I had never been to this salon but had high hopes. Unfortunately the experience was not very good. I booked an appointment a week ahead for any open nail tech for builder gel. I was never offered a drink from their bar. The nail tech did not introduce her self so I do not know her name. She did not clean, soak, or trim my cuticles. She went straight to cutting and filing my nails. She then went straight into painting without cleaning the dust. At the end she put a dot of cuticle oil on me and said I was done. My hands were still covered in nail dust and she did not do any type of hand massage. My nails look fine but I have alot of rough dead skin around them from all the filling without bothering to softer the skin or nail. Very disappointing to pay over $60 and the appointment only to last 30 min. read more

Not a fan of this place any longer and I take my business elsewhere. I've gotten an infection to one of my toes once after visiting. They are consistently late with their appointments (I've waited anywhere from 15-30 minutes past my scheduled time). I don't drink so there's no appeal to the cocktails/alcohol there. read more

While it is very clean inside - their technicians probably need a bit more training. When I said I wanted pink and white acrylic French nails - the young lady started applying pink powder very heavily. When I asked her when she would do the white - she said she would do it with gel polish. Ma'am, that is not pink and white acrylic French nails. She had to start over. Then-- the white was all different thicknesses - and not a single nail looks the way it should - the white is too skinny. I spoke up and she said because I didn't want ombré French this is how it's done - and the cut of white wasn't done prior to the pink being applied. It was done on top and they look horrible. Unfortunately - it seems like the pink and white acrylic is a lost art at every single salon I've been to - because not a single one has a technician that can do it. The acrylic on each nail is all different thicknesses - and this was a brand new set!!! You can see the light under the white when I go outside!! I haven't had acrylic nails in 6 months. And now - I wish I'd done more research and gone to another shop and just driven further. Very disappointing. Not to mention when I asked to speak to someone - the people at the front looked at me like I had a second head. So I paid and left. Avoid if you can. I didn't understand why I had to move. It was then I realized my service was paused because some woman more important than me didn't come on time. I went to Wendy for my manicure. I was so looking forward to getting pampered as I very rarely do anything like this for myself. But she rushed through the service and I was in and out in 1/2 hour. None of us were ever offered a drink. My "manicure" consisted of her cleaning up my nail beds, painting my nails, and a VERY quick lotion application at the end. Honestly I'm very disappointed for what it cost. Again I never do things like this for myself (less than once a year) and had really hoped for more. So I had a bit of a mixed experience here. I arrived in the afternoon and checked in on the iPad, I stood at the front desk looking at some design samples when a couple walked in behind me. Immediately the manager (who ended up doing my nails) greeted them and asked them what they wanted. She then told them to wait a second for her to get situated. The couple asked me if they should check in on the iPad but I told them I wasn't sure because I had not even been acknowledged. Seconds later the manager came back over to grab them and take them back, but the wife immediately told her no and that I was there first. (Ps thank you nice couple!) the manager seemed flustered by this and looked at me a second before telling me to "follow." I sat down in the chair I assumed she was indicating to and she sat down without really saying anything? She asked what I wanted done and I told her just a fill in my nails, they are my natural nails and I do the dip powder on them with regular paint. I've been trying to do dip instead of powder acrylic because it's healthier. She immediately told me no, said something in Vietnamese and then said "lifting"? I told her there is no lifting on my nails, they are not fake nails they are my natural grown and they were literally just a millimeter grown out. She refused to fill them and said she has to remove them?I let this slide because some places are weird about filling in someone else's work for liability reasons so I was fine with it. She removed them quickly and painlessly but then immediately begins to use the brush to apply a new acrylic set. I told her I wanted dip again. She replied in Vietnamese. At this point I was kinda angry, but she was fast and already on my third nail so I decided to let it slide. (I really need to stand up for myself more) She spends about half of my time there attending to other guests as they come in/answering her employees questions, etc. I told her I understand being a manager is hectic, and she was very apologetic but after everything else I was annoyed. I show her a picture of soft pink chrome nails and ask if she can do it. She lets me pick out pink they have a good color selection! She then applies the "chrome" and although it adds a pretty shine to the nails it's not even close to chrome. However at this point I wanted to go home and the overall nails weren't bad! She was quick and detail oriented to things like chunks hanging off the nails, color evenness, etc. but half the nails were crooked at the end as I did coffin shape. She then remembered to offer me a beverage which is a huge thing for this place I guess because they have a whole bar and the first drink is free. I was almost done at this point so just got water. The total: $60. I still tipped $10. (Again I should stand up for myself more) Are they cute? Yes! Are they what I wanted? No. Did I have to file them better when I got home? Yes! These nails are very simple, and her refusing to do a fill or do dip was the most frustrating part. Makes me wonder if she did it because a new set + acrylic is more expensive so she wanted more money? Idk it was bizarre, and I'm annoyed now that my nails are a bit thinner/weaker due to removing product and reapplying. It's a cute establishment but the energy was off for me, not a good first time so I won't be going back especially for the cost not equaling what the service provided. read more

Came in today for the first time to get acrylic removal and a dip powder set, and Quiyana was the sweetest! She was so gentle throughout the whole process. I am very happy with my dip powder nails. Total Fail! Today was my second time going here and both times were a total fail! They don't listen to what you what you explain to them what you would like to have done to/how you like your nails. I said that I liked the length of my nails yet she filed them drilled them way down! I said that I wanted a French Manicure and she put the fattest white tip on!
