First time coming from what was a horrible haircut at another barbershop. I recommend getting a haircut by Angel. He was just phenomenal at repairing the damage and even more. Just beyond exceptional service that taught me a lot and shows what excellence looks like. This was not just your everyday haircut, but it felt like someone who cuts hair with passion and just knows what works best with the style you would want and are used to. He gave me a new style that matches me that I didn't know I would like and it feels amazing. Im used to barbers that charge more and cut hair for half the quality and ONLY for the money, but Angel does not. His approach comes genuinely from helping you look your best. For 2 consecutive haircut appointments now , I was assigned to a novice haircutter who could not even communicate and understand the English language. I'm not impressed and satisfied with my haircut considering I'm completely bald on top. My haircut today was not not even and proportional on the sideburn. My neck is burning from the shave. While the people are very nice, there seems to be no one in charge and no protocol for procedures. I am new to the area and was looking for a salon. Made an appointment with a stylist and stated I had curly hair and that is how I like to wear it. The stylist told me she has curly hair so she understood curly hair. She proceeded to blow dry my hair straight. It looked nice but that is not what I wanted. Then when I got home, I noticed she had not layered it in the back at all. I called the stylist the next day and she was very sweet and asked me to come back so she could fix it. I made an appointment for the following Tuesday at 11am. I arrived 5 minutes early and sat and waited as it appeared she was finishing up with one girl. Once she was done with the young lady, I thought it would be my turn. Nope. She then took the other girl in this group of 3 and started working on her hair during my appointment time. I got up and left. I could not wait 30-60 minutes till she finished with the young woman. The stylist called me at 11:47 and asked where I was. I explained that I had been there (she looked right at me so I know she saw me) but when I saw her start to work on someone at the time that my appointment was set for, I decided to leave. My in law and I went as a walk in, we completely overlooked the "by appointment". They were kind enough to take us in for manicure and pedicure. Called the morning of to book a mani-pedi via a Groupon deal. Booked an appointment for 6:15 pm, and arrived promptly at that time (after driving through 30 minutes of 192 traffic). When I walked it, I was told that the 5:00 appointment had just gotten there, and that she didn't want to rush her nails. She said she didn't have my phone number to call and cancel, so she waited for me to show up. She offered me a appointment for the next day, but I respectfully declined. The lady was really nice and apologetic, but why should the 5:00 girl get my time if she was an hour late? And why did no one write my number down when I made the appointment? Extremely frustrating. DO NOT go here!!! First off she cut my foot as she was scrubbing it with the pumice stone! I have acrylic on my big toes and as she was filing them they came off (my guessing was cause they needed to be filled) she tried to glue the piece that came off and got super glue all over my toe!! Finally as she got to my fingers she NEVER asked what shape I wanted! Today all my Gel nail polish peeled off! I got them done on Tuesday 2/13 and today is 2/14!!! I purchased a Groupon for gel Manicure and deluxe pedicure for $39. She charged me $5 to take the gel off my toes (ok I get that since I wasn't getting gel on my toes) she charged me $5 each big toe to refill them (ok I get that) THEN she charged me another $5 to take the gel off my fingers even though I was getting a gel manicure ( I get my nails and toes done frequently and always get gel on my fingers and have never had to pay a separate fee!) read more

One star for how nice my barber was and one star for how immaculate the place was. However my experience was not good. I called the day before to see if there were any openings. I was scheduled for the next day. I gave my name and number. When I arrived for my appointment The stylist I had been scheduled with was not there. I was told to have a seat and wait. 15 minutes went by without someone updating me. So I asked if I should stay or go. They were trying to get ahold of the stylist. 15 minutes after that they had one of the barbers cut my hair. He was super nice but not experienced enough to cut women's hair. 2 hours later I have a cut that I do not like. They didn't even show the back before I left. I tipped the barber because he was told to cut my hair but I wish I would have gone elsewhere instead of paying $35 for a $10 cut. I can understand the schedule mishap that happens, I just didn't appreciate being a head to practice on. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I felt it needed to be said. read more

Very disappointing and scary. I had an appointment only to find out there was no one there. The owner (Jamal) was sitting out front in his car. He got out and opened the door to the business. He apologized and said no one was working. He said the ladies had taken the day off. He then said he fired them. He said he would take care of me and to call back a little later. I left and about 15-20 later my phone rang and it was the nail tech. She apologized and said she couldn't get her car out of the garage and that's why she was late. She said I could come on in. I then made the mistake to drive back to this place. I walked in the door and there were 2 nail techs and a hair stylist working. It seemed a little odd. I sat down and the tech started to file my nails. We chatted and everything seemed fine. About 5 minutes after arriving and having my manicure started the police show up. My nail tech gets up walks over and starts talking to them. The cops tell her she has to leave and to save it for court. She goes outside with the cops. I wait for about 10 minutes thinking this will be sorted out. I asked the other nail tech if she's coming back. She gets up and checks outside and the other lady is still with the cops. She said she was not sure but if I wanted to wait until she's done doing a fill she'll do my manicure. I said thank you but I'm leaving. I got up, walked out and drove away. The owner (Jamal) said nothing to me this time. I left in such disbelief as to what happened. I was in the middle of a dispute between the owner and a nail tech. What a horrible way to treat a customer. Shame on the nail tech and the owner. So sad as the place is very nice inside. I wasted 2 hours of my time and didn't get a manicure. I will NEVER EVER go back to this place. Please beware if you go there. read more
