I love getting my nails done. I wanted to try somewhere new a little fancy for my birthday and I found this place on Yelp. Wow! From the moment I walked in I loved it. It's hard because I want this place to do well but I also am worried others will find this gem and it will get busy! Decor/vibes: it was nice calm and classy. No loud music, no tv screens everywhere, no nail salon smell. Decor and everything is so cute - you feel like you're transported. Nail colors: all seem to be premium, I didn't really browse all the colors since I came in with a specific color/design in mind but I liked that everything I saw was opi. They had a lot of nail charms and I wanted to do that but changed my mind and went with nail art. I think next time I will definitely get a few charms. I've never seen a salon with so many options. Cleanliness: The stations are really nice and neat and clean. I saw staff sweeping and cleaning - just overall felt super clean. Nail Artist: 10/10 . She reshaped my nails better they've been in a long time. She took care of my cuticles with fine detail. I asked her to do kind of a dainty small nail art design which I get nervous asking for but she did it perfectly! Wow such an amazing experience. Talk about pampering yourself, the environment is the ultimate girls day experience and vibe. While you wait there is a cute area and when they are ready for you the technician greets you and introduces themselves which I love! they provide a snack and water as well. I had the most amazing, relaxing and pampering pedicure today at Le Petit Salon! I got their signature pedicure and my technician, Elle, did an amazing job. In between taking off my old polish and putting on the new, my feet and legs were, oiled, exfoliated, lotioned, massaged and she even spent some time massaging the bottoms of my feet. Then the icing on the cake! I went in with a severe kink in my neck and one of the services that they offer is a neck and scalp massage. They don't even ask if you want a manicure and fail to mention that it's not included with enhancements; instead, they just charge you extra. The pricing for enhancements is especially unclear. The instructions should clearly state that a manicure is not included. Even the classic manicure description lacks details--what kind of polish is included? Regular polish or gel? From my experience, enhancements can last a long time even without a manicure. I once had gel polish last for two months without a manicure. If it doesn't last that long, it's likely due to poor-quality products or improper technique, not because a manicure wasn't included. My own gel pedicure was lovely - the polish removal was included in the price and I received a short leg massage as well. One of my girls got a manicure and the other got a pedicure- both with a vibrant sparkly polish that I can't seem to find online, so we'll need to come back. This spot is absolutely beautiful! I was gagged when I pulled up on how cute this place is. I don't have the strongest sense of smell but this salon did not smell overwhelmingly like nail products, it mostly smelled like flowers which is really nice. I don't think they have different tiers of service like most nail salons but you still get a full service pedicure with a scrub, lotion and a little massage. Also the pedi bowl and the bowl to soak my hands had rose petals, probably why the salon smells like flowers! Marie was excellent, asking me if everything is good throughout each step of my pedicure, spent a great amount of time getting every atom of my cuticle, and my French is so clean and thin. Ann did my manicure to remove my gelx and was super careful to not hurt my natural nail that my gelx lifted off of. I've been to plenty of nail salons and even worked at one but my experience here definitely beats all my previous experiences. They also have some snacks and candies available, a table with so many cute gems and charms in a whole assortment of colors, and so many cute colors I haven't seen in other salons. One thing is that they don't have those massage chairs which I don't really mind since I feel like the shaking from those chairs messes on the nail tech's work. Also plenty of parking in their shared lot which is always a plus. Definitely a very nice place to book out to bridesmaids parties, a girls day, or just for yourself. This place is all show and no soul. I called 4 days before to make a reservation for myself and my three girlfriends and our daughters 2 adults and 4 kids. My third gf was just bringing her daughter and not getting a treatment. Side note- I had only been to this place once before when I had 3 hours to kill and me and the girls stumbled on this place and there was not one person inside getting treatments. I was charged over $500 for me and my 2 kids for 3 gel mani pedis with a couple charms (this definitely isn't our bimonthly nail spot with these prices in a ghetto run down strip mall) but it was a cute, VERY long and drawn out experience for the girls and I thought it would be fun for a special occasion that these friends were in town. When I called I was very specific that the two adults needed their nails done and the 4 kids at the same time because we had plans later that night and we didn't have the time (or the bandwidth with 4 4-6 year olds) to be there for 3 hours. She said okay would you like to rent it out for a private party? This chick is always trying to make rent. I said no that's not necessary it's just a casual nail appointment for friends I have in town and their daughters and my daughters. Even on the phone I was thinking to myself this is why this place is empty all the time because you're explaining to me, the customer who's bringing you 5 other customers, that normally you force a private party fee for groups over 4 people. I said listen if that's the case we'll pass this is already expensive and like I said it's just a normal nail appointment and I'm bringing my friends to your establishment! She agreed to bring in more staff and we could all be accommodated at 3pm all at once. We get there (after getting kids unbuckled from car seats at 3:03 walk in, say hi, the owner is already annoyed. The girls see the glass vases of candy and run over, they are so excited to see the charm cases, they are looking at the color books, everyone is really excited. Nothing wild just literally normal little girl excitement in an all pink nail salon with these things. We are all really strict moms on manners and how to act in public places so we wrangled them in to sit on the couch in the front section and pick out stickers and colors. The owner is immediately freaking out and has nothing ready, she's still instructing her staff in the back to I don't even know what, and going back and chatting with them instead of getting us sat and started. This goes on for 20 minutes!! I wave her over and I say hey can we get started? She is like yes in just a minute we have a process (what process... ) I'm like okay we would love to sit, she starts looking at the kids (in the look all of us moms know and love) and begins to tell me to tell the kids to keep feet off the couches- I look over and they're sitting down and their feet don't even hit the floor I'm like their feet aren't on the couches? I'm like why don't we just get the kids sat in a chair since this has gone on for almost 20 minutes and then none of us will be at the front at all? She's snaps back well you were late! lol at this point I'm like this is not going to be fun for the kids and I can bet she's a 40+ business owner with no children of her own that started a French nail shop with all the cute girly things but actually doesn't love cute little girls playing with her things. We ended up mutually agreeing that she didn't want to serve us and that we were turned off by our now almost 30 minutes experience in her lobby while she malfunctioned at the highest level so we left. Nailtique on jamboree for us all in with 10 minutes, were SO SWEET to the girls, got them right into seats and gave them the massage remotes while they got set up, and had us out of there in an hour and a half flat for a quarter of the price and 8x the customer service. Word to the moms- if you got 3 hours and maybe one kid on a tablet this is the spot for you. This lady is too into her own koolaid rather than the customers and the croissants and the roses in the water aren't worth the attitude. I'm all for paying for a high end experience but that's in fun and special treatment not snobbiness. read more
