We saw Anthony Bourdain visit once and we had to check it out. Great place, Parisian ambiance. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. The food was presented beautifully.

Perfect spot in Montparnasse for a relaxing lunch. Service on point, people watching amazing, food was over the top good.

My family of six (4 adults and 2 toddlers) had the great pleasure of having dinner here. We made reservations in advance and were seated immediately. The restaurant is located in a cute little neighborhood perfect for strolling around. Our server was very attentive and took great care of us. The restaurant was even kind enough to prepare plain pasta (off-menu) to accommodate our little ones. We shared the oysters (they were not my favorite) to start. They offered us an amuse bouche as well. I ordered the lobster pasta and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food here was delicious. The seafood tower looked AMAZING. We didn't order it at our table but it's definitely something to come back for.

Should have been better. Crab was still frozen in the center. It looked quite good but was watery and bland. Service awol. The view is still great though. Have a drink.

What a surprise this restaurant ended up being. The food qas exquisite but the service was the best of the best. Our server James and his team were funny, warm, welcoming and on top of their game the entire time. My mom had the veal chop she said best ever. I had the seafood platter and my husband had monk fish. The true winner though was the dessert!!! Run and vanilla Napoleon that has won awards for best Napoleon. They served us a slice as big as my head and we devoured it. So light and delish! Highly recommend this place.

We stopped in for Escargot and onion soup after the visit to the Eiffel Tower. Both were good but not great. And quite expensive for what I have been paying in Paris for the same or similar. But it was lively and fun to be there. Prob not getting a second visit.

Great food, I had the sea bass I'm not the biggest fan of cold crab or lobster. My family had the tower and loved it. The desserts were amazing. Of course the service was great. The restaurant is upscale but more on the casual side for dress.

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here. It was a glamorous evening at an old school ornate beautiful French seafood restaurant with excellent staff who were professional, but friendly, and made sure everything was done right. We had everything from the foie gras, langoustines, and whole roasted Sole Meuniere, to the Millefeuille for dessert. It was a wonderful evening.

Deluxe seafood tower, foie gras, and much more!!

Everything was delicious, and the staff were so accommodating to our family and my 15 month old son! Clean bathrooms as well! My family and I will be returning again next time we are in Paris!

This was the best meal we had in all 6 countries we visited this trip. The view of the Eiffel Tower all lit up at night was stunning as well, and our waiter just elevated the experience. We ended up spending a good 3.5 hours eating, drinking and visiting with guests at neighboring tables. The ambiance was lovely and I would absolutely dine here the next time we're in Paris.

    Napoleon of course

They deserve a worst service award. Just turn around and find another cafe! The price is so high for what I get.

Just finished a long bike ride to the Eiffel Tower and worked up an appetite. Decided to go straight to the main course. They are known for Au Gratins. My son is not a cheese fan so he opted for the norvigene (smoked salmon in dill lemon and EVOO. I decided to stick with the house specialty; Landais Au Gratin (cream potatoes, duck breast and emmental cheese). The 2 German girls beside me ordered a cider with both their meals so I followed their lead. When in Paris...... Considering the temperature, I almost second-guess myself and ordered something other than their house specialty of au gratin potatoes. In the end, I was very glad I overruled that thought. Brody enjoyed his meal. He just appeared to still be hungry when it was done and a 16 year-old boy that normally has a high caloric intake, I can understand why he wanted a second meal after eating his first! The restaurant in the patio were quite crowded even though we had reservations. They still sat us within five minutes of arrival. Not that five minutes is a long time to wait, but it was still worth the wait as good as the food tasted. We both enjoyed our meals.

THE FOOD ------------------…read more= Fermier - Cheese gratin with chicken was good. Didn't blow me away, but was solid with the creaminess of the sliced potatoes and emmental cheese combined together with mixed vegetables. The cheese was very strong though, so anything else was unfortunately pretty much overpowered by it. Arrived with bread, but it DEFINITELY could use other carb options to sop it all up (e.g., rice???)! = Landais - Cheese gratin with duck. Same comment as the above, except the Landais had egg and goat cheese also mixed in with almost the same ingredients as the Fermier. THE SERVICE ----------------------- + The lone waitress, who also worked the role as greeter, cashier and bartender was friendly. + Food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ = Small, tight restaurant. = Not many tables inside - 6 in total. + Located a few blocks away from the more touristy restaurants, towards the East, on a much quieter street. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Nada.
