Not good. We went on a Saturday morning and this place was very busy, which I mistook as a good sign. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon. Which is hard to mess up. We'll, they did. The "avocado" was the lightest layer imaginable. The salmon was cooked not smoked. It's breakfast. Who has cooked unseasoned salmon for breakfast!?!? Gross. It was also off and overly fishy tasting. The best thing about this place is the owner. Every time we're there he comes to the table (everyone's table) to check how things are. He truly cares and wants feedback. Being such a delicious place with little competition on the area, there is often a wait. But get on the waitlist in the Yelp app before you walk out the door and you'll be rewarded with great service, solid food, and a warm atmosphere. Classic, good breakfast food. My wife and I have been to Le Peep about a half dozen times and always come away very underwhelmed. Our visit yesterday was no exception. I want to make it clear: I can't think of an instance where anyone from the staff hasn't been kind or helpful. The reason for always feeling underwhelmed simply comes from the correlation of the price x serving size x quality of the food. The pictured meal was $9.50 and came displayed as is. That little, tiny mostly brown chuck in the 11 o'clock spot is a piece of salmon that was maybe 2 oz. if I'm being generous. The veggies were a tad dry and kind of laughable. Finally, the cream cheese was plenty (to make up for the lack of salmon I guess) and the bagel was a smidge above room temperature. Put name on waiting list and quoted 3 hour wait, which was expected for Mother's Day. Tracked it entire time and then received notification stating we would be seated about an hour ahead of time, which was perfect for our plans. Arrived and then had to wait approximately 2 hours to sit and about an hour for breakfast food. No attempt to correct or offer anything from management will definitely persuade us to go to other establishments going forward!!! Food was mediocre upon arrival, since the work staff was more interested in eating the pizza ordered for them (they should have received something, but horrible look for employees to be eating pizza in open while others are waiting on food to arrive at their tables!!!! read more

Breakfast in Cincinnati was delicious this morning ! Nick started with a nice tall latte. Our Breakfast options were a Baja eggs bene for Nick and I went with the naked burrito. The Baja Benedict -Start California dreaming with a parmesan toasted english muffin topped with turkey, crisp bacon, sliced avocado and tomato. Add 2 poached eggs. Covered in hollandaise and a sprinkle of paprika. The eggs on Nick's bene were cooked absolutely perfectly! I could tell as our server sat down his plate they were just like he ordered. Naked Burrito -Start with an omelet rolled to look like a burrito minus the tortilla. It was filled with onions, green chilies, hash browns and I selected bacon for the meat. It was then smothered with their homemade pork and green chile sauce. They also add cheese sour cream and will add green onion, but I left those off. The plate isn't the prettiest presentation I've ever seen but it was delicious! I would come back here again just for this "burrito". Their pork and chile sauce takes it to another level. read more

This was amazing! Can't believe we've never been here before, but will definitely count the days until we return! Short wait at 9:30 Sunday, but by 10:00 the line was literally out the door. The atmosphere was amazing, warm and cozy but not cramped. Very modern farmhouse with a huge menu of favorites. The food and service were both exceptional! The caramel Macchiato was superb; pancakes nice and fluffy. My son said the biscuits and gravy was the best he's ever had. Amazing texture on the biscuit, almost cupcake like. Highly recommend. Service was fine; lots of things to choose from on the menu for the majority of customers. We went for breakfast and my husband liked his lumberjack breakfast 3/5; I had the avacado toast (without the eggs) and a fruit bowl 3/5- they were fine; nothing special. We have been here several times (before I switched to a plant based/vegan diet a year ago). For a place that specializes in breakfast food; It would NOT be difficult to offer a warm vegan dish (ie tofu/tofu scramble; vegan cheese) to many items but I have learned to set my expectations low if I eat out with this lifestyle change. There are other restaurants that do offer vegan options . I hope le peep will up their game with a vegan options . A non dairy coffee creamer would also be nice...I brought my own nut pod creamer for my coffee as I knew it was unlikely to have an option there- I think they had almond milk but I wanted an unsweetened version which they didn't have. We enjoyed the Benedict, the Spinnaker (spinach, bacon, mushroom) lots of breakfast potato's -chunk style. Would have liked if they were crispier but that's a personal preference. Service was top notch too. We got on Yelp wait list and I'm glad we did. People all over the place trying to get in and waiting a long time. They were quoting 55 minutes to anyone that asked. We had a 45 minute wait - which they told us it would be. The vibe is very relaxed. Great service. We got Proseccos, iced coffee and hot tea to drink. For brunch we had the mini veggie omelette with an English muffin and potatoes - it was a perfect size and all of the veggies were fresh. As a nice addition to the English muffin they had Orange marmalade. Yum! My husband had a made to order egg white omelette- it was a good portion and he cleaned his entire plate. I was treated here on a random Tuesday morning. We both had never been but had always heard great things about the food and let me tell you it did not disappoint! We came in around 720am and the place was empty. It did take them a moment to notice us but I totally understood -- it's a Tuesday and they just opened 20 minutes ago -- who comes this early on a weekday(haha). Once we were seated a vase (I'm having a brainfart on the proper name) of water was brought out and we were asked for our drink preference, we both planned to sleep after eating, so we stuck with water. We then looked at the menu. They have a large selection ranging from your pancakes, to omletes, to burritos, and of course eggs Benedicts. I ended up going with the classic le peep eggs benedict and it was very good. The hollandaise sauce was rich and creamy, the eggs were cooked perfect, and the English muffin soaked it all up. Also the apples and potatoes were both great. I was confused about the lettuce and tomato though. She ended up getting the country fried steak which she mentioned was amazing and among one of her favorites shes had. She also said her eggs were cooked perfectly and she really enjoyed the potatoes as well. It was her idea for this 5* review. We look forward to coming back. Maybe for a mimosa next time. Also, price wise it was maybe a dollar more than some places of similar atomosphere/quality but nice portions and good quality food. read more
