The cutest place in town and hands down the sweetest owners. I love this little gem in our community. The space is so open and full of natural light. The coffee is fresh and delicious, and I haven't heard my coworker stop raving about the Caprese sandwich. It's also a great spot for gifts! I wanted to share my experience at a special little market that I recently visited. It's tucked away on a block off of Foothill, it can be easy to miss, but definitely worth checking out. The decor is lovely; I visited in the fall, so it was covered in orange and yellow leaves and pumpkins, thoughtfully placed to complement their intentional selection of food and treats. The coffee is strong and will not disappoint, and the barista had a warm and welcoming tone. They also have a great selection of pastries and gifts, making it an ideal spot if you're looking for a gift for a foodie. I went in looking for coffee and I left wanting to return for more. Le Petit Pantry is such a beautiful addition to La Canada. I finally walked in after driving by several times last week, and I am so glad I did. The space feels warm and inviting, and the energy of the market is so thoughtful and intentional. We were greeted by the owner, who was incredibly friendly and personable. His wife and children were also there, which made the whole experience feel even more wholesome and community-centered. I picked up a few high-quality items I was already familiar with, but what stood out most were the incredible organic apples. Truly some of the best apples I have ever tasted. The next day I had one with peanut butter, but honestly before I even dipped it I had to pause and wonder if I was actually eating an apple because the flavor was so rich, sweet, and complex. It did not taste like any apple I have ever had. It was so fresh and perfect that I ended up raving about it to everyone I spoke with afterwards. As someone who is very particular about the ingredients I use, and equally about how and where they are sourced, it is such a gift to find a market that shares the same values. Le Petit Pantry clearly puts thought and care into what they bring into their space, and it shows. Best of luck to them as they continue to grow. While in the area I stopped by to check this store out. You will find a lot of unique food items here such as jams, crackers, spices, pastas, oils, and many more pantry items. Organic fruits and vegetables and much more. They also have candy bar, nuts you can purchase by weight. Freshly baked bread and I even saw croissants that looked really good. There was a menu offering sandwiches, also there were already made food items in the fridge. I believe they serve coffee drinks too. Overall it's a cute store with lots of specialty items, high prices come with that. The organic buckwheat crackers I purchased were delicious and I have never seen it anywhere else. I love these kinds of stores that sell u pique things. Customer service was ok, the vibe of the store is a bit cold. This was such a great neighborhood find. I'm so happy that they're finally open. They had really fresh organic produce and a bunch of unique items you don't usually see elsewhere. Le Petit Pantry is has a very inviting environment. The uniqueness of the store is because of it's food options that you cannot find in most grocery stores. They cater to different demographics such as Italian, Mediteranean, etc. the shop is also very well kept and clean and they have a family based business, which makes it feel very homey and part of the community. They have very healthy options and delicious! I was there this past weekend for breakfast, I don't know if this is something new, but they serve very good breakfast bites/sandwiches and the coffee is amazing! A great addition to the small town of La Canada-Flintridge. I tried delicious imported products that were new to me, including the sugar-free halva and the individually wrapped Achva halva snacks in three flavors. Re the Achva halva snacks, I brought them as a guest, and it was a big hit for dessert on both occasions. I met a friend at Le Petit Pantry for tea, and I plan on meeting others for a light lunch. Everything on the shelves has clean, quality ingredients, and you can tell the sweet couple who owns it really put thought into what they want to carry.
