I can't tell you how thrilled I am that I booked an appointment with Taylor because she brought my hair back to life and made my transition to her (a new stylist to me) seamless. My experience was a 10/10. I'll share more below :) What brought me to Taylor was the fact that my long term stylist had retired suddenly. Sadly I wasn't able to get my original color numbers from that stylist and had the stress of looking for a new hairdresser. Finding a hairstylist in Camarillo was initially rougher than I imagined - so many salons either didn't return my calls or were charging double what my old stylist did. I am so lucky I found Taylor through a mutual friend who is a client of hers and by chance this salon is also in my neighborhood. When I reached out to Taylor on social media she immediately responded. She was so sweet and helpful navigating my questions and made me feel confident that she could mirror the coloring and styling that my old hairdresser did. Taylor also could book me within two weeks AND was the MOST affordable compared to everyone else I spoke to at other salons. Walking into Le Tress Couture salon I felt right at home. The salon itself is darling, super fun - glamorous - yet professional. I was immediately offered water or a mimosa upon walking in. Taylor made me feel like I had known her forever and is beautiful inside and out, I felt so comfortable which is a big deal for me. Taylor is a Pro because I gave her one tiny photo to go off of for my old hair color and ombré effect and she nailed it! Like literally I still can't believe it. Do you know how hard it is to recreate a hair color off an old small photo? But Taylor did it - just shows you how good at the hair arts she is. Taylor really brought my hair back to life and all of my friends were impressed when they saw it. She nailed it and the salon was so cute inside. Loved the girly vibes of everyone just getting along and customers chatting, it's a place you don't mind sitting for an hour or two because it feels like a treat. Again, reasonably priced salon with A+ stylists like Taylor here. I'd highly recommend her and definitely have a new local stylist that I love. I'm already booked with her to be back soon. Next time I promise to take some pictures of the salon itself and update them here with my review. But trust me it's a cute place. Also pro tip they also do facials and have an esthetician here. The prices for facials here on their menu board looked super reasonable and I'm definitely going to come back for a facial in the future. Very rude and uncourteous owner. I have had a few bad hair experiences over the decades but to the point where a stylists gets unnecessarily confrontational and defensive with long rude tactless texts to me - is a first - simply because I had asked that she provide a text confirmation on the rate we agreed to have my hair extensions refitted, since a previous hair dresser had overcharged me regardless that she had refitted less extensions than normal. When I went to Le Tress Couture over 2 weeks ago, I met with their owner who frankly talks too much - thats already a red flag. She had provided a reasonable estimate and said she would meet and beat the prior stylists rates. However, she never sent me the text to confirm this as promised - red flag number 2. So when I received countless texts to confirm my appointment for this week I simply responded that I would still go to my appointment provided the owner sent me a written rate as agreed. I received it today with a written tongue text lashing. It boggles the mind that the arrogance of so called service providers in this town dont realize that there are always more salons one can go to and fewer clients - you need only to offend one - and many will in time go elsewhere. Pity there is no zero starts - but there is the Better Business Bureau to whom she has been reported. read more

I was just on a walk with my dog and I stopped in to this hair salon to see what was going on, because there were balloons and sounded like a party. The owner, Kelli, was soooooo awesome. She invited me in and was just so outgoing and friendly and told me to come back after my walk and she would wash my hair and introduce me to these products. Took my dog home and went back to the salon. Everyone there was so friendly and welcoming. She immediately sat me down, washed my hair and then blow dryed it using Monat products. Made my hair look better that it has looked in a long time and then was done. SHE DID NOT CHARGE ME A CENT. I tried to give her a tip and again would not take it. Who does something like this. Kelli is such a talented, honest, knowledgeable, friendly and just all around amazing person. I went in with one thing in mind and she did me one better. I havent had a professional haircut in over 5 years because I didnt want to lose the length of my hair after it breaking off due to a chemical cut. I originally just was looking for someone to cut my bangs but after talking to her and sharing my story, she recommended I at least start trimming the dead stuff off. Unlike anyone else who I've seen before, she not only suggested it, she explained why she knew it was a good idea. She checked with me on the length and made sure she didnt cut to much off. Some people can get scissor happy and she is not one of those. She is really great to be around too which makes the experience way less awkward than what I'm used to. If she's with a client, you can always text, and she'll respond. My first visit, I came for a consultation. I wanted blue hair and extensions. She listened to exactly what I wanted. I was in love with what she did. I've worn tape-ins for several years, but her application has been the best. I had my extensions in for almost exactly 8 weeks and none fell out and I had no problems at all. She went the extra mile and matched my hair to the extensions even though it wasn't a dramatic difference. I've gotten so many compliments since she dyed my hair. The blue color lasted longer than any fantasy color I've ever done before. I gave her a reference photo and she went with it and dyed my hair in different shades to give me great, fun dimensions.
