I just love this place! Everyone from the staff to the doctors are friendly, caring, knowledgeable and skilled. I experienced no pain and they were always checking in with me. I had quite of bit of work done and they set out all of my charges prior to the procedures and set up a plan of action to get everything done in a timely fashion. I immediately walked in and was greeted right away!! The girls in the front are sooo sweet and so nice! They make you feel so welcome. I walked in super nervous. My appointment was at 4 and I was about to call ten minutes before to cancel because I was so scared. Lemme just say that I am so happy I did not decide to cancel. My last time at the dentist was not the greatest so that's why I've been so nervous. Andrea called me and checked up on me the day before, which was a nice reminder. I came in and Christina was more than happy to help me. They make you feel so comfortable with such bubbly personalities! They even called me the day after to make sure everything went well! I am very disappointed...they are kind to your face but they will hustle you. I feel victimized. I have requested a full audit through my insurance. They seem to have dishonest billing. Make sure you call your insurance company before they do anything for you! Make sure you are covered. My insurance claimed they overcharged me several times. Also they recommend and persuade you to allow unnecessary treatments...They made mistakes with my crowns (measurements) causing me to make multiple visits. When they finally got the crowns put in they gave me retainers to finish ortho...Now my tooth is loose from my retainer and the crown is all discolored. Very stressful...Maybe they should have waited until my ortho treatment was completely finished before hustling me to put crowns in. I tried to be patient and I usually don't make reviews but I had enough! I am looking for a new dentist with quality results that get it right the 1st time! read more

I called Stonelake Dental & they just had a cancellation & fit me right in. I went in & I'm pretty anxious when I'm at the dentist, it's just something about them. This dentist and his staff were amazing and kept my anxiety at bay. They told me in detail what they were going to do, and gave me a couple different options. They also went over my payment options. My family started coming to this dental office around June. The girls in the office were great and our first cleanings were fine. We did notice that they try to "upsell" a lot. Invisalign, premium crowns that aren't necessary and when you say no thanks they kind of look at you like you are crazy. One dentist tried to tell me that I needed my upper wisdom teeth to be taken out even though numerous dentists have told me they are so far up that they will never be an issue. Dr. Le ended up looking at them and also agreed that I did not need oral surgery. Both my husband and I have needed some work so we have been there a few times. During a filling I was numbed about 5 times which has never happened to me before. On top of that the dentist was pretty rough. My husband went in for a root canal and the Dr. was unable to complete it. They referred him to an Endodontist where we had to pay even more money and that Dr. said there was absolutely no reason the other dentist shouldn't have been able to take care of it. By this time we were not sure we wanted to go back. This past week I went in for a REGULAR cleaning. The lady numbed my gums with a topical over and over throughout the cleaning. I was literally gripping the arm rests for dear life as she dug into my gums. She kept saying sorry, but that is not how a cleaning is supposed to go. I am 41. I have had plenty. My deep cleaning didn't even come close to this. I was sore for 2 days. That was the straw that broke the camel's back. Obviously we won't be returning to this practice. I will say that Darcy is amazing and Dr. Le is great. I don't think anyone else aside from the front desk is worth dealing with. read more

This is the best dentist ever! I brought in my older brother to schedule an emergency root canal. He was in so much pain. Even though they were closing, they took him in right then, instead of scheduling, and Dr. Le took such great care of him. I can't tell you all how great the staff is here. The girls in the front were so intelligent and kind and helped us through the financial process. The office is clean and spacious too. I was so impressed, I brought in my little brother to get one of his silver fillings replaced. Set an appointment to get fillings done, the asst spent a whole hour just getting my X-rays done, I sat around waiting for another good 40 minutes or so, then was told that they couldn't do my fillings because they had another appointment coming in. Luckily, I had a reminder card, written by one of the receptionist there; otherwise, I would've looked like a fool! They searched and searched for my record and said it would be shortly but I waited for 20 minutes and nothing happened. So I asked if I can re-schedule my appointment. Guess what? Even though it's not the first thing that comes to mind and that is, "Hey, lets go to the dentist" but my wife and I have been going to this office for the last 5 years. We've fortunately haven't had to have really any major dental work to speak of and I attribute that to the fact that Dr. Le and his staff have kept us on our toes (teeth) about keeping our teeth maintained at home as well. Just got all four wisdom teeth pulled. Dr.Gates was so amazing. The numbing worked like magic. No happy gas needed. I closed my eyes during the procedure and I was a so surprise when he told me he was done? You sure you got all 4? Lol the real pain starts later. I have been a patient of Dr. Le since he took over the office from my old dentist. When I first started seeing Dr. Le, my teeth were a mess. I simply didn't take care of them like I should. I was never once made to feel bad. Actually, something about Dr. Le's demeanor made me want to do better. And I did. Now, after many years, fillings, a couple of root canals, crowns, and an Invisalign treatment later, I have great teeth that I work hard to take care of. My dental visits are in and out. If you are with in driving distance of Elk Grove, Dr. Le (pronounced "Lay") is one of the most talented dentist I have ever seen. Lord knows I have been in a lot of dental offices in my adult years!!! His staff are excellent in every way. His associate dentist that gave me the novocain shots was the best ever to poke me in the gums. The young woman that does the temporary bridge and crown work is a real artist, which is important because you have to carry the temps around in your mouth for about a week and a half. read more

I have a bad experience with this dental office. A hygienist broke my wire retainer that attached on my bottom teeth while she was cleaning, I couldn't say 100% for sure she did it, so I didn't pursue further. The female dentist fixed it temporarily with nominal fee, but it broke again 6 months later. Also they do some wonky things on the billing, they are not clear about the costs, a paper from the insurance surprised me. I tried to call them twice to figure it out what was going on, but they never called me back. I requested the X rays release to the other dentist because I finally fed up with them. So I physically went to the office, signed the paper to release my dental record and told them to email it to the other dentist by a certain time. They never did. Unbelievable. Stuff members, a dentist, hygienists are all very nice. Very welcoming, they make you comfortable. But that's not what I wanted. I wanted the honesty and sincere manner. They made me think that they cared about the profit over my teeth. read more

My favorite dental office I've ever been to. Dr. Le is always so patient with me and my questions in every visit. Something I look for in providers as it seems Dr's are always in a rush to see their next pt. Also, my last cleaning with Darcy - the BEST cleaning I've had in my entire life. She really gets in there to remove deposits, and my pockets that measured 4 or 5 have now adhered to my teeth nicely. Today, I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Gates, an OS that comes into the office once a month. He worked so quickly and efficiently and is truly a kind man. All 4 of my teeth were out within maybe 20-25 mins once the novocaine kicked in. I finished my visit with Shay and Andrea, and they are so wonderful to walk me through finance options and always answer my questions with thorough explanation. This office does not accept Denti-cal, but I am honestly willing to pay since I love this office. My wisdoms cost me $325 each as they were full bony. The cost is $225 if your wisdoms are soft tissue. Anesthesia is not offered at this location, but the numbing was just fine. My Fiance has tricare, and they do accept his military insurance. We both love this office, and will be loyal patients as long as Dr. Le is in practice, :). Update (Feb 20, 2015) My Fiance had his root canal done by Dr. Cuevas, and once again, phenomenal job. I came in to pick up his prescription for him, and she examined my previous wisdom extraction sites just to make sure I was healing properly. I didn't even have an appointment! Little things like this are moments that I really appreciate. I was worried about the gaping holes where my wisdoms were, but she and Darcy assured me that this was perfectly normal and apart of the healing process, lol! Dr. Cuevas has such a sweet demeanor. Dr. Marina also checked my extraction sites about a week prior. Another wonderful dentist! She is very knowledgable, and provides pt education like no other! As a nurse, this is also another trait that I value. I referred my sister to this office, so hopefully she can have the wonderful experience we have had! read more

So i went into to Stonelake Dental today for my consultation appt. A few weeks prior i was having pain in my lower wisdom tooth. So i was coming to see what could be done. I actually just want them taken out. So i'm not one to like to go to the dentist. Honestly haven't been in years. So i was very apprehensive. When i came in the receptionist was nice. Her name was Diana. Filled out the paper work and was called back within ten minutes. So initially a dental hygienist came in to look at my teeth, before the doctor came in. She was really nice, very informative. Then doctor marina came in. Not sure if i spelled that right. But she was nice, informative as well. She had a calming about her. Which made me relax. Because i was so nervous to see the least. So just finished with going over the logistics. so I'm supposed to be getting called back from Diana,regarding me setting up appointment with Dr. Reed so he can see about pulling out my teeth my wisdom teeth that is in the office. So overall the consultation was fine. I didn't feel pressured to have some type of up sale or cleaning or anything like that like I said my main objective was to get my wisdom teeth pulled out. And they listened to what I was saying. Then depending on how that goes I may make this place my next dental offices. :-) read more
