Medio Churrasco a la Parrilla & pollo Al ajillo

10/10 will be a new regular at this restaurant. I haven't been inside for 10 years and coming back makes me question why I never returned before! The service first is impeccable. The waiters are nice, attentive, and VERYY helpful. They're always making sure you're well taken care of and content. The food was absolutely amazing. My churrasco was perfectly cooked as requested medium rare. Their sangria is actually to die for, I mean they do NOT hold back on the flavor and kick. One is enough let me tell you! The chicken from what I heard was well seasoned and juicy. Come here for drinks alone and you're set! Tapas all the way around!

Seated right away on a Friday night, ordered two pitchers of red sangria and 4 tapas: patatas bravas, chicharron de pollo, croquettas de bacalao and garlic shrimp. Excellent food, excellent service, I will definitely be back

Great place for families to enjoy a meal together, and they can easily accommodate large groups. I loved the complimentary soup they serve at the beginning; such a nice touch. The food is delicious and the seafood is very fresh. Parking in the area can be a bit tricky, so I'd recommend arriving a little early to give yourself time to find a spot.

Use to come here often years ago, no idea what made me stop but, I'm glad to have rediscovered this gem. The food, the attentiveness of the staff and the quality of the food is amazing.

One of my favorite spots for a sit at the bar with a good whiskey drink and churrasco.... My favorite date of all times to myself

Lunch here today was really, really good. First off... the staff are great. They come often enough (and not TOO OFTEN) to check and make sure you're good. They're bilingual English/ Español, and the red Sangria kicks ass. Very full bodied and sweet. We had some Filet Mignon tips that had a lot of flavor and came in a somewhat spicy sauce. I had Rabbit Stew... the rabbit meat is a wee bit dry, but the stew was great nonetheless. Very nice atmosphere and good people. Would definitely return.

The paella was hands down the main act of my dining experience here! Loved the vibe with all the customers who seem to come very frequently and appreciating good food (which is obviously a good sign). Other than the paella, we tried a bunch of other tapas such as their shrimp with garlic sauce, chorizo with sauteed onions and meat and cheese board to pair well with our red sangria. Overall, experience was amazing and i highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for some tapas and DELICIOUS PAELLA!

Food was delicious. This restaurant never disappoints. The tapas for two is a must order. The desserts and cappuccino were amazing. We come here regularly. Very nice staff and excellent service.

Great red sangria! Get a pitcher to share with your group. Inside is a little cramped. Service is very friendly.

Relatively large portions for tapas style, friendly staff, a lively restaurant, and delicious sangria and food!

    Pulpo a la gallega

Never disappoints! I have been to Tapas 4-5 times now more or less, and I always leave content with the food and experience/ambience. Live flamenco on Friday nights and my favorite appetizer, the pulpo a la gallega which is always 10/10! Each meal I have tried has always been very tasteful and delicious! My friend knows the owner, and as much as I want to say that's why we had great service, I can't because I saw the owner and waiters talking and connecting with every table; very attentive!

    Pollo al ajillo

Pretty good food but was disappointed at the service at the bar, I asked for the rice (which came with the entree) and the spinach (which I ordered separately) to go and neither were in my bag, I was VERY disappointed. I said in English and Spanish and my request was not fulfilled. I almost wished I had gotten a table. The gambas al ajillo were very good, but again, disappointed in the service I received.

Once we entered, we were seated at our table; there is a good amount of seating inside. I ordered from the lunch menu, which consists of an appetizer, main and dessert. I started off with the empanada de queso which was very cheesy and tasty. For my main, I got the half rotisserie chicken which comes with two sides, I got the rice and salad. The chicken was solid and the green sauce and hot sauce mixed together made for a nice dip for the chicken. Also got a pitcher of this purple drink, forgot what it was called but it was good. For dessert I got the tres leches cake, which was the right amount after the big meal. The portion size is very big and for the price ($14.75), you cannot beat that. They give you so much and def worth the trip. If you're in the mood for Peruvian food, I highly recommend place. * Street parking * Good service

It was full, super lively, so many people are out there eating, and hanging out! I came back the next morning on Monday morning and checked out their baked goods and food. Of note, they are primarily Spanish-speaking, but you could just tell that the crew is so kind and welcoming and treats each other like family ! There was a guy from the back who spoke some English, and he helped me out with the menu and ordering. I got a cafe con leche (coffee with milk) ($3)sweetened which was SO GOOD. None of that watery coffee, but just so creamy and delicious! I think they made the Cuban style or added some sweetened condensed milk because it was absolutely delicious. Also got the banana bread (~$3) -- was yummy and perfect with the coffee! By itself was a tiny bit dry with a light and fluffy banana taste but sooo good with the coffee. And got the mixed tacos ($13) 4 tacos -- really great deal, with a mix of chicken, pork sausage, beef and maybe more pork? Also had a chopped radishes, cilantro, onion, and came with a few limes and salsa! Such a great deal and very protein filled! I love these types of restaurants and wish that my Spanish was better for next time.

You cannot hear anyone because it is way too loud... even if they are right next to you, the staff had trouble hearing us and we could barely hear them. My food wasn't good. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out medium well. Mind you I said it three times and he said it back to me. I made sure because of how loud it is. It was dry, tough, and lacked flavor. I also explained that I cannot eat onions before ordering and the waiter confirmed the salad with my meal has onions but offered to substitute my salad with rice since I cannot eat onions. That was very nice of him, but he gave me yellow rice that had onions in it so I couldn't eat that. The maduros, which I grew up on and eat all the time, looked and tasted old. I couldn't even eat them and others at my table agreed with the steak and maduros. We had a big table and overall no one was happy with this place. The pandebono wasn't great either, the bottom was a bit burned and it was lacking flavor like a lot of the food we ordered. I had to add salt. I wasn't drinking that night so ordered a Shirley Temple with extra cherries, something I order when I don't feel like drinking, and it was awful. First off, not 1 cherry lol but it was mostly Grenadine syrup! So hard to drink. I had my gf, her sister, and her aunt try it. No one liked it. One of my friends ordered a dirty martini and it tasted really strange more like pickle juice and liquor. She tried to drink it, but she couldn't and I don't blame her. A few of us tasted it... not good. She asked the waiter if she could trade it for a margarita because someone else got one and said it was okay. The waiter comes back with another dirty martini that was even worse! The piña colada was pretty good, weak, but not bad. Maybe stick with that. A few people at the table got it so I got to taste it. I will not be coming back here ever. Colombia Kaliente in Englewood is where it's at- 10,000 times better.
