Pisco sour was out of this world super smooth. We got a seat at the bar. Mojito Maracuya was yum, the ropa viejo mofongo was good, and so was the montaditos. The arroz chino was so flavorful. Anyway, super cute spot and amazing service. Highly recommend and will be back

Food options are endless and fairly priced. If you get lucky the view to the city is beautiful. Great for groups and the service is always vibrant.

I frequent this location often. I love all the upgrades including the rooftop. We sat on the first floor and it wasn't as crowded as I expected it to be. We couldn't eat outside because it was raining. However, I may have to come back for their summer drink. It was a little sweet but the tajin softened it a bit. The food is the closest you will get to a home cooked Cuban cuisine in the area - that won't break the bank. The server was attentive and anytime we needed something, he was right there to assist. Ps. Please either change or lower the lighting in the bathroom- it's blinding. But overall, great experience.

Went in today to pick up a take-out order and decided to have a quick drink while our food was being packed. We were recommended some new cocktails and man, were they delicious! Limpia Del Alma, a super refreshing watermelon based drink featuring gin, that came with a full-on experience. Their traditional old-fashioned (chef's kiss with the bourbon cherry & chilled glass) and finally, we tried La Rumba Cubana, a take on a spicy margarita with fresh herbs and some sort of foam with a black salted rim. I don't typically like margaritas but, hands down, the most scrumptious balance of acid, heat, and salty-sweetness! The ambiance was spectacular & the staff friendly and attentive. Hasan was our bartender today but he was definitely more of a mixologist. He was knowledgeable about spirits and put on a show as he prepared our drinks. To top it all off, the take-out we brought home was phenomenal. If I have one critique, it'd be the tostones were a bit overcooked. Overall, amazing and we'll definitely be back again! Gracias Hasan, eres tremendo mixólogo!

Dining at Rumba is always a delight. The decor is tropical, the music is nostalgic, and the service is stellar, thanks to Yurama, who made us feel at home. My Coconut Margarita was on point and thoroughly enjoyed. My Bistec de Pollo Encebollado (chicken with onions) is my favorite, along with the Moro Rice (rice & beans cooked in the same pot), and Tostones (green plantains) with the mojo dipping sauce. For dessert, we shared the Coconut Flan and that was amazing. Optimally sweet, with the perfect amount of coconut adorning the top layer. I can never get enough of Rumba Cubana and hope that everyone enjoys the experiences that I consistently appreciate.

I've been here multiple times and it never disappoints. I always forget to take photos of my meal because the food is so good. This is my go to spot when I am visiting my friend who lives in the area. At times parking can be tough to find a spot. Service is great and patient. I like this location because the are overlooking tree water and NYC. The calamari is a must have as it is paired with a sweet and spicy chili sauce. It's great on the seafood as well. I usually end up getting seafood here because it's such a good portion and the flavor. The dessert is great. I recommend their tres leches always. As it is the perfect sized portion and the presentation is great. Our server recommended the chocolate lava cake which I didn't know it was something they offered but it was amazing as it was dark chocolate and had the bitter taste I enjoy.

Rumba has a great vibe and ambience with reasonable prices, but I've definitely had better Cuban food. I attended a private event upstairs the space was a bit tight and the rectangular tables didn't really fit the room; round tables would have worked better. The food overall was good, just not the kind of meal that makes you say 'wow, I need to come back for this.' The mojito was nice, but again, I've had better elsewhere. On the plus side, the service was great, which really made the experience enjoyable. Overall, it was a decent spot, just not one I feel like I'll be craving to revisit

Nothing but great stuff to say about Rumba! The food is delicious and I applaud them for their reasonable prices. The staff has always been personable and friendly. The decor and vibe is bright and lively. I enjoy rumba in all ways. I take myself for a solitary lunch to enjoy their lunch specials. So good & great value. I've come for fun dates. It's mojito time baby. Let's get reckless (but properly reckless of course, this is a restaurant after all) I've celebrated my bday in the lounge upstairs. Ok there you could let your hair down a bit especially in the dance floor. Yes it turns into a dance floor upstairs. And I've gone to celebrate other special events with large parties (table for 10, no problem). And it won't break the bank nor would you be sacrificing quality. Now that's a win.

Valet parking and you have to pay of course or street parking which is not bad depending on what time you go

Looking for a spot to go salsa dancing with friends on a Friday night. This place was recommended. Is there actual salsa music and dancing?

There's a bar area but no where to actually dance and the music isn't played loud enough to even dance to it. More like a mellow place.

Is there a bar? Good to go just for a couple drinks?

Yes , and a lounge in the next floor to wait for your table in case you go to dinner.

She decided to come on a Saturday night as they have a live DJ. The restaurant has valet parking, but my husband and I opted to park in a local parking garage and walk over. It was about two blocks. The place is absolutely stunning! It is located right across from the city where you can enjoy beautiful views of the skyline and water. The restaurant has several gorgeous chandeliers and a very upscale vibe. The dining area seemed to be split in two and we sat in what seemed to be the main dining area, with the bar. But there was another extended area beyond. I was completing dry January so opted to have a mocktail. I had a guava margarita mocktail and let me tell you... This was the best mocktail I've ever had! A lot of times when I order one it just literally tastes like soda. I'm not sure exactly what they put into this one, but there was a smoky finish that made it taste like there was mezcal. Even my husband was surprised at how delicious it was and how much it resembled an alcoholic drink. I was elated to actually have a delicious tasting non-alcoholic drink. (For once) To eat, my husband and I shared the antojitos sampler. This made more sense for us than getting the individual appetizers we got - as that way would have been more expensive and we wanted to be able to try multiple things. The sampler came with ham & cheese croquetas (which were my husband's fave) mixed empanadas, maduros rellenos, queso Fritos y chicharrones. The fried cheese, maduros & chicharrones were my fave even though it was all amazing. For dessert, we had flan and sadly that was a miss for me. My grandmother's Puerto Rican flan will always top any that I try, so idk why I try lol Their spin is to add pineapple and I didn't like it. All in all, it was a wonderful birthday celebration and the birthday girl enjoyed the food & the vibe. Thanks for having us Son Cubano! I will be back to try your brunch!
