This was one of my most memorable places from 2025 and definitely somewhere I want to go back to…read more We came here for a girls' night on a Saturday without a reservation and were surprised that we got a table pretty quickly. Our server and bartender were incredibly attentive and gave us so many drink and food recommendations, all of which turned out to be so good. My friends and I ordered tapas family-style and got a bunch of small dishes to share, and we honestly loved every single one. The standouts for us were the patatas, the cauliflower, and the lamb meatballs. Everything was flavorful, well-balanced, and perfect for sharing.

Never had that happen.. was still not like that an hour in. The restaurant was not busy at all for me not to have a table. Okay. Th bar area was very tight, i was practically cuddling with the other guest there. I started off with a wine, and ordered the caccio e Pepe, and wagyu steak. If you are ever serving someone, in my 10+ years of hospitality. If anything is an upcharge you tell your customer. The bartender asked me what kind of sauce i liked for my steak, he recommends me both. Okay I'll try both. (Extra upcharge i didn't know about) Then asks if i want the mashed potato that comes on the side. (Another upcharge $2 i didn't know about) i said sure! My food comes out, I'm starving, steak is cooked beautiful, sauces, not so good they're bland. Won't use them. Pasta, eh, very flavorless for what it should be. No one really checks up on me, I'm kinda just on my own. I got the check. See all these charges and get annoyed, i pay because either way im going to get neglected.

This is the third time we've eaten here and it was just as delicious as our first. The food is always fresh and hot. The biscuits make you want to "slap your Momma". The cappuccinos are always hot and reminds us of our life in Italy. The service is impeccable, gracious, and professional from the greet staff to the servers. And speaking of our life in Italy, the interior is so well done...cozy but energetic; pristine without being pretentious. Go for the food/drinks; stay for the atmosphere!

This could have been handled so differently each time. We have been there twice since and this is what has happened. 1 time we walked in without reservation there were just 2 of us and several seats available including bar top. We were told we could not eat because we did not have reservations. We asked if we could possibly take a bar top or outside the waitress said no. This time we had a reservation and arrived 30 mins early when we got there we gave them our name and the waitress said it would be 45 mins. We asked if we could possibly get seated early since we were there (9:30 am) without looking at the schedule or the room she replied "No 45 mins". We turned and left. We had not been gone 10 mins and got a text saying our table was ready. I canceled the reservation. We ate at one of the hotels downtown and it was lovely. I did book this reservation a day early. Will not be booking again. Very disappointed.

All secondary roads are still snow packed so at 11:30 there was only one other couple in the restrauant. The Press is in an old (1920's ?) repourposed building. The interior is comfortable, charming and a bit whimsical. We started with an order of cheese sticks. They were very good and large. I liked that the cheese sticks did not have Italian seasoning in the breading. Jan ordered the chicken fried ribeye with mashed potatoes, cream gravey and green beans. Jan loved it. I took a bite of the chicken fried steak and it was excellent. The green beans were very good. They were loaded with garlic, which I love, but if you're not a garlic fan, I would suggest another side. I ordered the grilled chicked sandwich with waffle fries. The sandwich was good and the waffle fries were excellent. The portions are large and the food quality excellent. The prices reasonable. The menu has variety. You can't go wrong by dining at The Press.

I got the Press Cobb salad but asked if they'd turn it into a wrap, and they didn't give me any trouble about it. Easier to eat when you're trying to talk and chew at the same time. The wrap was fresh, filling, decent mix of chicken, bacon, veggies, dressing not drowning in lettuce like some Cobb salads end up being. Waffle fries were crispy when they showed up but cooled off pretty quick once we got into conversation, so eat those first I guess.

I visited twice during my trip--once solo and again with a friend--and enjoyed both experiences. Service can vary depending on how busy they are, but I actually preferred the lively evening atmosphere. The lights reflecting around the center of Bricktown made it an even better experience. I ordered the Bourbon St. Special along with the blueberry mojito, which my server recommended. It was refreshing, and the food portions were huge. If you go, I'd definitely recommend visiting at night and requesting a table by the Riverwalk for the best views.

My drink (Pineapple Martini) was delicious. My food was just okay. There were a lot of cons: 1. The front staff could've been a lot more welcoming. & Service was kind of slow. But I understand that it was Valentine's Day, so I'll give them grace. However, we had to ask for napkins and utensils twice. We couldn't eat our food and had to wait a few minutes until we had to ask the waitress who brought us our food to bring us some. More on her later. 2. I've had New Orleans food in New Orleans. Nothing compares to the real deal. This was honestly not what I expected. But this is also in Oklahoma, so I can't expect much. My food was a bit bland. However, it was still good. Just not "WOW". 3. The second waitress or whoever it was that brought our food to us (not Morgan). She also was a brunette with her hair curled. Listen, I am not an insecure woman. It's very annoying that I have to even call this out. Because there has to be boundaries and respect when you work in the service industry, you know? At least that's what I was taught when I used to work in the industry. My husband also noticed her vibe and mentioned to me that he felt uncomfortable. I felt invisible because every time she came to our table, she had her entire back towards me and was OVERLY nice to my husband. The first time I was like "not serious at all". This girl did it 3x. Literally only acknowledged my husband. When she placed his food in front of him and when she came back with our utensils it was quite obvious she was being flirtatious. Like OBVIOUS. The disrespect. On Valentine's Day too, when there are couples dining and celebrating the day. Wild. Our actual waitress was very professional. The other one? Not so much. I honestly don't think we'll ever return to this restaurant when we visit.
