner was there. Can't wait to return. There was a time when this bar had NYC prices so I stopped going for a while. It's literally a local corner bar so I found it hard to spend a lot on a drink.... but they've gotten reasonable over the past few years and made it more affordable. There is a DJ on weekends and a very small back room where you can dance. There are a few high tables in the front and the bar has standard seats. Overall it's a laid back neighborhood bar. Came here from California and this place is amazing starting with the owners, staff, customers is very well mix crowed . The music during the nighttime is a variety depending on the day of the event. I visited Le Chateau on a Thursday night with a couple of my girlfriends. The live music was great and diverse. The bar staff and guests were awesome. The place resonates this unique bohemian vibe that you don't find in many places. I had one of those "find your beach" moments . It is my understanding that the band will be on break for a couple of weeks, but I look forward to returning to tune into them and the place again. read more

After bookmarking this place, I finally had time to review it. I'm glad I have one less place to try and know I'll never be back. I walked in w a friend to the bartender eating behind the counter. My friend ordered a Long Island tea so I said make it two. It was the worst drink ever. I guess it's a complex drink for a so-so bartender so we went for general mix drinks for the rest of the night. Then it came to getting the bill. 20% was automatically added for tip. Who adds 20% for only drinks for 2 people during the evening? Luckily I noticed it. When the bartender heard me, he came over and said - that tip is only the minimal, you can add more! My friend and I gave a look WTF look in which then he said he did that so he didn't get a $5 tip! I actually had more cash in my hand than what was listed on the bill. Needless to say, I won't be back. A bartender who can't make a drink, and eats & drinks behind the bar doesn't deserve 20%. read more

Great service unfortunately at the time the significant other and I got here it seemed like the neighborhood drunks were making their rounds. I guess they probably hang around here because of the pretty bartender. The mozzarella and tomato plate was disappointing. Mainly due to the fact that they used standard tomatoes instead of Roma tomatoes. They also dressed the bottom of the plate with iceberg lettuce a bit unappealing but the flavor was ok and we chowed it down. The drinks are really good and very cheaply priced. The margaritas were exceptional! The penne vodka with the side of chicken was spectacular. Good portion for two and it came with a side of crushed red prep pepper which added a nice kick. The only thing it was missing was some warm bread and freshly created parmesan. That would have truly made the the plate epic. As far as service is concerned this place takes the cake they were super attentive and quick to bring us anything we requested. They replaced our appetizer silver ware for new silver ware for the main course. Would I come again? You bet. Would I recommend to friends and family, absolutely! read more

They have Karaoke every Thursday and Sunday. It amazing fun with the host, Joselito and the DJ. they give out free shots of the days for anyone who volunteers to sing. The owner, Frank is a very nice and generous. Had a great conversation with him. The food is banging too, it tastes like authentic latin dishes. read more

The guys made the drinks just perfect. The place filled up around 10/11pm. Now the food...wow! Two thumbs up! The stuffed red peppers and stuffed mushrooms are amazing! Decent food and nice staff. We went on a Saturday night and the music was way too loud to talk but it was a fun atmosphere . One caution is that they added 20% gratuity to our bill with only two people, they did not tell us about this charge and so we left a second 20% which we would not have done had we been made aware. Not sure if this charge is the norm but I was quite surprised they would do this for only two people. Overall fun place but check your bill! read more

Went tonight for a drink and to meet with some friends with my girlfriend for her birthday and I must say after tonight, his is the best spot not only in town, but in the whole damn tri-state area! Frank, the owner, is an incredibly kind, generous and considerate individual. Always talking to the patrons and forming new companionships with all of his guests. While I was taking a smoke break, Frank made a point to come out and let me know to come inside because he knew it was my girlfriends birthday and he organized the live band to sing happy birthday while a cake was brought out for her. Now mind you he only expected us for one drink and did all of this without anybody even having to ask. The staff exhibits the same level of care for the customers. They're fast, friendly and exceptional in what they do. From the chef's tasteful creations, to the wonderful owner, the bartenders and their expertise in beverages and service, you can't go wrong with this spot as a perfect night for any occasion.
