This was our first visit to this small restaurant located in a bungalow in a residential neighborhood in Logan. It's an inviting space and the rooms open to a small garden with tables. The evening we were there, a jazz guitarist performed and was very good! My husband and I shared the special of the evening which was a lightly breaded chicken breast with a mozzarella topping and a tomato sauce with capers. There were roasted potatoes and broccoli on the side. It was ample food for both of us, and perfectly seasoned. We ended the meal with profiteroles, which were filled with whipped cream and topped with a chocolate sauce. Perfect! The coffee was excellent as well. Definitely will return! read more

Came here for my son's birthday. So pleasant looking and charming from the outside but quickly changed when we stepped inside. I wondered if this was an Italian restaurant or a chuck a Rama just by the decor. We sat at two tables put together and the tables height didn't match which caused some logistical problems for the people sitting in the middle. We placed our order and the food came out timely. I ordered a pear salad with the dressing on the side. Our waitress brought out my salad and informed me that my salad was made wrong and the dressing was included. And she sat it down in front me. As if, she had admitted to her mistake and that was the end of it. I was not impressed. This is not fine dining. You don't bring out the wrong menu item and expect the customer to be ok with it. Our pasta and chicken dishes were mediocre. We spent $250. At the end of the email, our family decided that it lacked flavor, quality, and the restaurant vibe was awful. We would have eaten at Olive Garden instead. Sad. Sorry, no good reviews here. read more

My fiancé and I took our parents to Le Nonne to introduce our parents to each other a couple weeks ago. The service was excellent, multiple wait staff brought bread, filled waters, etc. I'm not a pasta person, and was a little disappointed with non-pasta menu options. I got the sweet potato ricotta ravioli because I wanted to try the house made noodles. They were good, but a little sweet so I took half home. Everyone else was super satisfied. My stepmom texted me a few days later and said she and my dad were still talking about the great food. This restaurant is so stinking cute!! It's in this cute little house that they converted into dining areas -in and outside- and have the cutest setting. We sat outside. If I could give this restaurant 6 stars I would. This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Utah. Everything is delicious and I am certain I have tried everything on the menu at least once, but now when I come back I have a favorite that I cannot resist. My most favorite Italian restaurant in the state! I have loved everything I've eaten there. I can't remember any of the dishes names but the one I like has penne tomato sauce onions and bacon. Best restaurant in Logan, no competition. The ambience is great - small and cozy, if the weather is good definitely sit outside, they have a beautiful patio. The service every time I've been has been great, and the food - oh my gosh, amazing Italian food. I've been to Italy and this food was 100% authentic and delicious. Have been coming here since it was the Center Street, Yellow House, Grapevine, and now Le Nonne (40 years). Rarely disappointed. Pierre, Stephanie, Ciara and the others go out of their way to make the atmosphere enjoyable. Sid Perkes' paintings add to the pleasure. Recommend the rosemary salmon. read more

For logan utah, it's fantastic! In general, it's good. I can't guarantee everything to be good on their menu, but the many things that are good, are really good. Good place for a night out, nice atmosphere, and service, but not a place for kids. read more

The only disappointment I've had is not being able to eat here more often because of my student budget. *caveat: unless you REALLY like meat, I highly recommend getting pasta or gnocchi rather than a meat dish; the portion sizes are much more acceptable for the price point. Visit La Nonne quite often because the food is pretty darned good - love the tapenade too and think their Tiramasu is fantastic. Usually settle on Chicken Limone which I really enjoy - hubby often has special of the day and hasn't been disappointed. On the down side I do wish they would serve something other than broccoli as the side - it is ALWAYS the vegetable of the day. And recently the music was so loud that conversation was very difficult (a couple of days ago when a 4-piece combo were playing). While the ambience is very nice and our service was good the food was just fair and definitely not worth the price. The caesar salad was bland and limp. My husband had the pasta with broccoli and chicken and the sauce was very thin and not very flavorful. My ravioli with crab and ricotta was so smothered in a heavy cream sauce that it was impossible to really taste the crab. The other couple we were with had fish pasta and it was better than ours. We were a table of 6 and they brought out a small basket that was gone in seconds. Refill? They CHARGE YOU. "Our bread is very expensive so we have to charge." Honestly, I do not understand the hype around this place. The food was barely edible. Without exaggeration, the best part of the meal was the bread and, even there, I have had much better. My wife had a meal that included mussels and she did not like them at all. She gave me one to try and I nearly spit it out. Our waitress was very nice and good at her job. The hostess let people cut and then laughed about it when we let her know. I would absolutely never go back there. We paid $40 bucks for two people and I feel like I've had better meals for $5. read more

This is a Tuscan/Italian Restaurant in Historic downtown Logan. If you haven't been there I highly recommend it. I had the Penne Salcicia w/ a Tomato sauce. It was very flavorful and delicious. The portions are perfect for someone that comes with an appetite. One member of our party had the Salmon Farfalle and let me say I wish I would have got that. Everybody in the party was very happy with their meal. I also tried Carpacio (sp)? It was a lot better than I thought it would be. The environment is very nice. There was a live band that I believe is there most nights and the music really added to the amazing ambiance. The menu is on the pricey side for Logan ranging from the mid teens to low thirties but it is worth it. It is a great place for a memorable date such as an anniversary celebration. read more

One of our favorites in town. Great food, service is quite good - friendly without being too familiar, formal without being snotty - and a place where the wait staff remembers you and your order. Location and decor are nice. I get the penne with arrabiata or angel hair with vegetables. My wife loves the gnocchi and ravioli. Prices are quite reasonable, especially for the pasta dishes. We don't order meat but I think that does get to be a little more here. Only thing keeping this from 5 stars is the menu never varies and for me personally I could use a bit more creativity in vegan options or improvisation from the kitchen - but what they have is absolutely fantastic. read more

Very cute with pretty good food. However, there is no way that 'Le Nonne rivals anything you'd find in the big "foot centers"...' Don't get me wrong, I had a good dinner, my food was rich, tasty, and lacking in subtlety. Doesn't compare with your average dinner in Rome or Tuscany, but give me a break, this is Logan Utah. So, enjoy your dinner, and if you can't distinguish it from a Michelin Star experience then your wallet will thank you. read more

The bf took me here on our Valentine's Day date. This is one of the cutest places I've been in Logan. The restaurant building itself is this small remodeled house. It has 2 main dining areas and maybe a total of 15 tables tops. The night started with a drink menu where there were a few reds and whites to choose from. Once we decided on wine it was time to look over the dinner menu. It is a small menu and has all the basics one would need at an Italian restaurant. We decided against appetizers since we saw that there was complementary bread and tapenade. The bread was great- crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. We decided on the penne arribiatta and gnocchi with pesto. Wow! It has been a long time since I've had perfectly aldentè pasta outside of my own home. The penne was perfectly spiced and didn't need anything added to it. The pesto wasn't overpowered by garlic or oil. I loved how creamy it was! Overall the food was great and so were the portion sizes! We ate half and will definitely be having leftovers at work. This place is a win in my book with taste, portion and price. The thing that wrapped everything up with a bow for me was the single red rose they gave me at the end of dinner! Happy Valentine's Day indeed! read more
