Le Rendez Vous in Deerfield Beach. The name alone sets you up. You walk in expecting a charming Parisian escape. What you get is... Deerfield with an accent. Based on the website and reputation, I was ready for magic. Maybe violins. Maybe a life changing espresso. Instead, I got average coffee and average gelato at a price point that suggests I also purchased partial ownership in the building. The coffee was fine. Not offensive. Not memorable. Just there. The gelato? Same story. Perfectly average. If this were a blind taste test at a gas station, I would have nodded politely and moved on with my life. But at these prices, I was expecting fireworks, a standing ovation, maybe a tiny Italian grandmother to pop out and hug me. The vibe tries hard. It really does. But at the end of the day, ambiance cannot carry a latte across the finish line by itself. Three stars. Not terrible. Not great. Just OK. I will be lowering my expectations for places that look like they're about to charge me extra for breathing the European air. Probably won't be back.

Had the choice between gelato and coffee so decided on a delicious espresso. I'm not a coffee snob but this euro blend not only smelled roasty but was smoooth and a well deserved night cap after dinner. They did have nice choices of gelato flavors and big pastries.

Nice variety of gelato flavors. I had the amarena, a dark cherry flavor with a yogurt base. My husband had pistachio which is not green because they don't add the artificial green coloring. Both were delicious They make crepes to order. Maybe next time. Yes, we had our dog Mona with us. She was a bit disappointed not to get a pup cup. But they did offer water.

Love this place!!!! Come here a lot for crepes! Love there it homemade gelato so delicious (pineapple is my favorite) this day we came with the family and my step daughter got the dippin dots and omg it was so full and delicious!

After dining at the Whale's Rib across the street my friend and I came over for a little after dinner dessert. I was impressed by how much they offered. They have French pastries, crepes, coffee including my favorite cappuccino, smoothies, shakes, and gelato. It is much more refined than your typical beach tourist ice cream shop. My friend and I were most interested in the gelato which we both love. It's only $4.44 for one scoop. I can close my eyes and imagine I am strolling the cobblestones of Rome. I have never been to Rome but a girl can dream. For those who might not know the difference between gelato and ice cream, both gelato and ice cream contain cream, milk and sugar but gelato uses more milk and less cream than ice cream . Gelato also omits egg yolks which are a common ingredient in ice cream. The result is that gelato is less fat, smoother, silkier, and denser than ice cream. It is also served 10 to 15 degrees warmer than ice cream which means that your tongue can taste more flavor but in the sun of Florida you are going to get a lot of drip. Fortunately we ate a table in the air conditioning. They offered a lot of the typical gelato flavors but they also had unique ones that I had never seen before like strawberry sorbet and cotton candy. We both ordered the After 8, a mint gelato studded with large pieces of chocolate. It was so refreshing and was just the perfect little bit of after dinner sweetness I was craving. Les Rendez-Vous is located just steps from the beach making it convenient to walk over. Now that it I know it is here I will be sure to come back and try the other European treats.

Okay it's been a while I have not done a review but this place truly deserves a review. The service is Excellent very welcoming and I tried a few samples.. absolutely wow it's absolutely delicious the yogurt black cherry is sweet and a little salty. Also the tiramisu was really good Thus far this is my favorite dessert place.

Had to come back it so good and I meant to take pictures before starting but I forgot as usual but that goes to show I couldn't wait to dig in nice area by the beach and the people are so nice !!!!

Came to this place after the beach to grab some coffee and saw they had crepes.... So we decided to give it a try! The lady that took care of us was very nice and made the espresso as ordered and the crepe from scratch... (they have the batter ready). So she made the crepe and after it was done folded it and then placed some real Nutella on top.... For me, would have liked some more Nutella but my wife was very pleased as she does not want it to sweet! The crepe alone was good which makes it a very good crepe... texture and flavor were both top! As for the coffee, very well made espresso as well with a notch of warm almond milk on the side! Will revisit this place for sure!

Our favorite stop recently for gelato. We have been here twice now and are very excited to return. Location Located in a busy strip with several other restaurants and can be easily missed. Parking is tough too so expect to do some walking. There is very limited seating once inside. Menu They have pastries, various types of gelato, crepes, hot chocolate, coffee and more. Their hot chocolate is very unique and taste more like a milk shake. I've been there twice and really enjoy their vanilla, which is yellow, gelato. Their sorbet options are yummy too. Price $$ - the quality of the food is great so well worth it in my eyes. Customer Service Very friendly older lady works there and she is the sweetest. Treats each customer so well and even though it takes a long time to make anything she does her best to keep the long lings moving. Would I return? Oh yes, sooner rather than later. I want to try their coffee and crepes for my next visit.
