You have to pay $10 for parking at the Wolf Lodge. Food is decent. I liked the bourbon salmon, prime rib (advertised horseradishau jus was missing), Mac&cheese, sweet potatoes, and fancier salads. I personally do not expect to go again for Thanksgiving Buffet. Service was good. Atmosphere is best described as the place was bustling and full of children. Casual. Prepaid for the breakfast buffet for our last stay at Great Wolf Lodge. Food selection was good- nice variety to suit lots of appetites. We found the food quality to be excellent. The flank steak they surprisingly had on the breakfast bar was cooked well and made a hearty addition, although we would have had plenty with the eggs, bacon, and sausage also available. Fruit bar was great for our choosy 4 year old, and the pastries were a hit with our 15 year old, while our 6 year old really enjoyed being able to put lots of toppings on her pancake. read more

I'm not sure what the moose let loose but for our family it was upset stomachs, diareah and mild food poisoning. We made the mistake eating here twice and we all felt terrible both times. Lets be honest, this is one of the trapped situations where they know they odnt have to try too hard and they can over charge because they already have you captured. The Buffett was easily twice as expensive as it should have been and the quality was poor. I wish I could do separate starts for the staff. They were polite, friendly and accommodating. We had a group of 14 including kids and they managed us well, kept our drinks full and made everything easy for the kids. Sadly, the quality of the food was poor. Stick with the safe things like fresh fruit, oatmeal and waffles and you're ok. Some of the other items were really questionable. There are a number of restaurants you can walk to or drive about a half mile away. Save your money and stomach and head over to one off those for breakfast. read more

I was impressed. We rolled in at 8:30pm and they were still putting fresh food out. Salad bar had quinoa dish and mixed greens. In the winter Meat centric as to be expected. There was fish, chicken, pork rib thing and thin slices of brisket that might have been from yesterday. McDonald's style chicken nuggets?! Is that legal. Amazing. All the kids favorites like tarot tots and Mac and cheese. Steamed vegetables. It was perfect for a big day. If the meat would have been a bit better I would have gone 5 stars. Very underwhelming. Extremely overpriced. I spent 80.00 for my two daughters and I to eat. I literally had two triangles of French toast and water. The strawberries were gross. Small, soft and bad. There weren't a lot of choices for the buffet. My daughters had some food that was also gross but not worth this money. It's definitely overpriced. Went for Thanksgiving Buffett with our fAmily of 5 with reservations made well in advance. Although the food dishes were good, it was a struggle to get anything ... the long line was too much . The buffet should have been set up on both sides to accommodate the crowd and we never were able to even get a coffee or a dessert... we even saw kids in bathing suits run in and use their hands to get cake off of a tray... and lick a serving utensil.... and put it back ... and gratuity of 18% was added and although I am a generous tipper... one plate of buffet food for a family of five should never cost over $180.00. I find this place to be overpriced and underwhelming. My kids enjoyed the buffet but after a day or two of the same foods, it gets old.

This is a 1 star rating because the scale doesn't go into the negative numbers required to truly capture this dining experience. The short description of my experience - I was berated for asking for a knife to go with my overpriced $20 plate of buffet crap. I could leave it at that, but it doesn't really explain the horror of this establishment. After watching the head chef drop a basket of brussel sprouts in the deep fryer I knew I was in for a culinary nightmare - and boy they didn't disappoint in this regard. The "prime rib", in its brownish-grey glory, looked more like a shoulder roast my grandma with alzheimer's cooks when she fails to turn the oven off until family visit several days later. My son has the salmon and my only concern at this point is that it stays down tonight! Horrible food, disrespectful kitchen staff (except the galati boy) and an overall disgusting meal. I didn't have high expectations with buffet food, but this was a new low. I'm easy to please but after the first trip, the only thing I was ok with was salad. We had the breakfast buffet. It was okay. It wasn't the best breakfast but was not the worst. It was just your basic choices. They had paw print waffles which was cute for the kids especially since the pancakes they had were oat or banana which my kids would not eat. Cereal ended up being the younger ones choice of breakfast. I would definintely recommend making a reservation which is what we did based on someone else's review. They may have open tables but they don't seem to have enough servers to take care of them all. Our server was very nice so no complaints there. read more

Its an okay buffet. Little pricey for the quality food served. Everything has onions even the hash browns, which is a little yuck. The cinnamon rolls are kept cold on the salad bar end which makes them hard as a rock or you can ask for them to heat it up but i think that is an inconvenience on my time. The waitress staff is very poor. They serve you a beverage and never come back to offer a refill until after you've been done eating for quite some time. We had breakfast on the buffet , which we all enjoyed! !! We had a reservation which was a good thing they were packed . The food was very good, servers persons kind. We purchased a voucher ahead of time that made it cheaper for us, that is always nice for a family. I would recommend it for breakfast here . When we arrived at 6:30 pm The Loose Moose Cottage in Mason Ohio, we were seated right away because we were the only people in there . I asked our server the reason why? She said they just was having a very slow night only 5 families so far. I asked the food server how long the food they were serving us had been out on the buffet , because it looked dry?? He replied not long, which a cheesy grin. We then filled our plates were seated and was Disgusted!! The food WAS dry, tough, you could not cut into it let alone eat it. My gran daughter who got the chicken made the remark ewww this isn't chicken. When I mentioned it to our server she just kind of shrugged it off!! We did not eat the food and tried deserts, 3 servers came out of their stations and were looking at our table like we had done something wrong! Just standing there watching us. By that time 2 party's come in with very large groups so ALL the food was yanked and fresh was brought out in it's place. I so wish they had offered us the same courteous. We did however try some of the fresh foods, although after eating desert it kind have ruined our entire dinner. The fresh food of course tasted much better then the food I assume was sitting there at 5:00 pm when they opened!! 4 adults and 2 children $112.00 not even an apology!!! OK, We only went for breakfast, so that is all I will talk about. First it's a buffet. Second, they serve you on the buffet. Third (and here's the catch) they limit you to 3 pieces of bacon and one piece of link sausage! Um, yes I did say it is a buffet. Also, is there anyone out there that likes to pick up one (of their three) slices of bacon and have it fold in half? I do not. I like mine crispy. Not burnt, but crispy. I would not be getting that at this restaurant. The "farm fresh eggs" are reconstituted powder eggs with waaay too much salt. The "signature wolf waffles" are toddler size waffles that have a paw print on them (really?) Since when are yogurt, granola, fruit and berries not organic? The price for adults, ages 14 and up are $ 14.99 or $10.00 in advance per person...NOT WORTH IT! read more
