    Ugh I knew this was going to be a lackluster experience before I even arrived. I was looking forward to bringing my whole family (4 people total) here for a spa day and had booked everybody's services under my account but under their names. Even that was a hassle because they only had 3 estheticians and only some could do certain services, so there was quite a bit of back and forth trying to create a feasible schedule. Two days before our spa day, I received a call from a receptionist to confirm the details. He was requesting details like who would have what service - details I already provided upfront when I booked online and details I could even see from my account. I received another call 10 minutes later from a different receptionist and she asked whether her colleague had just called me...she wanted to confirm the exact same details even though I told her AGAIN that I had already provided this information and that if they needed anything, I would take care of it day of. Arriving at the spa, my family had to re-complete waivers for their services - this is partially our fault since my family had filled out massage waivers when we were getting facials. However, it would have made more sense for them to have received the necessary waiver via email instead of having them dig around online for the right one. We were asked AGAIN who was getting what service and needed to confirm a lot of the same details we had already provided. The actual services were lovely though and I have only glowing praise for the estheticians because they were highly professional and the whole family looked radiantly refreshed afterward. The checkout process tainted my good mood though because I was asked yet again what services we were paying for. I spent about $1K that day and had embarrassingly terrible customer service - embarrassed for Hiatus and for my family who I was trying to treat to a nice day. This place does not feel like a luxury experience and I would not recommend anyone coming here unless you have saintly patience and really want to try it out...

    Loved my experience at Hiatus Spa Fort Worth that I became a member! The Inwood Village and The Hill are the closest locations to me and I love how they all have this boho aesthetic but they're all unique. I strongly recommend Hiatus spa for skincare (facials, brow and lash tint), massages (sports, pregnancy, unwind), mani/pesos, body wraps, and their Med Spa. I'm a sucker for their add ons and frequently opt for lip plumper, scalp massage, or reflexology. Trust me, that significant other in your life will THANK YOU

    Hiatus is the best spa I've ever been to - and I've been to a lot. They are incredibly inclusive and have a beautiful, serene environment. As a plus size woman, I always feel nervous in a new spa environment regarding robes and the experience. Hiatus has 3 robe sizes and 3 shoe sizes out on display without even having to ask someone for a different size. The sizes are standard, 2XL, and 4XL. Their membership is also an amazing deal. $69 a month gets you a free mani/pedi, signature facial or massage along with discounts on their other services.

This lack of transparency is extremely concerning, especially given that I was a minor at the time. I feel misled and taken advantage of. Pricing should be clearly communicated and agreed upon before any service is performed, particularly when working with younger clients. I strongly urge others to be cautious, ask for written pricing upfront, and fully confirm costs before proceeding with any treatment here.

This discrepancy constitutes misleading advertising and induced me to schedule a visit under false assumptions. I informed the nurse and front desk that I was not going to waste my time or a copay under those circumstances, thanked them, and walked out.

A staff member, who I strongly suspect had little to no experience, administered tear trough filler after talking me into it. The results were immediately wrong. I asked for it to be dissolved right away. What followed was weeks of runaround. They had me return every two weeks, and with each visit their attitude worsened, especially once I declined their repeated pressure to purchase additional services. I came in wanting a small, natural result. They saw a revenue opportunity. After multiple attempts, they were unable to fully dissolve the filler. I am now seeking treatment from a licensed dermatologist to fix what they could not. The practice is run by someone with no medical credentials, not a physician, not a nurse practitioner, not an aesthetician with any verifiable expertise. The medical authority here appears to be a nurse who seemed undertrained for the procedures being performed. A medical spa performing injectables should be overseen by a licensed physician on site. This one is not. If something goes wrong, and it did for me, there is no qualified person there to fix it. Avoid this place. The consequences can be permanent.

After having a virtual consult I was then put on a regimen of HQ and retinol among other skincare products that were recommended (my skin didn't really tolerate HQ too well) and this regimen seemed to have helped my skin for the time being, but then something horrible happened to the melasma on my face!! My skin has darkened to the point I can barely cover it with makeup ( I literally cry when I look at my face in the mirror because of how dark the HQ has made the melasma on my face. I don't even know how to reverse this damage and I feel so hopeless because now it seems I have to pay hundreds if not thousands of dollars to correct this skin issue that was never this bad. I was told to buy more products which cost hundreds of dollars to now correct this reaction. I wish there was more caution or emphasis on how delicate HQ can be for someone's skin!

First, let me give credit where it's due: Louis, you killed it as always. Your dedication, your artistry, and your commitment to giving the best possible service never go unnoticed. Even though the cat-eye design wasn't possible this time, my nails still look amazing because of your skill and professionalism. Thank you for consistently showing pride in your work. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about my pedicure experience. I came in with a clear vision and even showed the design the same one Louis understood immediately but the nail tech doing my pedicure could not execute it. After five attempts, I was almost sent out the door with something that looked like a tic‑tac‑toe board. At that point, I had to advocate for myself and say, "No, this is not what I asked for," and request that it be removed and replaced with a simple cat-eye. What made it worse was the lack of basic care. He didn't even clean around the toes properly you can still see black and dark blue around the nail beds. That alone shows a lack of attention and professionalism. What frustrated me most wasn't just the inability to do the design it was the lack of honesty. Instead of admitting he didn't know how to do it, he was willing to let me leave with a kindergarten-level design and still pay full price for a service that wasn't delivered. Even after the correction, I left very dissatisfied and disappointed with the pedicure overall. And yes, like I always do, I still paid and tipped generously. But I will not be returning. I'm nobody's fool, and I refuse to be taken advantage of. To Louis, thank you for your outstanding work, your consistency, and your genuine customer care. You are the reason I stayed as long as I did.
