Le Le is the BEST! She had a hand in all of my wedding outfits - from my rehearsal dinner pantsuit to my wedding dress, to my husband's suit and my sister's dress. She's an artist and makes sure everything is absolutely perfect. In addition to perfectly altering my dress, she made me a cape (instead of a traditional veil) that snapped into my dress, draping sleeves that she took extra lace appliqués from my train and hand-sewed onto, and then straps to change into for dancing! AND a beautiful 5-point bustle that perfectly shaped the dress. (Will add pics of the straps & bustle once I have them.) As soon as we walked in I felt I was being rushed in and out of the store I was quoted 160 before going in and then she quoted me $320 after going in and she kept complaining about how hard it'd be for her to do my dress which was frustrating considering it's her job. she also was picking by at the stones on my dress to prove it was gonna be hard and did not stop until she got one off and i had not asked her to do that I also did not say I wanted her to do the service either but she still continued to pick at and pull off a stone from my dress. The owner did very well with keeping in contact with me. I went back in person with her and she explained to me the work they did and showed me where on both the pants and jacket where work was completed. I can say that I was wrong and that work was done on the jacket and the pants and I was explained that there was just not enough material to expand it enough to where it would tear. The owner also steamed both the pants and jacket while I was there (I didn't ask) and she refunded me 50% of the cost which she offered. I am grateful that she was staying in contact with me and did the best she could to make things right. She explained to me about the comments that were made by someone else that there is a language barrier and that is their culture. I completely understand that and respect that, but also, I still feel like they should know their clientele and still watch what is said to whomever the clientele is. If I could give 10 stars, I would! I needed a dress altered for a black tie event in a rush. I used Yelp Projects to request help, and Le Tailor was one of three shops that responded. Based on her reviews, I chose her -- despite the 30 minute drive from my home in Phoenix to her shop in Chandler. After seeing g her work, I'd drive 90 minutes to have her work on my dresses. I was just going to have her take in the side and hem the dress. While she was pinning it, her really looked at how the dress you look best on me and suggested a few extra alterations. I am glad I followed her advice as the dress look infinitely better with her suggestions. She took in the side of a dress with mesh inlay and a zipper; removed a sleeve to adjust a shoulder and then reattached the sleeve; and hemmed the dress. The finished product was flawless! Absolutely flawless! I'll be making the drive to Chandler anytime I need something altered. read more
