My husband and I have had excellent experiences with Romos and it is now in our regular date night rotation. The steak kebabs and lemon rice are some of my favorite dishes! They seem a little under staffed, but our food has always come out at a reasonable time. Don't spend too much time checking out the menu. Based on previous reviews and our experience here, you'll get what they bring you, not what you order. We ordered 2 cokes to drink but got a coke and a water. Then I ordered lemon rice as my side but somehow got fries instead. The food was ok but nothing mind blowing. I did try my husband's rice since I didn't get mine and it was pretty bland and stale. Definitely won't be back. read more

The food was great and I was very happy with it. I ordered the falafel wrap with fries. The falafel was very good, and the fries were a really crispy battered fry. Our waitress was very sweet and got us waters right away. The restaurant played instrumental versions of popular songs, which was fun. The reason I give them 3 stars was the almost unbelievable wait time. We came in on a Friday night, the restaurant was well-attended but not crowded at all. We waited 50 minutes from ordering to get our food. The waitress apologized and said it was because a big table came in right before us. The "big" table was a party of 8 people, not some giant banquet. She was kind and it was clear she felt bad and wasn't to blame, but it was crazy to me that it took so long, especially with how simple our orders were. I'm willing to give this place another try next time I'm in the area, but not if I'm in any sort of rush. read more

This place is underrated and overlooked. It's really delicious and fresh. I got the lemon chicken bowl which included a mix of lemon and Persian rice, fresh greens, and tzatziki sauce. Stopped in for a quick lunch on a weekday afternoon. Not a soul inside, so were greeted and sat promptly. Suzanne was our server and she was just ok. I ordered the chicken sharma pita and when my meal wasn't made correctly (despite asking for no cheese or tomatoes) it was quickly fixed but the server didn't apologize or seem too concerned. My meal wasn't anything close to Greek. It tasted like Indian which was weird. The spice was nice tho. We visited Romo's while driving through Logan and found this to be quite the hidden gem! We had called ahead and made a reservation and we seated immediately on arrival. Have I had better Mediterranean food? Yes, but given this small town, Romos pleasantly surprised me with the menu options. A must try- the garlic fries! The kids had a number of options in appropriate kids' sized portions. We tried the burger, wraps, platters and were excited about how they had great vegetarian options as well. Thoroughly enjoyed an impromptu lunch with husband. We made sure to step outside our comfort zone and were not disappointed. Started with the homemade artichoke dip with fried pita triangles. Actual spinach leaves and artichoke in it. VERY rich but tasty. I chose the lamb gyro with lemon rice and husband chose a platter with 2 chicken kabobs and beef schwarma, Persian rice and red pepper hummus. It was evident the tzatziki sauce and the hummus were homemade- better flavor and texture on both. Shared everything and decided we like the Persian rice better than the lemon rice. We showed up around 1 and there were only a couple others there. It still took almost 30 minutes to get out food. We ordered a gyro, and two of the signature burgers. The burgers were so dry. There was no sauce and the meat was dry. One of the worst burgers we have had. The gyro meat was very good, but the pita was so thick and again dry. The one thing that they got right was the fries. We had a couple different varieties of fries and both were excellent. Definitely ask for fry sauce because that is also very good. Just went there for lunch with a friend who loved this place. Ordered the spinach artichoke dip for our appetizer and the lemon chicken kabobs for our entree. When the appetizer came out the vegetables were browning and floppy. The dip was warm on top but cold further down. When our entree came out the chicken was still raw. Our waitress took the plate back and a couple minutes later the manager came back out and placed the plate down and apologized. We said it was ok and he said, no, it's not. When we looked at the chicken again it was still undercooked. We could not eat it. When we mentioned it to the waitress the manager returned and said "what's the matter now" in a very rude voice. We said that we felt it was still undercooked. He said "I beg to differ" as he picked up the piece of chicken, squeezed it, and threw it back on the plate. He then grabbed all of the plates on our table and said "lunch is on me, goodbye ladies" and stormed off. He was so rude. Horrible customer service. Seated quickly. Cute, older restaurant. Ordered spinach dip to start. Veggies served with it were browning and squishy (celery and carrots). The dip was mildly warm with a cool bottom. When the entree came it was clearly undercooked. The chicken was pink and slimy. We asked for it to be cooked more thoroughly. It was returned shortly after by a very rude manager. The sides were now missing from the plate. We mentioned this and he said we will being more but it will cost extra. (This was confusing since we didn't eat the sides that were supposed to be included!) When we looked at the chicken it was still pink but also had been picked apart. At this point we were pretty grossed out. The server asked if we just wanted our check. We said yes, but we would like to return the (still raw) chicken dish. She questioned why, and I said "we don't want to pay for something that is inedible". She went to get the manager. He returned to the table and said "what's wrong now?" We told him the chicken was still undercooked. He picked up a piece and rudely squished it in front of us, threw it on the plate and said "I disagree, but I won't argue with you." He cleared all the plates and said, "lunch is on me. Goodbye." Hands down the worst customer service EVER!! And the food was horrible. This used to be my favorite place. read more

Stopped in to try Romo's. They have great tasting fries. They fry them twice and on the final fry they have a thin batter. I started the meal with the loaded fries. It had their yummy fries, cheese and gyro meat. Their menu offers flexibility to order a platter. We went with the chicken schwarma and steak kabobs. This is a plate with lots of flavor served with ranch, tzaki and fry sauce. The service was on the lacking side. Next time in town I will make a stop here for lunch. read more

Being from Salt Lake with family in Logan, I've learned that this 'small town' is pretty much the BEST kept secret for some of the most incredible food experiences you'll find anywhere in Utah, and the greater 50 states. This is Salt Lake behavior, not the laid-back Logan I'm used to. (Turned out the local Highschool Dance was killing my foodie buzz) Driving from one end of town to the other, then back again, Romo's Mediterranean Grill was the only lot with spaces to park, so I made an executive decision and staked my claim. This was my hubby's and I first time here and it was AMAZING!! Our server (we didn't get her name) but the one with the glasses was soooo sweet and made our experience wonderful. The food was amazing. I got the platter with shrimp & chicken kabobs and the shrimp was soo fresh and juicy and with a side of red pepper hummus with a Greek salad was a 10/10. My hubby got the beef shawarma wrap with pita bread with a side of garlic fries. See also shared the fried pickles (I'm a huge pickle fan so these were soooo good) and my hubby got the loaded fries with chicken and left NO CRUMBS. It's basically meat marinated in Mediterranean seasoning it's so flavorful and delicious. They serve a raspberry keto cheesecake. Great Mediterranean food, tasted absolutely elegant with how savory it was, the perfect compliment to eating after a long drive. What's even more surprising is that we found this restaurant on complete accident, while looking for a quick bite to grab on our way north to Bear Lake. A pretty good not-so-hidden gem. We weren't difficult (I don't hope so anyways) but the restaurant staff were able to roll with all of our questions and accommodate all the reasonable requests we made. It was a light day, but the waitstaff was sure to ensure we had enough strawberry lemonade (which was quite tasty) as we ate our schwarma and falafel meal. I ordered the King Romonator, a lamb burger with a mountain on top, and it was tremendous. I thought I was only going to eat half because it was so large but ended up devouring the whole burger. When ordering at the counter the staff was very informative as well! If you have never had Mediterranean food this is a great place to start.
