10/10 food, service, and ambiance, you can't skip this one! The entrandre ribeye steak was amazing, juicy, and tender. Cooked perfectly! This was some of the best bone marrow I've ever had. The warm honey goat salad was a surprising stand out dish. The owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The service was spectavular by the entire staff. Great food, great wine, great vibes--could not reccommend this place more.

We had a good experience here, the food was just ok. We are still getting accustomed to French Cuisine which could be part of it. The filet was very hard to cut and in an au gratin sauce - it tasted good, just hard to cut.

We had an incredible evening at Le Bistrot d'Henri! Everything was phenomenal. The restaurant is a quaint, cozy bistro with very limited seating, encourage making a reservation in advance. It's definitely a little more off the beaten path- but enjoyed by locals and tourists alike. The dishes were excellent, I wish we tried more items!

Haven't been here in about 10 years, but is as excellent as remembered. Gracious host who was kind with our minimal French. This is a small local charming bistro with only about 30 seats. Crab soup was delicious, steak, tartare, more than abundant. And roasted bone marrow as rich as you would imagine.

Three of us randomly found this place on Google maps looking for a decently rated French restaurant. It turned out to be a great choice. It's a small place on a quiet side street with only inside seating. At two in the afternoon on Sunday it was nearly empty and seating was easy. They have an English menu full of good options. We ordered marrow bone for appetizers and duck breast, slow cooked lamb and bourguignion stew with a bottle of house red wine. All were excellent. Together with three espressos it all came to 110 euros.

Chateubriand and dauphine potatoes

My husband and I discovered Bistrot Henri on our first trip to Paris together 5 years ago. We loved it so much that we visited it twice on that trip. We were excited to return recently, and thrilled to find that the food was just as good as we remember. The dishes are French classics that include beef bourginone, chateubriand, dauphine potatoes, etc. The menu is filled with French comfort food, and they offer specials as well. On our visit the other night, we ordered bone marrow with toast, chateubriand with green peppercorn sauce, flank steak with onions, and a cheese plate. All were delicious and the mains were served with the best potatoes I have ever had in my life. We paired it with a nice rose', and couldn't have been happier with our meal. Best of all, we got a table outside where we were completely comfortable. We hope to return again in the not-too-distant future!!!

Bone Marrow and Escargot

Incredible food at a great price. We ordered the bone marrow, escargot, and the beef bourginuon. Everything was amazing, especially the beef bourginuon. Service was fast and attentive, though we were the only people in the restaurant so that could vary. The vibe was great and the ambiance was relaxing and lovely.

This place was recommended to me by a friend. We visited for dinner on a Thursday. It's pretty small and started to get crowded after we sat down. I ordered the steak tartare, and we also ordered the lamb chops, roasted duck, and sea bass, and shared a salad. Everything was pretty good and seemed pretty affordable for the portion sizes. Service did seem a little weird, we got English menus but they brought over a chalkboard with the specials written in French (I can speak French, but it was written so lightly and kind of rubbed off that it was difficult to read), but they seem to bring chalkboards over to every table regardless of whether they can read French or not. Also interestingly saw a table accidentally given English menus when they needed French, so just ask if you need a different menu or translation of the specials.

The richness of the flavor and the texture which is not reminiscent of the traditional roasted duck or foie gras, but rather a much more like a luxurious and indulgent version. We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

As a Chinese, I understood more than 50% of the conservations (Chinese). Which doesn't mean anything about the food. Just observation. Onion soup - 2 stars. First, the cheese failed to emit the baked, melted gruyere cheese, there is no aroma at all. I don't think they used gruyere cheese. May be mozzarella cheese. The worst part was the bread in the soup. It tasted stale which ruin the flavor of the soup. I had to finish without the bread. Escargot - Another disappointment. What made escargots special was the garlic butter and herb. Here, there were the herbs, no garlic, and French is famous with their butter but I taste oil but not buttery. Other places I actually get excited dipping the bread into the garlic butter but not here. Pan seared Foie gras - The quality of Foie Gras was definitely there. It's not as well seared as I hope but they managed to cook it through without overcooking it. The size of Foie Gras is kind of scary, it's like a small piece of rib eye steak. With just the onion soup and Foie Gras, I could barely swallow anything. Generous portion.

All the flavors went well together; mashed potatoes were well seasoned the sausage had a good flavor, and the salad with the vinaigrette added a crunch in an extra flavor as well. The restaurant itself isn't small, but really not big, so it's definitely worthwhile to make a reservation at least a week or so on advance, otherwise you're pushing your luck. Everyone ordered steak frites (2 rump steak, 2 flank) and no one was disappointed. Steaks were cooked to order, although medium here in France is more like medium rare in the States, just be advised. The restaurant itself is lively and fun with lots of chatting, laughing and good times being shared. Desserts were Crème Brûlée and Apple Crumble, neither of which were disappointing. We definitely enjoyed our dinner and would likely return again. This time with a reservation made well in advance.

Just finished a long bike ride to the Eiffel Tower and worked up an appetite. Decided to go straight to the main course. They are known for Au Gratins. My son is not a cheese fan so he opted for the norvigene (smoked salmon in dill lemon and EVOO. I decided to stick with the house specialty; Landais Au Gratin (cream potatoes, duck breast and emmental cheese). The 2 German girls beside me ordered a cider with both their meals so I followed their lead. When in Paris...... Considering the temperature, I almost second-guess myself and ordered something other than their house specialty of au gratin potatoes. In the end, I was very glad I overruled that thought. Brody enjoyed his meal. He just appeared to still be hungry when it was done and a 16 year-old boy that normally has a high caloric intake, I can understand why he wanted a second meal after eating his first! The restaurant in the patio were quite crowded even though we had reservations. They still sat us within five minutes of arrival. Not that five minutes is a long time to wait, but it was still worth the wait as good as the food tasted. We both enjoyed our meals.

The Ravioli Dauphine was perfectly cheesy, just needed some extra salt. The Chickpea Fries and Warm Goat Cheese were nice starters, and I liked the bread basket that was given freely - especially the inclusion of a walnut raisin bread. We have gone into every place being polite and kind and were met with such hostility. He got even more snippy and rude when we declined to have wine or dessert, when we tried to ask any questions about the menu, even walking away from us while we were in the middle of speaking or asking a question. When he brought us food or drinks he nearly dropped it on the table and quickly sped off. Some other servers seemed nice to other guests, so maybe we got one on a bad day but still we felt really upset and uncomfortable with how we were treated, there is no reason for anyone in the service industry to be so rude especially when we were being so polite. You also get blocked into your seat, and are very close to other guests which is fine but you have to call the waiter to pull your table back out to get up or to go to your seat- to which they begrudgingly do so. The beef bourguignon was tasty, but we did not like how both my and my friend's order were brought in the same pot. This resulted in us having maybe 3 tiny potatoes each and not near as much meat as we hoped for. We were expecting to each have our own dish. This was certainly not worth the 36€ per person price point (nearly $80 USD for the one pot of food), and we left the restaurant still hungry and extremely upset and disappointed by the service. Overall I would not return or recommend.
