I was told the haircut would be $60, so I booked it. When I arrived, I wasn't even sure I was at the right place because the business name didn't match. Turns out it's just a bunch of stylists renting chairs and advertising under their own names. The space itself is a weird little hole in the wall -- not inviting at all. The door was locked when I got there, and my stylist was nowhere to be found, so another customer -- still in a robe with product in her hair -- had to get up and unlock the front door for me. That set the tone for the rest of the visit. I tried to communicate what I wanted since it was my first time, but my stylist seemed far more interested in talking than listening, so I eventually just let her do her thing. Then we moved to the shampoo station, and the chair was absurdly small and uncomfortable. I mentioned it, and she just chuckled and said, "Yeah, it is pretty small." In the middle of washing my hair, she asked me, "Isn't this relaxing?" -- after I had just told her the chair was uncomfortable. Fluorescent lights blaring overhead, people chatting at full volume in a tiny space, and the world's smallest chair... relaxing is not the word I'd use. I just nodded so I didn't have to answer. Then, while still rinsing my hair, she asked if I wanted styling. I was confused and asked what she meant. She explained that styling would be an additional $60 and would require washing my hair twice. I declined -- I wasn't looking for rollers or anything like that, just a basic cut. We finished up, went back to the chair, and she said she'd dry my hair so I could see the cut better. She roughly dried it, left it still damp, and the haircut looked like something straight out of the early 2000s. At that point, I just wanted to leave. Before I could even stand up, she asked if I had Zelle. I said yes, but reminded her I was told they take credit cards. She said they do, but there'd be a fee and she'd prefer Zelle. I just paid it and got out of there. I walked out into the cold January air with damp hair and ended up with a headache. When I got home, my husband asked me if it was raining outside because of how my hair looked. I just blow-dried it myself and accepted that this was a reminder: make the appointment with the stylist you trust and know that they are doing, even if you have to wait.

I didn't feel welcomed at all. I had forgotten my wallet and needed to pay the deposit another way, so she offered to send me a payment link. I stood there waiting and mentioned I hadn't received it yet because I wanted to secure the appointment. Her response was, "Yeah, I'm doing it right now, you'll get it," but the tone came across very condescending and dismissive. I went home expecting the link shortly after, and now over 24 hours later, I still never received anything. Thankfully, I had a backup salon and was able to book elsewhere. It's disappointing because I genuinely enjoyed my previous visits and had spoken highly of this place before, but customer service and communication really matter.

The overall look, shape, and finish were quite different, and it wasn't what I had discussed beforehand. When I brought it up, I was told I should have specifically asked for gray coverage, which should be part of a basic consultation or at minimum asking the client if this is something they want. I also had uneven, patchy highlights. I returned the next day for a fix, requested a different stylist, and was denied. They said the same person could fix it all they needed to do was tone it down a bit, and cover the greys The "correction" resulted in my hair being taken darker overall, with the highlights essentially gone. I paid for highlights and left with dark hair. They told me eventually it should lighten down but I'm not seeing any improvement it's still really dark. To make matters worse I also left with visible dye on my forehead something I wouldn't expect after paying this price at a salon. Very disappointing experience and not one I would recommend I honestly wanted to cry. I really would have expected a partial refund or a proper correction by a more experienced stylist.

So incredibly blessed to have found this salon! Marina literally saved my life! Where do I even begin? I've been obsessed with Ombre for as long as I can remember and was always uneasy about it being done on my hair. I was terrified of it coming out like some boxed ombré you do at home. Well, one day, I decided I wanted a change for my hair and asked my stylist (not at Le Salon Complet) for an ombré. BAD IDEA. (don't ask someone for an ombré if they don't specialize in it, that was a big mistake on my part) the color was orange and contrasted, it didn't FADE like an ombré is supposed to... there was just a line. It looked like I had done it at home in about ten minutes. I was embarrassed to even be walking around with it on my head. I couldn't hide it no matter how hard I tried. Thankfully, while frantically searching on yelp I found Marina! There are no words to describe the AMAZING job she did on my hair. My hair was in terrible condition but Marina fixed it perfectly without frying off my hair as I assume my other "stylist" would have done. She did exactly what I had envisioned and it's been about 4 weeks or so and the compliments just keep coming. Thank you SO MUCH. Looking for a new stylist? Look no further. Marina is an amazing stylist who takes her time to listen to what customers want and delivers beyond expectations. I have not once left Marinas chair without feeling anything short of happy. I have been to several salons in the past and none have come close to my experience with Marina. I first came in with a major hair crisis years ago and Marina sat me down and assured me that she can fix the mess that another stylist from another salon had created and send me home with and its safe to say that I have been hooked to her and have been coming here for years. I've gotten everything done here from Brazilian blowout before a vacation to an updo for a wedding to ombre to belayage, cut, color, blow-dry to going dark and etc. There's nothing she can't do from my experience. Can't imagine going anywhere else but here and I will recommend anyone looking for a fabulous stylist to give her a shot and you'll be hooked. Promise! WOW where do I begin!!! This review is absolutely necessary, and long Overdue!!! I have had my hair dyed, cut, balayage, and ombré done by Marina at least 3 times and I'm looking forward to seeing her this coming month! I have received several continuous compliments after seeing Marina and I'm absolutely in Love with my hair! My hair is thick, and medium length and i love to have my hair as light as possible. Unfortunately due to the type of hair i have and the color desired i have encountered a few sad situations and have felt hopeless at times. But all that has changed since I've met with Marina!!! I want to express my sincere appreciation for Marina!!! She's absolutely amazing at what she does!!! I've been going to Marina at Le Salon Complet for 6 years and I'm not sure why I haven't written a review until now. I get my hair colored and cut every time I go, which is every 6 weeks. Which is to say that I have a lot of experience with Marina. Marina is sweet, and easy to hang out with while you're getting your hair done. And her cuts are great for my thick hair. The color is exactly what I want, and she styles it so well that I try to keep it for 2-3 days after. At this point, I consider Marina one of my friends. I highly recommend having your hair done by Kelly. She is is fantastic- she is so knowledgeable about different types of her she will make you look gorgeous every time you come see her. My mom and sisters get their haircut and dye here by Marina. They wouldn't let anyone else touch their hair. She does a great job at fair prices. They have been going to her for years. This review may be a little long, but Rabih truly deserves every word. After years of driving nearly an hour to see my previous hairstylist, I finally decided it was time for a change. Finding someone who truly understands naturally curly hair and can create the perfect copper/red color is not easy, so I spent a lot of time researching before I found Rabih. From the very beginning, the experience was outstanding. Scheduling was easy, and when I had a work conflict, Rabih was incredibly flexible and went out of his way to accommodate me by changing my appointment time on the same day. The moment I walked into the salon, I felt welcomed. Rabih is warm, friendly, and genuinely easy to talk to--you immediately feel like you've known him for years. I simply showed him one inspiration photo, and he understood exactly what I wanted. The results exceeded every expectation. My color turned out absolutely stunning. It's the rich copper shade I've been searching for, and my hair has never looked healthier. Rabih also gave me excellent advice on how to care for my naturally curly hair and recommended products to keep it healthy and vibrant. And the blowout... wow! My hair felt incredibly soft, silky, shiny, and full of life. I honestly couldn't stop looking at it. What impressed me even more was how efficient he is. He's fast without ever making you feel rushed. His confidence, skill, and attention to detail are remarkable. I walked out of the salon feeling beautiful, confident, and happier than I have after a hair appointment in a very long time. Rabih has absolutely earned a lifelong client. He also recommended products for me to use in my hair in order to avoid split ends. I will definitely be going back.

I searched for an open, safe environment once I was vaccinated and found myself back at Shear Beauty. I was amazed at the extreme measures they have taken to assure the safety of their patrons. I was equally pleased that Nora was still working as a hairdresser as well as Cassandra Skin Care still operating inside. Appointments are made by telephone and masked patrons may not enter until their specific appointment time. While I'm not familiar with all the working cosmetologists I did see that there was another patron very pleased with her manicure In progress. Nora was able to give me an excellent cut working with what was initially a disaster and with separate appointment, Cassandra (Cassandra Skin Care) did a fabulous job on these old squirrelly brows! I wanted something red and brown but nothing too crazy. I wanted my hair too look like one color in low lighting, but some different out or with more lighting. I wasn't sure if I wanted red highlights with brown or vise versa. I already had some color and highlights on my hair so it was suggested that would still be able to get the look by mixing the two colors I wanted. She was right and it came out great! :) I love how I can see the pop of colors when I'm out during the day. :) I almost forgot to mention who I met with. Hair stylist Madonna - great customer service and very helpful with my color suggestions. The rest of the staff were also very nice and inviting. The salon has made some upgrades from the last time I was there and it's looking really nice! More upgrades to come and I'm really looking forward to it. I recommend this salon. It's nice, the price is right, and plenty of parking spaces. :)
