Wow! Where do I start?! I've been suffering with adult acne for about 4 years now and I must say ever since I've been going to Lea my skin has transformed dramatically! I too received a gift certificate hidden inside The Eigard Method book. I won this book at a goofy bridal shower and almost gave the book away until this golden ticket fell from the pages. I saw it was worth $150 so I figured, why not book an appointment. Drove to Bev Hills, got free parking, was greeted by lovely staff, got relaxed and Lea came into the room. She's a petite lady with very intense eyes. I was a little unnerved because she didn't seem nice. But that all changed. Girlfriend went to work on my face like Michaelangelo to the Sistine Chapel. It was painful extractions and she reprimanded me about my diet. I didn't care though. It felt like an aunt yelling at you for having poor table manners at tea. In the end kids, this is THE BEST facial I've ever had. Now it's true, her prices are as high as giraffe p*ssy, but it's worth every dime. Lea is a miracle worker. OMG the things she can do with your face!!! They have every facial/skin service there is. I went in for a facial with micro-dermabrasion. My roomie Cindy M. goes to Lea once a month. She swears by it. So, she gave me a $150 gift certificate for Christmas. It took me about 6 months before I actually made an appointment. I have to say, that was the only time I've been. They place is fantastic, but it's definitely high end skin care. It's Beverly Hills... what else can I say? The waiting and reception area was small but beautifully furnished. You walk into the back and there are about 5 rooms. Each chair... well it's not really a chair... more like a bed have heated comforters you can crawl into. It's so comfortable and relaxing. I thought to myself... this place is awesome. Then the assistant comes in and turns on the mister. I was about to fall asleep when Lea came in and the pain started. First was the cleaning of the pores (lots of squeezing). Not the most comfortable. But that was the easy part. When the micro-dermabrasion started, I thought I was going to die. It's like she literally takes a sand blaster to your face. DO NOT OPEN YOUR MOUTH!!!! Don't talk to her, just keep you mouth nice and tight. You'll find sand in your mouth for a week if you don't take my advice. So 2 masks later I was ready to go. Then, I saw the bill and almost fainted. Okay, so I bought some products too, but seriously, I paid another $200 AFTER the $150 gift certificate. Again... it's Beverly Hills and Lea does do a fantastic job. Your face will be red for about a day. Then there will be some peeling. After about 3 days, you'll have bright new skin that's silky smooth. If you can afford the services of Lea... GO!!! I highly recommend it. read more

My beloved facialist I used to see monthly literally disappeared and so, desperate to find a new spa, I saw a Gilt City offer for Lea Advanced Skin Care and bought it after reading the amazing reviews of this place. I was hesitant to let anyone near my skin other than the lady I trusted who literally transformed me over the past two years. Maybe because it was a Gilt offer and a "european facial" which I don't see listed on her actual website, but it wasn't even worth the discounted price I paid. It wasn't with Lea, which I expected considering it was a voucher deal, but I give myself better facials at home. The european facial consisted of a face wash, a mask, a bit of high frequency to kill bacteria, and a half-assed facial massage (I'd call it more a moisturizer application than a massage). No extractions at all. I can still see the clogged pores on my face and it just feels overly dry. Not returning. read more
