Service was very good and efficient. We came twice during our trip here. I had the lobster Benedict, which was excellent except the cinnamon apples that came with it was a little bit of a peculiar pairing. The next day I had the lobster omelette, which was excellent. We went pretty early on a Saturday and there was no line (but it gets busier later in the morning). I had a Salmon Benedict, which was delicious. The kids meal portions were pretty big, and my kids loved it. They also appreciated the kid's menu/crayons. I had a chai tea latte which was good as well. The food came out quickly, service was good, it was affordable, and the owner came out for a chat as well, which was nice. This place is so quaint. The moment you park and start to walk in, your greeted by a huge rooster and you know what you're getting. Inside has this light country/ chique atmosphere and it was bustling. They stayed covid friendly throughout the entire restaurant and the staff all were very nice. Even the owner would come around and talk to his patrons. Ok, the food... They have a huge selection and it was hard to pick which one to try. I chose the Mini Greek Goddess Omelet and that omelet is under 400 calories (can't be beat)! Now, it comes with an English muffin and home potatoes so I'm sure my calories were more, but who cares. They really got their potatoes down. They were well seasoned and really crispy. The omelet had the salty Kalamata olives, spinach feta cheese and artichoke. All perfectly combined to make the best flavor explosion in your mouth. My friend got the Eggs Benedict and I had a few bites. That was good too. The hollandaise sauce was well made, eggs were runny, ham gave you that extra texture and flavor and the English muffin provided the chewiness. Everything they presented us was well placed. We got the Bloody Mary's too. they were good, but missing something; however, for the price, it hit the spot. Overall, a great place to visit. My family dined in for labor day. The restaurant was busy, and we expected some delays for our food. However, we waited one whole hour for the food to come out, our waitress checked in only one time during the entire time we were waiting. I actually had to go up to the hostess to request a coffee refill because our waitress was nowhere to be found for an hour. The food, when it finally came out, tasted like it had been sitting for 20 minutes prior to getting to us. Kids meal came with waffle fries that were so hard that an adult could barely bite into it. Other menu items like the avocado toast were far below expectations. Honestly could've made a better one at home. Wait was 2 hours long. Put our names on the list, took an hour to get in and an hour to get our food. Not that great of an experience. Got the French toast and biscuits and gravy. LePeep was a very pleasant surprise on a late Saturday morning, grabbing brunch without too much of a wait at the bar, super friendly service, super fresh food, and the right balance of flavor and spice for just about everything. The gooey buns though, those are a really disappointing plate. why you put something that's like a deconstructed cinnamon roll right next to an actual cinnamon roll and then have it taste worse is baffling to me. Still a good stop. We've been going to Le Peep for years and it's never disappointed. They have a diverse menu and even a separate gluten free menu. Their pancake of the month is always worth getting, and while their goetta is a thicker patty than what I typically like, someone it works for them. Their home fries and always perfectly cooked. We drove by this place in the evening for years. They are only open for breakfast brunch and lunch so we kept missing them. Finally got up early on a Sunday to go there to try the place. It was packed. It's family owned. I met the father of the owner and the owner was cleaning the bottoms of the chairs when we came in. It's nice to see owners on site, actually working and cleaning at that. The servers were all friendly and attentive. I got the chicken fried chicken with biscuit gravy. Outstanding. This seems like more of a breakfast place but Buck's Tavern across the road was unexpectedly closed on the holiday weekend, so we wound up here at lunch time. I ordered a bowl of vegetable beef soup. They brought a cup and told me "that's all we have." Well, OK. My wife got a burger that she said was OK, but nothing to write home about and a side salad that oddly didn't come with tomato. I had the triple decker sandwich which was similar to a BLT with mozzarella and avocado. It was a little different and I liked it. Iced tea to drink that was a little weak. Service was marginally OK. I was pretty impressed with this breakfast brunchy place nestled in a small strip mall of Landen/Loveland. We went on a weekday around lunchtime and although very busy, we were seated in a reasonable amount of time. The inside is very country casual and bright. The menu is huge and additionally they have seasonal menu items that rotate. A lot of stuff is healthy-ish! There are breakfast, brunch, and lunch options and they do offer cocktails. There is a cute coffee/cocktail bar that you can choose to sit at separately or have your server bring them to the table. Our particular server was great, and the owner also came over to check on us! I got the harvest benedict with a side of goetta. It was one of the best benedicts I've had in a long time! My friend got the seasonal bananas foster oatmeal and said it was very good. The portions are large! My only complaint was my fresh squeezed orange juice didn't taste like fresh usually does. Not sure i'd get that again.
