Haven't been up here in a while. This little place is really cool, and right along the bike trail.

I've been to Paxton's a couple of times. Once, for dinner with a lively crowd watching football. Then went back for breakfast on a weekend to celebrate my daughter's birthday and we sat outside on the quiet patio. It almost seemed like two different places. Both times we had a nice time, the food was good and the waitstaff was attentive. If you do go for breakfast, split the mimosa flight with someone! Yummy!

3.5 starts if we could give it. The atmosphere is nice, tables were a little dirty tho. We were greeted with a nice server and she got our drinks and orders in happily. Food came out quick and hot, I got the bowl, pretty good flavor 14 was kind of a lot for not a whole lot of food. Gf got the burger and she loved it, for 5 dollars would definitely recommend.

We were in the Loveland area looking for a last minute dinner, my dad remembered Paxton's from another time and we happened to be right around the corner. Sat down right away, had a lovely waitress, Sheryl, who my dad said she mentioned it was her first day, I would have never guessed! She was great. Drinks, appetizer, and food all came out super quick and was delicious. Perfect place for a casual sit down meal in beautiful historic Loveland. Had March madness on the TVs, there were families, young adults, old adults, and friendly staff. Definitely will come back if we're in the area again!

Good food and great service! I had lunch with my daughter here today and we both thought it was great. Since we were starving we decided on an appetizer of Chips and Salsa. The pico de gallo was delicious and the chips were warm and crispy. We both really enjoyed it. My daughter picked the Grilled Chicken sandwich with fries for her side. I chose the Fish Sandwich with coleslaw for my side. My daughter thought her sandwich was delicious and she said the fries were really good too. My fish was just a tad overcooked but not so much so that I didn't enjoy it. The service was awesome! Friendly and quick.

Went in for the chicken tonight. They were overcooked and hard. Kind of dry. I had a glass of water and it was nasty tasting. I had to get iced tea instead. The chicken tasted like the frozen Tyson ones you can get from the grocery. If I wanted that, I would have fixed some I have in the freezer. Don't recommend the chicken tenders.

I've enjoyed Paxton's Grill over the years. It really is a staple for downtown Loveland. While I have dined inside in the past and had good service, most recently ive placed orders for take out. The take out situation during 2020 is very convenient. Order online, pay, and receive an estimated time it will be ready. Of course you can still call in your order if you prefer. There are reserved parking spaces to the left of the building specifically for take out. A hostess is stationed right at the entrance, just inside the now enclosed patio. All you have to do is give your name and she will grab your order! While everything ive had here is delicious, I highly recommend the Cobb Salad with chicken. The portion size is generous and full of fresh ingredients! No skimpy toppings here. The grilled chicken was nicely marinated and had a great charred taste while still being tender. It was thoughtfully packaged in a separate container from the salad since it was piping hot. The honey mustard dressing is so good I could drink it! Another great thing here is their strong burger game! My favorite is the mushroom swiss burger and then add all the traditional toppings such as lettuce tomato and onion. When I ask for medium they actually cook it to perfection. The waffle fries on the side are a must have. Keep an eye out for when they do burger specials as those are really yummy and unique too! Those along with daily specials can be found on their social media. Prices are reasonable.

I've only been to Paxton's twice - once years ago before the fire and recently I ordered takeout from them. I wasn't blown away the first time, but this recent time was fantastic. Their take out situation right now is excellent. The timing is spot on, lots of spaces to park, and they bring out your food super quick. Hands down one of the best take out experiences I've had during the pandemic. The biggest takeaway for me was that our food was still piping hot when we got home. The chicken philly panini was good, but not great. The Santa Fe Turkey sandwich was fantastic. Lots of flavor especially for turkey and fresh toppings. If you read nothing else from this review - read this: Their waffle fries are worth a visit alone. Crispy, hot, perfect amount of thickness, and bursting with flavor.

My Mom took me to dinner here back on a Wednesday in September. It was about the same as I remember it and fairly busy with a mix of everyone from professionals to annoying teens. The service was great. She was very attentive, kind, and she was great at her job. She was able to recommend me on the Cubano Panani which turned out to be alright. Going on to the food... I forget what my Mom ended up getting but she enjoyed it but didnt rave about it. As I mentioneded I ended up selecting the Cuban which was alright. I guess I'm just use to the bread being different and having more of a flat crust... also I didn't taste any mustard but idk could have just been me. The atmosphere is always pretty fun here and the place brought back memories which is why I'm giving it 4*. The food atleast on that visit was 3*. Would come back and grab a beer and try something different next time.

Food was very good and service was excellent. It was crowded at noon on a weekday day but we were able to get seated immediately.

From the moment I walked in, I knew this wasn't your average breakfast joint. Their {unique-feature} - let's call it the palpable sense of genuine Southern hospitality mixed with a modern, quirky vibe - immediately sets the stage. It's like your cool grandma's kitchen, but with better coffee (more on that later!). But let's talk about the star of the show: the Biscuits n' Gravy. Oh. My. Goodness. Forget everything you think you know about this Southern staple. This was next-level comfort food. The biscuit itself was perfectly fluffy on the inside, slightly crisp on the outside, and had that subtle buttermilk tang that just makes your soul sing. And the gravy? Forget the bland, floury stuff you get at some places. This was a country gravy, rich, savory, and clearly made with love. The flavors were so spot-on, so perfectly balanced, that when the manager asked how I was enjoying my meal, I practically gushed about the flavor profile! He proudly explained that they make it fresh, on-site, every single day. Amazing. Seriously, I even asked for more gravy (and I'm not ashamed!). The chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy. The welcoming atmosphere is the real deal. It's not just about saying "hello"; it's about making you feel like you're part of the Maple Street family. It's the kind of place where you instantly relax and feel comfortable lingering over your coffee (which, by the way, they have a whole coffee bar with assorted flavors!). The excellent service just seals the deal. From the friendly cashier to the attentive staff refilling my coffee, everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there and eager to make my experience a great one. The manager, especially, was incredibly nice and clearly takes pride in his team and the food they're serving. It's clear they've cultivated a positive and supportive work environment, and that translates directly into the customer experience. For the price, Maple Street Biscuit Company is an absolute steal. Whether you're a couple looking for a cozy brunch spot, a family needing a satisfying and affordable meal, or a die-hard food enthusiast searching for the perfect biscuit, this place delivers. Trust me, folks, this isn't just breakfast; it's an experience. Go. Now. You won't regret it.

All in all a good experience and meal. I got the Retro Breakfast (eggs, biscuits, has browns, and…read morebacon) with the spicy sausage gravy and a cold brew with cold foam. The coffee was delightful. A little sweeter than I anticipated, but it wasn't overwhelming at all. The meal was solid and was delivered to the table quickly. While the biscuit was biscuiting, I've gotta give five gold stars to the spicy sausage gravy. I doubt it's made in-house, but it definitely tasted homemade! As a bonus, they brought out complimentary Bonuts to our table... Initially we had no idea what we were eating... but we finished them, which should tell ya' they were delish.

Busy place with good food! Adds 3% if you pay with a credit (not a debit) card…read more We got here without a reservation on a Monday around noon (May 2026). While they were busy, we didnt have to wait long for a booth. Our server quickly offered strong hot $4 coffee and a personal teapot to brew our $4 Earl Grey. There were season recipes available, but we found what we wanted on the regular menu. $10 Eggs As You Wish gave us two over-easy eggs, super-crispy hash brown sticks, our choice of slightly-sweet whole grain toast, and a $4 add-on of a savory oatey local pork-beef hash called goetta, much like Maryland's corn-based scrapple. We had more good old breakfast food: a $12 stack of fluffy buttermilk pancakes with whipped butter, light powdered sugar, a maple syrup, with a side of goetta included. Both were breakfasts that were a perfect traditional balance of flavor and texture. We had luscious $14 Smoked Salmon Toast on richly-flavored multigrain toast, made into a crunchy fresh sandwich with caper-dotted cream cheese, crisp cucumber slices, sliced red onion, and tasty microgreens. And we went vegetarian with $11.50 Vegetable multigrain Toast: creamy avocado, thick ripe tomato, pickled red onion, fresh cucumber, thin radish slices, and microgreens All of the food was delicious and creative, and that includes the tasty well-crafted vegetarian offerings. Prices were quite reasonable. The staff was welcoming and attentive. We ate at a leisurely pace with generous coffee refills, and never felt rushed. We envied those who thought to ask for patio-seating. They do add 3% to credit-card payments (not to debit-cards), which is posted so you know ahead of time. My only advice is to ask for a table if you find that a booth can feel a little tight. (Me :-). We loved our visit here!
