It was very large, but thin. Not how I prefer my cookies but it was good with a homemade warmth to it. My favorite dessert I got was a peach crisp danish-like item for $1.95. It had nice flaky layers, was large for the price and the peach filling was perfect. My only gripe was the cinnamon bun was too dry. Only the very middle was moist, it needed more butter throughout. We have been coming here for 10 years and never been disappointed. A great spot to pick up a pastry or a quick dessert, and they do a fantastic job with custom cakes. This all started when I needed a specific special cake, which my son had requested for his 11th Birthday. Being new to the area I relied on Yelp for location. I came across this bakery which had great reviews and thought well , I will give it a shot. I called them about 2 weeks prior, and sent them a text on some ideas I had for his cake. The lady on the phone was very polite and accommodating. Helping me and giving me thoughts and recommendations. She was helpful and pleasant. Cake was made on time, and it come out wonderful. Le Favorite made a strawberry shortcake for a birthday party for me. It was fresh and delicious! I think one of the best strawberry shortcakes I've ever had. I got a 12 inch round cake for 20-25 people. Pricing was fair and I definitely feel like I got my money's worth. It was a huge hit at the party and everyone enjoyed it! I will definitely order from them again!! What a fun find nestled in a plaza. We happened on this place while visiting another business here and happily stopped in to check it out. They have a cake counter and pie counter (including the cutest mini pies that would be perfect for a date night at home). There pastry cases were filled with all sorts of goodies like a variety of cheesecakes, cupcakes, danishes, you name it! They even fresh baked breads and calzones. I opted for the cheesecake and wow was it amazing! So flavorful. My husband loved his too! My friends got a calzone and apple Danish and more cheesecake. If we're back in the area I'll definitely stop back and I'll try an iced coffee next time! read more

Ordered a custom "skull cheesecake". Was assured they could do it. The good: the cheesecake was perfect. Perfect crust. Perfect texture. Absolutely delicious. Very impressed. Also the kids at the counter were very friendly and professional. The bad: the cheesecake looks like a four year old decorated it. Like no effort was put into it. The redeeming thing was that it was so bad it was hilarious. Whoever did this should not be doing custom anything. The skull shape was nowhere near symetrical. The decorating job was just plain lacking. So, I'd go here again for what looks like some good stuff in their cases as well as their cheesecake, I will just never trust them with anything that requires creativity and talent. I stopped in yesterday for a few small things. Bismark, rasberry tart, cannoli, and hostess cupcake. The girl behind the counter was very nice and it seems to be the kind of place the locals love. There were some regulars in there while I was there. The tart is more of a cookie but it was good, as was the cupcake. A good bismark is hard to find but they managed to put the right amount of jam in there. It was bigger than most though so definitely something to share. The cannoli cream was very good but the shell was mushy, which is why you do not pre-fill cannoli! A big pet peeve of mine and always a lazy move, but something many bakeries still do. This is a smaller bakery in a strip mall that you most likely will pass every day. Their chocolate chip brownies are awesome and only $1.00. I prefer them over the ones with nuts. Their eclairs are pretty good too but inconsistent with size and prices. I preferred them much over LaSalle bakery. The cupcakes were average IMO but their garlic bread is really good especially if you like garlic because there are bits and pieces inside the bread. I'll be honest, a wedding cake was one of the wedding expenses I really just don't get. You get that one cake-cutting photo and by the time slices are on the tables, half of your guests are too busy dancing to even notice. I had no interest in buying an exorbitantly priced wedding cake that no one was going to eat. Instead, my husband and I really wanted to do a dessert table with all different types of treats - something for everyone. Le Favorite is right around the corner from my parent's house, so we went there first. They have a great selection and high-quality products - which I knew going in. What I didn't know was how reasonable their prices would be. Usually, when you say "wedding," the price is instantly doubled. But at Le Favorite, we got 300 pieces of dessert for about $300, and were able to put together a treat table that people flocked to. Our assortment included brownies, cream cheese blondies, mini cheesecakes, cupcakes, apple tarts, cream puffs and eclairs. Everything was delicious! I have no complaints at all. And even though our venue was 45 minutes away, Le Favorite delivered for just a $20 fee. The downside to creating your own dessert table is that the vendor won't usually have many trays, but we found a low-cost solution by purchasing really pretty wrapping paper in our wedding colors and wrapping different sized boxes to create our own trays and to give the table some height. read more

NEVER AGAIN. Dont get a cake here if you want it decorated anything like what you wanted. Lafavorite employee even admitted they used to do a better job on custom cakes. Just please don't take the job if you can't perform the duty. Cake was lobsided, crooked, frosting running off the side, a complete embarrassment. Hear from owner through the counter girl they'll give us $10 back, same as last time. NO THANKS, I felt so bad for my daughter, never again. Been here a bunch, always fresh and tasty (including this time) however the decorating was awful. They said come back in an hour and we'll fix it. Came back, a tiny bit better but still very amateurish. We go to cut into the cake at my daughters party and their idea of fixing it was add a ton more frosting on top. It was as thick as the cake. Not the end of the world, just had to scrape it all off. Before leaving they did refund $10 without us asking for it. We would've be n happy to pay their full price for a normal cake instead. read more
