I used to love this store! Great deals and usually great staff but it's hit and miss. The first few times I was here there was a wonderful salesperson who was very personable and helpful. I went there today and I feel like one of the salespeople was questioning whether or not my clearance item came From the clearance section. I had inquired as to why the same items were in the regular section and she had explained the clearance was seconds quality etc. I said ok and I got a couple of items from the clearance section but upon checking out the salesperson questioned whether one of my items came from clearance because she stated that there's supposed to be a mark on the lid and the bottom part and mine only had the mark on the lid. For a minute there I thought she was going to not let me purchase it as she seemed skeptical and accusatory. Well to that sales lady if you see this review- after I got home and removed the price tag stickers so I could wash them- the mark was under the sticker. Been using my new oatmeal pan per the recommendation from Misha, I am in love with this mighty wonder of a small pan, it's so perfect for two servings of anything , grab one of the extended handle silicone slip on's and a heart shaped heat resistant knob for the lid and start your day with a smile . Although i need 2 hands to lift this pan , and this brand is not disability friendly this pan just met my weight limit . I still highly recommend this brand , especially if you don't have ortho issues . read more

I guess it is hit or miss with employees here. I have been in an empty store twice now unable to escape conversations of employees trashing each other behind their backs. Calling the store manager to suggest it could make customers uncomfortable was a waste of time. The third time (yes, I know, I keep coming back!) there was someone asking about the best choice to make sourdough. I make sourdough every week and absolutely love a particular model. Wow, thank you STACY! I had a concern with a Le Creuset item that was purchased though a second hand source. This item was unfortunately discontinued in cast iron, but is now only produced in stoneware hence why I bought second hand. The item was basically brand new, a few minor scuffs, but I am unfamiliar with these products. I had originally contacted Le Creuset 1800 number which was awful, 45 minutes of waiting and no one ever answered, twice! So then out of desperation I called Williams Sonoma since that's where I purchase all my LC. Then was directed to the outlet near the grape vine, where they were very helpful too and then they directed me to Stacy. She was able to help, and when she didn't have the answer she contacted the regional manager. They got back to me in the same day. That is quality. I will go and buy all my LC from this location from now on. Stacy should train LC headquarters in customer service. Thank you Stacy for being prompt and so helpful. Also to Julie, she was very helpful. This location is huge, offers discontinued pieces as well as new pieces. They are open during covid, masks required, please be respectful of LC's safety rules. I had a wonderful shopping experience today, it was my first time in the Le Creuset outlet store! I wanted to buy evvverything, they had some items 35% off, 40% and 50%.... I got 2 mugs, 2 bowls, 1 baking dish, a silicone trivet, a silicone pot handle holder AND an ice cream scooper...... all for $163!!!!!! I don't know what is up with the 1 star reviews, and people saying the employees are racist... Julie was the associate that helped me today, and she was so lovely! We had a great chat (mostly about both of our obsessions for Le Creuset LOL) I will definitely be back for the grill pan and the other 2 pans that Julie suggested (next paycheck!) This is one of the outlet stores you can truly get a killer deal. The same Dutch oven for sale at Bed Bath and Beyond, the Le Creuset website, Macy's going for $350 and never eligible for coupons was $194 at the outlet. I was going to leave when a female worker who'd overheard, came over and guided me to the very few Marseille items that were widely scattered throughout. They weren't what I needed. The Le Creuset store is the main reason I love the Camarillo Outlets. Most of my visits included the "Buy More, Save More" sale. For instance, if you spend $125, then you get 20%. So if you spend a certain amount or buy a certain type of product or color, then you can save as much as 35% off. I want to buy everything when I enter this store, but my credit card won't let me. I'm not committed to one color so I have few pieces in flame (orange) and caribbean (turquoise). All the colors complement each other so well that I don't mind owning the entire Le Creuset color palate. I ended up choosing an 11.75 inch cast iron skillet in cassis (purple) and a garlic keeper that only comes in dune (off white). At this outlet store, they are a bit cheaper than the regular prices but the additional savings are what defines this sale. This store is great because their staff really know their products very well because they own and use their products. I'm slowly building my Le Creuset collection piece by piece. This is my favorite go to place to do the occasional splurge on cookware that will last. read more

This location could do with a serious sit down with the staff here. I was at this location on Tuesday afternoon, 4/26 to buy a French press. I walked in and noticed that I was the only customer in the store. There was one sales clerk (female) who was near the counter. I asked about the French presses, and she just waved her hand in the direction of the shelf. I noticed the one that I wanted was wedged in between several unboxed ones, and I asked her if she could help me take it off the shelf. She actually said "no, you're fine". What? My mom and I came here looking to get a good price on a Dutch oven. The midnight grey color was 50% off and they were selling fast. We ended up buying the whole collection in that color. Stacy the lovely employee helped us by educating us on Le Creuset and tracking down items for our collection. We purchased about 10 items from the collection for 50-60% so we saved tons of money. The quality of Le Creuset is unbelievable. Our Dutch oven retailed for over $300 and we got it for a little over $100. The staff is soooo friendly and willing to help. My mom is so picky with colors and the second she saw the classy midnight grey color she wanted to buy it all. Stacy was able to get us the items we wanted and she has been so kind to us. Every associate at this store is beyond friendly and knowledgable. The store is always clean and inviting. read more

This store had great prices, but the item I wanted was sold out with the exception of the floor display. The premium quality that this brand offers is worthy of the pricing however an item that has been displayed as a floor model has a significant depreciated value. So as a customer who is willing to purchase something that has obvious signs of less than pristine conditions, I'd expect a reasonable price adjustment. The item I wanted was priced at a 40% off discount in new condition and the sales associate asked his manager for a further adjustment due to several scratches on the item. So in turn the manager without any formal acknowledgment of my presence, said she'd give a 5% discount. Traditionally discounts for worn items are around 10% so I figured it it wouldn't hurt to ask. I would've went through with the purchase however when I asked if that was the best discount that good be given on the item which was around $185, her demeanor seemed abrupt and uncouth as she sharply said "No." So rather than taking her unprofessional behavior personally I kindly asked where the nearest locations were and requested that a call be placed to check on the item's availability there. She called and told me that the Citadel location in Los Angeles also only had the display available. My concern regarding the experience here is the way that the store manager handled the interaction. Customer service is something that should always be handled empathetically and professionally at all times. Her attitude was the reason that I didn't buy that lovely pot. I really wanted the pot and I could've easily purchased it. However I absolutely refuse to do business with an organization that allows representation in that manner. Being kind and remaining diligent in creating a positive customer service experience especially when you're the face of a highly respected brand; is essential to success. I can not emphasize enough how much excellent customer service supported by a positive attitude is necessary in business. Although I don't know the store manager's name, I do know that her service etiquette is a disgrace. I'll go to Williams Sonoma and pay full price before I ever step foot into a discount store like this. ***One star for the product with scratches that I almost bought and ZERO stars for this location.*** read more

I have been lusting for a Le Creuset Round Dutch Oven for years... I finally decided to splurge on one. I knew that I wanted either a 5 1/4 or 7 1/4 quart. I called ahead and asked the prices for the pots. The salesperson was so kind and helpful. I wish I remembered her name... Anyways, she listed the 1st and 2nd choice pot prices for me. She also told me that there was a 35% sale at the time; so a 2nd choice 7 1/4 pot would be $180. That was good enough for me. I made the 40 minute trip to Camarillo that same day. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted pleasantly and instantly felt at home. They showed me the collection of round pots and answered all my questions. I asked them for suggestions on which size to buy. They all recommended the 7 quart one. As for color, I really didn't have a preference. I was going to go with the Caribbean color... However, the salespeople told me that the Marseilles colored pots were all 50% off! Apparently, it was a special Williams-Sonoma one, and they stopped producing that color. No problem! That was good enough for me! For a 7 1/4 quart round pot that was originally $330, I got it for $166!! I am so, so happy with my purchase! Even though it was 2nd choice, you really can't tell. There are tiny scuffs on the top, but that's about it. I definitely recommend CALLING before stopping by here, especially if you don't live close by, like me. Do not be deterred by the low ratings. I've had great experiences at this store and will continue shopping here. The employees know their products and have always been helpful whenever I needed something or had a question about a particular item. When an item isn't available at the time, they took down my information and called me when it was at the store and put in on hold for me so that I can pick it up. As far as pricing go, it isn't laughable at all. Le Creuset are high end cooking supplies known for their superb quality, I think it's more laughable that it's being compared to Target cookware. Most times they know off hand the original price and the promotional price and can tell you how long the sale will be. When you call on the phone they are just as friendly and helpful, able to give a quick clear answer to a question.
