Beef pho had good broth and noodles but the quality of the meat they put in it felt like a practical joke. Think of the nastiest parts you cut off a steak before you eat it and that is what was in the pho. Two of us had the beef pho and the meat was the same in both dishes. It looked so bad my wife couldn't finish her own food after seeing the meat from my dish. The vegetable drunken noodles were good and the pad cashew was also good. Leaving 1 star because I can't believe a cook could send out two dishes with essentially the throw away pieces of meat in them. read more

While traveling through the area I was craving Thai food and found this place. Absolutely amazing food and service was friendly and fast. Prices are a little on the higher end but comes with the territory. The inside was clean and quiet enough for a conversation over a meal. We had a poor meal recently: pad Thai had very chewy/gamey beef and the dish itself was dry and tasteless. The chicken in the Thai Fried Rice was overcooked and had the consistency of shoe leather. The Bags of Gold were so-so. The entire meal tasted like it was fresh two days ago and reheated. $60 later and we were sorely disappointed. Leela . Surely you know the grip you have on me and my family by now. Every time I come home to visit my family is like who wants leela Thai and everyone says aye. First of all the golden bag. Simply amazing because I live far away now and ALL The Thai restaurants where I live want to put crabs in their golden bags! I do not like crab golden bag, I do not like them sam I am. But I love leela thai golden bags. Perfect chefs kiss. How about pad Thai? Yes that's great too. I love you can have a real duck or a mock duck in it and also that they take you seriously if you want to light your mouth on fire with some spice!! Which I usually do. I have also eaten here in person and the service is fantabulous and so is the vibe. I tried mango sticky rice and I almost cried at the dinner table it was immaculate. So thank you leela. The pad thai was not great. Almost no sauce and no flavor to it. The curry was wonderful and delicious. The wait was the absolute worst. It was totally packed and..yeah..I get it that this is the best spot in town. But they need to manage the kitchen better. We ordered food, but it took ages to be served. The tall Thai lady was unwelcoming to her fellow Asians but all smiles with her American clients. She smirked when I asked about the dessert, which we had been waiting for a long time but had not yet received. She completely forgot one of our main dish orders. We've arrived at 11:00 am and were seated 5 minutes later, there were no other customers. We got our water at 11:18. We had to leave because the restaurant was filling up, but they didn't have any server. They did take our order, but there was no saying how long it will take to get our food. We have just begun to explore the Thai restaurants in town, and Leela was our first stop. Unfortunately, due to one us having a terrible headache we opted for take out, but the joint was hoping on a Saturday night! We ordered ahead of time using their online option and it worked well. Food was ready when we arrived. We kept it simple with Pad Thai, Chicken Satay, and Mango Sticky Rice. I found the Pad Thai just fine. I won't crave it, but it was ok. We had the standard and the slightly spicy version. The only real difference we noticed was a slightly smokier flavor with the increase in spice. I'd hoped for a bit more heat, but this was alright. The Chicken Satay with peanut sauce was perfect. Good flavor with the chicken and the sauce. I will crave this! Mango sticky rice was also good. Not too sweet and nice and juicy. All in all a good 7.5/10 Maybe we will change the rating after visiting the other Thai places in town, but for now...it's adequate. read more

TL;DR - Highly recommend this place! We had summer rolls with tofu, and satay to start. Both of these dishes were delicious and cooked to perfection. We shared an order of noodles. Requested a spice level of 3, and it was a little more intense than expected. Flavor was just great and would highly recommend. Of course as with most of my visits to a Thai place I washed it down with a cold cup of Thai Iced Coffee. The only problem we noticed was the lack of wait staff. There was just one person covering all the tables, and things seemed to move very slowly most of the time. Hopefully this was a one time thing. and they are not this understaffed all the time. I ordered Mussaman Curry and Jasmine rice through Uber Eats. The food arrived hot and packaged nicely. The curry was the worst I have ever had. It was sweet, sickening sweet. Not my taste at all...I have never had Mussaman curry that was sweet. I would never try this place again. read more
