ravioli with shrimp, leek, and chorizo
    Sofia Q.

Doesn't look much when you walk by, but I got one of my best abroad meals here!! The ravioli borragine with gambas, leek sauce, and chorizo was absolutely delicious, and I had the best croissant of my life. It was fresh out of the oven and they put them in this cute bucket!! all in all 13/10... will not stop thinking about this meal.

    So cute and tiny

Friendly staff and very comfortable seating. The pasta turns out to be the most popular we are told. So fun here in Èze!

    Freshly baked croissants!

We ate the omelette package breakfasts. The omelettes were fluffy with perfectly melted cheese inside, the orange juice tasted fresh squeezed, and we were lucky enough to "have to wait" for the croissants to come out of the oven. I couldn't savor it enough. Price is reasonable already, very good when you consider the quality of the food. Service was friendly as well.

Food here is fairly good, given how touristy the area is. Prices were also reasonable (most dishes 10-20 euros). I really enjoyed the pizza. And my wife's omelette was not bad either (although not as good as the pizza). Only complaint is that the waiting time was pretty bad. Took forever to get a menu after requesting multiple times. And then another long wait to place an order. And then another to get the food. Not the best if your time at the site is limited. Tip: indoor area has great views of water.

Eze Village on the mountain. You have to experience it in person to fully appreciate its medieval charm, quaintness, dreamland-like feeling, and incomparable views. We loved this place so much, that on our second vacation to France, we made it a special point to see it again. This time around, we had way more time, so we got a chance to relax and enjoy some F&B. The restaurant is located near the south end of the mountain, mixed in among other shops, businesses, and homes. ATMOSPHERE: It's everything you imagine a restaurant to look like and be in an old French village; cobblestone sidewalks, terra cotta-colored planters overflowing with flora, trees with unswept grounds, black wrought iron-framed lighting, a stone facade, wooden shutters, surrounding buildings with dim lights glowing through obscured windows... Straight out of a story book. There's indoor seating and a beautiful outdoor courtyard available. The view!? OMG. Because Eze is perched up high and close to the ocean, the views are magnificent and endless. You peer over neighboring tile roofs, with the Med glistening like a glassy floor. Even nicer than my hometown of Hawaii. While we didn't have a full meal because we had to get back to the ship, we were fortunate enough to have some light fare, in the peaceful courtyard setting on a gorgeous afternoon. FOOD: Minestrone Soup - My spouse ordered this, and dammit I should have too! It was absolutely delish. The spoonful I had was super flavorful in a clean tomato broth, fresh veggies, served piping hot, and on the soupy side as opposed to thick - exactly how a soup should be. Croque Monsieur - Ever since I had this at a small cafe near the Louvre (Café de la Comédie,) I've been addicted. Theirs did not disappoint either. The bread was nicely grilled with gooey cheese and thin slices of ham in the middle. Heaven. SERVICE: Our male server was friendly and he checked on us often as we were the only ones sitting outside. Food service was quick. TIP: Do NOT over stay your welcome in Eze Village. Come 5pm-ish, there were ZERO cabs in the area. Luckily, we successfully pestered a security guard to call one to take us back down to the harbor. Whew! OVERALL: Great food, killer views, maximum quaintness.

High on the hillside in the beautiful old walled city of Eze surrounded by local artisan shops is this marvelous restaurant Le Nid d'Aigle. Simply beautiful, and as soon as you walk inside you can feel the history ooze throughout the restaurant. We enjoyed a delicious brunch, omelette avec pomme frites, pasta carbonara...all tasty and filling. Decent service and the staff accommodated us when we requested a larger table. Extraordinary views...I wanted to stay all day because the weather was perfect. Cobblestone streets and tucked away courtyards make this restaurant a treat to visit. Plan on exploring the grounds and all the terrific shops all easy walking distance. Taking in the views and fresh air...such a refreshing way to enjoy this charming city. Such a lovely visit, it really is a fantastic area and a wonderful way to enjoy the south of France.

    L'Assiette Gourmand - delicious!!

Situated in the gorgeous village of Eze about 500m above sea level, this restaurant is a true gem. After making the trek all the way to the top of the cliff, you walk into Le Nid d'Aigle and instantly all your senses pick up. The small restaurant was jam packed when we arrived around 2:30pm on a Thursday at the end of December but we were very quickly seated and given menus. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and feels like it was frozen in time - cozy atmosphere, amazing smells, people from different countries all gathered in a tight space to feast on delicious food. It was truly the perfect setting for a lunch perched high above the ground. When it came time to order, my husband and I both opted for the Assiette Gourmand - a mixed plate of all the specialties in the area. I can't speak highly enough of this dish - so many items to discover (large portion) with so many varied flavors, it was seriously delicious (and light). All in all, an excellent lunch here. Highly highly recommended!

Amazing food. The pancake made and it's assortment of things on top was Delish. Got the grilled vegetable pizza and added cooked ham to it.

Amazing food. Perfect combination in Asiette Gourmande, best pizza ever (grilled veggies with cooked ham)! Really loved it. Hidden gem in Eze village at entrance of cactus garden.

The food and the service were okay. Honestly, I debated putting 4 stars just because the view from the indoor dining area was amazing. We ate lunch outside after going to look at the view from the top. The staff were friendly and the menu was reasonably priced. I ordered the ham and cheese omelet which came with French fries and salad. The fries were definitely the best part. The omelet was not my favorite, but I must disclose I am a very picky eater and prefer my meat sliced thin, so if you like a thicker cut of ham you might be just fine. My boyfriend got the fish and chips. He found it to be fine, so not memorable but also not unpleasant in any way. It is the perfect location when you are looking for a quick bite with friendly staff. I would have loved to eat with that great view!

We stopped for lunch as the recommendations via yelp were good. It was the worst meal we have had since being in France. The pizza was actually toasted bread. The caesar salad was disgusting! Full of bacon that looked gray, chicken was rubbery, dressing was fishy the small amounts of lettuce were wilted. It was so bad we couldn't eat it. We asked to sit at a table that was in a nicer location but were told it was impossible, which made no sense as the place was quite empty. The attitudes of the servers were poor. I would never recommend this restaurant.

We were lucky and got a table on a whim later Sunday evening. After being seated on the patio at high top table, we actually gasped seeing the view. It's UNREAL. For the entire dinner, it's almost distracting to just keep staring out at the mountains, water and yachts looming down below. Gorgeous. The service matches the hotels 5-star expectations. Super attentive, quick, and friendly. We had drinks to celebrate a proposal and they also brought out some on the house champagne. For dinner, we actually split the blue lobster pasta. It was more than plenty for 2 people. Absolutely delicious. They bring the lobster and pasta out to mix together in front of you and ugh I am still thinking about that dish to this day. Its a hike to get up to this point. Once you reach the gated area, no cars can reach the top. Well worth the challenge to get up and it's such a unique experience. The walk up is all along the hillside and through the little mountain shops. 100% felt like I was in a movie and would love to come back to stay at the hotel. I don't think they couldn't created a better experience here between the food, menu, view, and service... I wouldn't change a thing.

I was sooo looking forward to dining here, but unfortunately, I was left with cheese on my face (sorry no eggs here, only cheese, cheese, and more cheese). We arrived a bit early for our reservation (15-20 minutes), but we were seated immediately, which was nice; the table was stuffed into a corner, but at least we were seated. Unfortunately, that was about where the niceness ended. The restaurant is supposed to be housed in a former cheese cave, which I thought would be exciting and romantic, instead it was just hot and cramped. This is one of those restaurants that tries to accommodate as many diners as possible, so we were basically eating right on top of another couple (who were incredibly displeased, even stating, "this service is abysmal"). We could literally hear every word spoken up to two tables away, so don't expect to have any privacy, except from the servers that is. Service was unpleasant and extremely minimal. Our server took our food and drink order, delivered our drinks, another server apologized for the delay in receiving our meal, and our original server delivered our meal...and that was it. They didn't refill our water bottle, ask if I wanted another glass of wine, stop by to see if we liked our meal -or needed else (which we did), or even bring a check. After waiting too long for our check, table full of finished plates and empty cups, we eventually just got up and headed upstairs. Apparently you're supposed to head upstairs to pay, but we'd have never known since our server was doing they're best David Copperfield impression. Now for the food. The kitchen was tiny tiny, so it's no wonder the menu consists of cheese for the starter, cheese for the entree, and cheese for dessert. Sprinkled in-between the assortment of cheeses was a steak masquerading on the menu as "Aubrac Bib", whatever that means, and the Tartiflette, think pork belly scalloped potatoes and the only thing you should order here. The Tartiflette was microwave-lunch small, but it was hot, rich, and pretty meaty for the size. I got the Camembert (takes 30 minutes) and it was pretty awful as a meal. It's not even really a dish. They literally opened up the wooden wheel of cheese, peeled back the paper, sprinkled a few things on top, then baked for 30 minutes, so it was more of just a cheese dish. It arrived-paper still covering the top, and was served with some under-seasoned fingerling potatoes and a salad. The salad was good and potatoes were okay, but the cheese was so one-note, it needed meat or veggies to dip in it. Unfortunately, I only had the few potatoes and two small bits of baguette to dunk, so my only option was to eat it like soup, which I did not-so half remained wasted and uneaten. We would have liked to have eaten dessert, but after the poor meal, and lack of even offering dessert, "How could we?". I'm giving 2 stars for the Tartiflette because it was delicious. I would not return and DO NOT RECOMMEND.

While staying in Nice, France, my husband surprised me with a driver and reservations at Les Remparts at the Château de la Chèvre d'Or for lunch. The grounds are incredible and out of a movie. Both were delicious but I really enjoyed the prawns. They were huge and crunchy. I had the Dauradeen filet, poireau rôti au feu de bois, câpres et citron (sea brim) as my entree. The fish was fresh and the sauce perfectly complimented the dish. My husband enjoyed Poulpe rôti,tomate à la niçoise, eau de tomate épicée (roasted octopus). It was not a combination he had ever tried and really enjoyed it. When you walk to your seat you will pass a large case full of beautiful desserts. I chose the fig pastry and my husband chose the chocolate mousse. Both we indulgent yet not too sweet. The perfect ending to a perfect lunch. The service was attentive but not overwhelming. In addition we were not rushed through our meal. If you ever get the chance to visit Nice, look into visiting the seaside town of Eze and an treat yourself to a memorable meal by the sea.
