Excellent meal. We just popped in with no reservations or plans to go here. We were just walking down the street and stumbled across this. Now I would recommend it to others. The service was great and the food was also very good.

We chose it because it was close, and am so glad we did. Warmly greeted and sat immediately. Felt like walking into a Hemingway East Indies French restaurant, warm and inviting. Nice. We got a wonderful bottle of Margaux to start, and finish with. I got the Plat du Jour of Duck and it was absolutely fantastic! For dessert I got the Ba ba rum, wow was that boozy ( like it should be. Overall wonderful experience and will definitely be back!

Stumbled across this cafe near the Latin Quarter and was looking for something to eat and drink, and it was perfect. The staff were friendly, the food was good, and the atmosphere was cozy. I got the flank steak (which came with a side salad and fries) and two glasses of cote du Rhône, and my bill was about 26€ or so, which I thought was a great price! Tucked off a side street so I wouldn't say this was an overrun tourist destination by any means. I plan to return on a future layover in Paris! Lovely spot.

After completing a food tour of the St Germain neighborhood our guide recommended this restaurant for dinner. We were joined by our cousins who were also visiting Paris. The restaurant is very charming and has a wonderful view of the streets nearby, even if sitting inside. We were able to order a few drinks and put in our food order as well. I ordered the Beef Bourguignon and my wife ordered the flank steak and fries. Starting with my wife, she really enjoyed the steak. It was cooked exactly how she wanted, was very flavorful, and the fries were hot and crispy. For mine, the beef was incredibly tender and fell apart as soon as the fork touched it. The real surprise though was the potatoes au gratin that mine came with. They were outstanding. Cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of savory and umami to it. It took me a few bites to even realize that there were mushrooms in the dish (which I do NOT like) but those potatoes were so good I didn't care in the least. In all, our meals were masterfully put together. The wait staff was excellent the whole meal as well adding up to one of our best overall meals in Paris. Highly recommend stopping by.

Both service as well as food were just average; good portions but not exceptional flavor.

The cobb salads looks much better than it tastes.

While this wasn't the best meal I had in Paris, it was probably the best service I received. The Cobb salad was visually if not delectably special. The chocolate cafe was much better. And who doesn't enjoy a cold coke and glass of white wine on a hot summer day?!

Went here on our last night in Paris. The food was delicious and the location was great. We had the escargot, onion soup, red lentil Dahl (highly recommend if you're craving veggies - it was delicious) and a beef dish. If you're looking to eat some French food that doesn't break the bank this is the place for you! The servers were also very friendly. Probably one of my favorite sit down dinners from our whole trip.

Nice ambiance. Good service. Food is mediocre. Sauces/dressing tasted like it came out of a jar.

THE FOOD ------------------…read more+ Notre Dame Granny Smith Apple Confit - Was refreshing! I couldn't tell if this was a real apple or some fancy French creation made to look like one - that's how real it looked! The mousse and apple bits were cold & delicious and the chocolate shell was good, but not sure if it was worth the price at €7.5. + Pain Au Chocolat Cookie - Verrrry good chocolate chip cookie, chocolate croissant mashup. Only thing that we were missing was some good ol' milk! + Almond Croissant - Once again, delicious! Solid croissant and definitely a good grab and go candidate. = Citronnade - Was just OK. Lemonade that was on the watered down side, but was somewhat refreshing because I was dying of thirst. THE SERVICE ----------------------- - Employee who helped us with our order was friendly, but the cashier was a bit blah and not exactly the friendliest person, especially when we asked for extra utensils and napkins. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ - Smallish, tight interior that you can dine in at, but don't be surprised if the next table is sitting on top of you. + There are also 5 outdoor tables on the narrow street. - Entrance is tight too. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------------- + Even though this bakery is ranked highly on Tripadvisor, there was no crowd on the Monday morning that we swung by. Line moved superfast.

We came here for some coffee on a rainy afternoon, but were pleasantly surprised to see escargot on the menu too and figured we'd give it a shot. Coffee wise we got the vienna coffee which had chocolate inside. It was good, with a nice espresso flavor and a huge dollop of whipped cream on top. A nice pick me up for the day. The escargot on the other hand, was so fantastic. They were served all cute in their little shells on a tray, and bubbling when we first got them. The green sauce that they came with was fantastic, and the butter was also a great addition! This made for such a flavorful little bite - escargots taste like little chewy clams to me, nothing strange at all. It also came with a few pieces of baguette to soak up the yummy sauce. Service was friendly and the inside of the restaurant has such a nice vibe. I would definitely recommend this spot!
