My latte was actually better this day. We also tried some of the baked goods: a slice of pistachio bread (which was a great shade of green) and a slice of almond-poppy seed bread. Good flavor but they were a little dry. I'm assuming it was one of the other owners who waited on us. Again, super friendly (and fast). Some people working, some people socializing, but not crowded or loud. It's in the burbs but feels quiet and plenty of parking. Menu- my almond orange latte was truly life-changing. I will be trying to recreate this at home for sure. Not sweet but lots of flavor. The espresso here is excellent, not sour or bitter, very smooth. The blueberry muffin was truly the best muffin I've had in my life, and I do not say this lightly, I am quite picky about muffins. Fluffy and moist, the blueberries were not mushy. And the jalapeno scones was shockingly good and it was even gluten free. It was more similar to a shortbread in texture, which I preferred over a scone actually. Very buttery and tasty, not spicy if you're sensitive to that. It was $17 for these items, so higher than expected, but spot on for unparalleled quality. Friendly service, and very fast. The breakfast burrito was *very* strange - my husband got the turkey one and it was literally just eggs, potatoes, and turkey lunch meat chunks in a tortilla. Dry, no salsa or anything at all. He said it was quite odd. The baked potato soup was a disgusting snot queso, not soup at all. I actually took it back, I rarely ever do that. The kids didn't like the ham in their lunch able, and I have say, neither did I. Quite disappointing. Come for sweets only I would say.
