    Pink lemonade & cidre!!

French friends, here a real Crêperie Bretonne!! Savoury Galettes and sweet crêpes, homemade salty caramel sauce, a little terrasse outside, real Cidre... We definitely had a great time here! It was good and the prices correct, not more expensive than the crêpes you buy in Paris for example. They also sell few french products (biscuits michel & augustin, cidre, caramel sauce....) Really nice, go try!!

Let me preface this review by saying I love French stuff, the country, the language and most certainly their crepes. As a regular around these parts, I loved Andersons Creperie but the last three times I've been there I was left feeling a bit disappointed. The crepes were slightly cold or burned when they reached the table, the cream was getting smaller and smaller and the service was abysmal. So I stopped going for crepes on the north side... Until today. I'd read about Le Petit Garçon on Yelp but I couldn't have imagined how French the Whitworth road could get until I went in today. The decor is simple and chic, a large window allows you to watch the world going by while you relax and you can admire all manner of French delights while you wait.. And you are not waiting long. The service is friendly and fast. We ordered two Banoffee crepes and within moments we were presented with two gorgeous looking crepes. And they tasted even better. All the while listening to some gentle French soul and hip hop. While they are pricey enough, sometimes you deserve a treat and this place is my new go to happy place.

Very atmospheric little French cafe right by the canal. You can sit down relax and watch the word passing by. French music, amazing french crepes, lovely croissants, nice coffee. I'll definitely be back soon!

Wasn't mad about the place. It's a great location but I found it so crowded and awkward to get into. I ordered a breakfast crepe. Now I do like the idea that it's gluten free and it's a cute little French restaurant but my crepe was crap. It was so dry and I could have actually done a better job. Staff were pleasant my but didn't like the communal toilet that was broken.

Absolutely loved this cafe! The food was delicious and the pastries and coffee just sealed the deal. I will definitely be visiting again!

I had the veggie galette from the breakfast menu and asked for it without mushrooms, so it was a little insubstantial fillings-wise (I thought they might have added extra of the other veggies). It was filled with cheese, spinach and tomato but was very bland and needed seasoning or a sauce. It did come with a little pot of relish on the side but this would have worked better in the wrap itself which was just stodgy and soggy and not very appealing. The frothy cappuccino, friendly service and decor did save the experience a little but the food was pretty disappointing overall.

This was a meal AND a desert all in one. Anderson's have a big selection of sweet and savoury crepes and we went for the pavlova and peach and vanilla one which was served with ice cream. Both really generous portions. Crepe is not the only thing you can get here, they have a 'proper food' menu and wine list as well. It's quite nice on the inside with an open kitchen right in the middle of the room. There are two small tables outside if you are lucky and you get here on a sunny day. A big let down for me was the coffee, which wasn't good at all but other than that, if I ever get a craving for crepe again, I wouldn't hesitate to return.

The portion sizes kind of seem small but that could be because my girlfriend and I split everything and it was basically a couple of bites from each other's dishes. We got the blueberry lemon pancakes, and a meat dish for the needed protein, so one savory and one sweet, the way breakfast is meant to be worshipped and devoured simultaneously. Beautiful, small place that gets packed very quickly. Interestingly enough I thought it was a French bistro, but I believe the owners hail from Ukraine as that is the country flag that was hung outside the shape if my world history learnings are correct. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and would come back in a New York minute if I get the chance to visit Dublin again. As always people SYOY!!!

I do wish the bacon side had 2 slices but it only comes with 1. My husband had French crepes with blueberry supreme topping and an order of the potato fritters, which is its own meal. I had hot tea and he had a cappuccino. Be reminded that this is a European sized cup not a giant American size. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals so much so that I left no scraps on my plate. My husband didn't finish his fritters that have avocado on them bc he's not a fan of avocado. He forgot to ask that they be removed. His fault. Very nice young staff. I wish that we had discovered this restaurant sooner bc we would have eaten breakfast there again but we discovered it on our second to last day.

Long story short, I was on a trip to Portugal and Spain with my boyfriend (first time in Europe for both of us), and we decided to take a 7 hour layover in Dublin (because why not!). We have an unofficial mission to try ice cream in every new state/country we travel to, so when we saw Scoop, we decided to go for it even though it was still early morning. They hadn't set up the ice cream in the display yet since it was so early, but the guy helping us (more about him later) told us the range of flavors they had, and we decided to go for Cream and Pistachio. To say the ice cream was good would be an understatement, and I hesitate to say this because it's a bold statement, but this may have been the best ice cream/flavor combination I've ever had! The pistachio was complex, delightfully nutty, and didn't have any of that artificial pistachio flavoring that is unfortunately too common, and the cream was light, refreshing, and a perfect complement to the nuttier flavors of the pistachio. Ugh, I was in ice cream heaven. If I'm ever in Dublin again, this will probably be stop #1 (plus, it's the first place I officially visited in Europe so it'll always have a special place in my heart). Top off the amazing ice cream with even more amazing service. I really wish I remembered his name because he deserves all the credit in the world, but the guy behind the register was so personable, patient, and polite! Not to mention, he gave us a free latte to welcome us to Dublin. We ran into the owner (?) as well during the visit, who was also very warm and welcoming. I noticed that this location is currently unclaimed, but owners - if you ever see this review, open a location in the US please :D And thanks again for your amazing ice cream and hospitality!

I have a sweet tooth, so I went with Snickers ice cream and my husband with Oreo . They are both tasty, not really sweet (which is good); you can see big pieces of nuts, caramel or cookies. They also have crepes, waffles, milkshakes and other yumm things. Price is okay - i guess like everywhere €3,50 for 1 scoop(with regular cone) €4,80 -2 scoops -and so on - you can see almost all prices on my photo!

I phoned the day prior to make sure that they were capable of delivering her food as both of us were under precautionary quarantine and were unable to go out and pick it up and I was told that Deliveroo delivered for them. I asked what time they opened and they said 10am. At 10am I was ready to order only to find Deliveroo did not have them listed. In a panic I called to ask if I had done something wrong only to be told that they had not switched on to connect to Deliveroo. I explained how its was my best friends birthday and that this was her favorite restaurant. The gentlemen on the phone said he would ask the chef if he could get it switched on just for a moment so that I could place the order and I was so appreciative. He then returned to tell me with remorse that the chef said NO. I can wait and order at 12. In a crisis that can often feel really dark sometimes, a small thing such as a favorite meal can make one feel a little less down. And on your birthday not being surrounded by anyone is extremely hard. But the Voici Creperie chef made a point of making it darker. Firstly they LIED about having a delivery service available, it conveniently is only available when they want to switch it on. Secondly the HEARTLESS behaviour I had to endure by SOME CHEF is disappointing. If you are looking for a meal that is available when they would like then I would recommend this place. However if you are looking for a place that serves their meals with a dash of humane behaviour this is not the place for you. It saddens me to know such callous humans exist in the world, let alone the frightening fact that they are in the service industry.
