First, let me point out that I ordered online, which was simple and convenient, and got brunch takeout. So, getting it back to the hotel certainly affected the quality of the food. That said, I could tell that if I were to have dined in, I would have been very satisfied. I got a skillet and my son got the breakfast burrito. While I found my portion to be smaller than most other skillets I've had from other places (not necessarily a complaint ), my son found the burrito on the larger side. I stayed outside while said son went in and got the food. He had no comment about his experience The place looked pretty big from my vantage point, as well as clean and well kept. Our first time at Le Peep. Busy breakfast place. I used the wait list and was seated immediately. We had the last parking space in the lot! The restaurant was busy and noisy with happy customers all around. I had the Hen Pen with corned beef. I thought the corned beef tasted a little starchy. The eggs, potatoes and English muffin were excellent. My husband's biscuit sandwich was great. He said it was one of the best he's had. The menu is large with many choices. I grew up in the area and was in the neighborhood; so I had to go but I had my dog with me. I called ahead to see if dogs can be on the patio, to which they said yes. With that in mind, I checked in on Yelp, making a note that I have a dog so I would need to be seated outside. When I arrived, I checked in and waited outside for a table. It was ready in less than 10 minutes, and they came outside to get me. We got a table in the shade, which was perfect with the dog and for myself. They even brought a bowl of water for my dog. I always order a coffee and the biscuits and gravy; they never disappoint! Papa Peep, along with others, checked in to make sure everything was great and if I needed anything. This is a good place to consider for breakfast. They have a vast menu to fit any needs. Everything I had was good. We started with the cinnamon roll--which did not have the extensive icing on it as shown on the hero shot of this page. It was good, but I'm an icing girl and wanted MORE to match that perfect image up top. Then I had the Desperado. It was also good and was enough for me to take half home for breakfast tomorrow. Our waiter was very hesitant to help me decide between a few items or give over arching opinions. I just wanted to know what folks love more but he wasn't really up for it. HA. Loved this brunch spot, Le Peep! Super awesome staff and great brunch food. I stopped in around lunchtime on Wednesday to get some work done, so I came in alone with my laptop. The space inside is super cute with plenty of tables, and there is a bar that you can also sit at. They have an outdoor patio space with tables out front as well. My server, Ali, was very kind. I started off by ordering an iced caramel latte with oat milk. She brought over a water pitcher with that too. I normally love sweet brunch food, but I opted to go with something savory for this visit. I got the breakfast burrito as it sounded delicious, and it was MASSIVE! I really liked the potatoes that it had inside as well. Definitely needed a fork to eat this one-the sauce on it is amazing, but messy! I unfortunately forgot the owner's name, but he made an appearance and said hello to me as I was eating. He seemed very friendly, and I watched as he made his way to check in on all the other tables at the place. Three of us went to Le Peep this morning for breakfast. We started our dining experience with a cinnamon roll. Delicious. For our breakfast, we had a naked burrito, a breakfast sandwich, and the Hen Pen breakfast (scrambled eggs, goetta, English muffin and potatoes). Everything was great. Drinks also came out quickly and once we put our food order in- that's when the wait began. Waited about 40 minutes for food because "the kitchen was backed up" however, other tables that sat after us- received their food. We were okay with the wait but our waitress didn't come to check in very often. Finally got the food and it was just okay. As we were leaving the area in 2017, Le Peep was just built. Upon our return for vaca, decided to check it out. We got here around 8:30 on a Saturday, and were promptly seated. It seems that business really picks up around 9, so be warned. I got the Baja Benedict, which was super tasty and filling. I couldn't even finish my potatoes, though they were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Really appreciated the pricing and portions of the kids meals, too. Certainly my favorite breakfast place in the area. Possibly anywhere. We have been going here for years. Long enough that we know a good deal of the staff by name. They have expanded the seating area so it's a bit easier to get a table, but still always full. I'm a big fan of the Hen Pen, and get it every other time since the rest of the menu is also delicious. I was really excited to try this restaurant after looking over their menu. The restaurant is nice and clean. The service was nice as well and our server was very pleasant, but our food was a different experience. My husband and I both ordered the lumberjack breakfast. The eggs didn't taste like real eggs, the turkey sausage was pathetic, the potatoes tasted as if they were cooked and frozen previously and the pancakes had no flavor and taste like cardboard. The coffee was the best part of our experience. This was the first time I ever just took one bite of everything (except the sausage- it looked weird) and decided to just pay and leave.
