I was hopeful we actually had a decent breakfast spot on the north side of Cincinnati but unfortunately, Le Peep is average at best. The food was First Watch like although they had a few different things. If you like high fructose corn syrup maple syrup and from a mix pancakes, this place is for you. I had a skillet, my wife and son the French toast and my daughter had a pancake. All, as noted above, were average. The pancake was extremely dry and my potatoes were very under cooked and hard in the skillet. I guess we will have to keep looking. read more

Great breakfast. We ordered a Colorado omelet and a smoked salmon bagel. When the salmon bagel arrived, it was grilled salmon, which was not what I wanted or expected. Normally that would be an automatic downgrade of the stars, but my breakfast was replaced immediately with yummy French toast which arrived in just a few minutes piping hot. The sever was pleasant and responsive so why four stars? We spent our breakfast listening to the manager speak with several team members about the staffing schedule and why certain requests couldn't be met, etc. not how we wanted to spend our first morning of vacation. read more

I really wanted to like this restaurant since it's new to the area and close. I even waited to review until we had eaten here a few times. All I can say is (unenthusiastically) the food is just "ok". Both times I visited the eggs were overcooked and brown on the bottom and the potatoes were dry, bland, an undercooked. The coffee is okay. The pancakes are okay. The chicken-fried steak was decent. The first time I went the biscuits and gravy were very good but the second time the biscuits were burnt on the bottom. I am not sure that we will come back. Sad face. read more

Tried out the new LePeep on Montgomery Road (ohio 22) in Landen. What a nice restaurant. Roomy inside and a great outdoor area. Extensive menu with something for everyone. I had the Lumberjack Breakfast. 2 eggs, 2 bacon strips, 2 pancakes, and grilled potatoes. It was fantastic. Highly recommend LePeep. A locally operated licensed national chain out of Denver. A wonderful place to go for breakfast and brunch. Using Yelp to get in line helps cut the wait to something more manageable, as Le Peep is very popular. Check in is super easy. Checking out, however, can be a challenge as you have to pay the bill at the host desk and it gets really crowded when the weather's cold or rainy. The food is wonderful and the service is snappy. My favorite breakfast spot in town! This location is incredibly convenient and provides high quality food. As a creature of habit, I order French toast with scrambled eggs. Absolutely delicious! My husband and daughter (both fairly picky eaters) have tried several items on the menu and have been pleased. I recommend arriving early on the weekends as they can get pretty busy. The overall ambience of the restaurant is lively yet charming. So grateful for delicious food and a wonderful environment to enjoy it in. read more

Came into the counter alone this morning for breakfast and their great bottomless coffee (Cost $2.85 ). Ordered 2 eggs over easy, hash browns, whole wheat toast, butter and jelly on the side and bacon. Jamie was my server. She was ok. Real businesslike. Not very friendly. They only give you one piece of toast. Bacon was very good. 4 slices. Crispy like I like it. Hash-browns were a little greasy. Only ate half of them. Overall atmosphere was cool to cold. I would not recommend this poor excuse of a breakfast diner to anyone. You are simply better off waiting 30 minutes to an hour to get a table at The Buff or any other breakfast place in the area. Let me tell you what went wrong with my experience with "Le Sheet". First of all, our waiter was absolutely clueless to our table. He served us filthy water cups with some sort of almond or oat type substance, and when we asked for new cups, he gave us dirty cups again and it had just come straight out of the dishwasher. He also didn't even bother to get us water, as we sat at the table for half an hour with no water with our food. Leading into our second problem, our waiter barely came to our table after getting our orders and drinks. He also messed up on my friends order, and while a slight mess up is excusable, his order came 15 minutes after everyone else got theirs, and to top it off the food didn't have the one thing my friend SPECIFICALLY asked for. Did I mention that all the sugar/sweeteners are like a decade old? We opened up 7 packets of sweeteners, and all of them were literally solid in place, and I'm not kidding when I say it looked exactly like a brick of cocaine. Lastly, some of the food tasted like frozen food you'd find at your local dollar store. The sausages had no taste whatsoever, and looked exactly like fresh dog excrement. Needless to say, my experience ruined my Sunday morning, as I got so frustrated that I started yelling at a woman's dog for cutting me off at the stop sign. Do us a favor, and DO NOT GO TO LE SHEET. I'll say it again, just wait at The Buff no matter the wait. Trust me, you'll thank me later. read more
