I had a trip planned to meet someone special in the Poconos and I wanted to surprise him for his birthday. I contacted Two Hearts Desserts only just a few days prior and requested a specially-designed cake. I didn't provide any photos of what I wanted, but I knew they would make it happen. Austin even delivered the cake to me! The cake turned out amazing! Not only was he overwhelmingly happy, but the staff and guests at the winery were amazed by it as well. We ordered a large lemon blueberry cake for a friend for his wife 50th . We got in the large line before 11 . We asked for our order and we get a few additional items.. I asked for a bagel and the boys said sorry it's after 11. I said we were in line before that he said no I just can't get a bagel by itself. And then he goes to get the cake when he comes back the writing on the cake looked like a five-year-old wrote it. We just spent $65 on the cake and I'm embarrassed to give it to the family. My husband then asked the manager if she could take a peek and maybe fix it for us. She first said I am sure this it is not a blue lemon and he said yes we special ordered it and when she opened it we were right and she then said well we don't usually write on them. That completely ruined my appetite and immediately made me question the cleanliness and care put into preparing and serving food. Finding something like that is unacceptable and very unsanitary. It made me feel uncomfortable and disappointed because customers should be able to trust that basic hygiene standards are being followed.
