What has been most concerning is not the issue itself, but the lack of follow-through after responsibility was acknowledged in writing. This has resulted in an ongoing disruption to our home and a very frustrating experience. If you choose to work with this company, I would strongly recommend documenting everything clearly and confirming responsibility in writing before any work begins.

He was professional and seemed very knowledgable. We decided to rent instead of buy to make any equipment problems we had the renting company's problem. All went well until we received the rental agreement. There is a clause under the "REMEDIES" section that's reads: "Take possession of the Equipment, without demand or notice, wherever same may be located, without any court order or other process of law. Customer waives any and all damage occasioned by such taking of possession;" Anyone who would agree to this clause deserves what happens to them. I seriously doubt its legality, but don't want to test it either. I simply do not want to deal with a company that would ever expect a customer to agree to such a heinous possibility, although I'm sure most sign the contract not having read it. Be very aware of this clause. If it's in there, they CAN use it! This company is regrettably not a company we would ever choose to associate with. We bought elsewhere.

Early the next morning, I had a message from Adam B. Once I got to work, I returned the call and quickly described my issue and what I believed it to be. The first available appointment wasn't until Monday (it wasn't urgent, so I wasn't worried about going the weekend). I got my timeframe. I had a couple other appointments that day, so I ended up taking the day off so I could easily be available. I immediately liked that they told me who would be arriving - AND that was who arrived. I also liked that they use a customer portal that allows you to have some security if you pay online or to review your records. Christian arrived (there was one other person with him). It took him a couple minutes to diagnose the issue he believed it to be, and it took him not a lot longer to determine that diagnosis correct. He quoted the price, I agreed, and he got to work. After finishing the work, he determined the original issue I'd believed it to be wasn't quite needing to be addressed (but will be in the near future). We discussed options, including ways I could save a bit. Christian was personable and explained things in a way I could understand. The issue was likely caused by me, but he managed to avoid using the word "idiot" at any point. The repair was done in a timely manner. The price ended up being a bit lower than quoted. I appreciated his honesty as he very easily could have pointed me toward a repair not needing done yet. It also became obvious the last person I'd used had really only done half the job. Everything has worked beautifully since Christian finished. There are likely a couple more projects I'll tackle in the near future, and I won't hesitate to return to Grateful Plumber. The housecall was $59, but that was credited toward the repair once I decided to have them do the work. Friendly employees. Good follow-through. Fair pricing. Quality work. Problem solved. That's 5-star for me and another winner for Yelp's project feature.

I called the grateful plumber as soon as I had a chance , because of everything that is going on. The voice mail said that cancellations done in less than 24 hours would still require the service fee. I left a message and cancelled the appointment then I get a text that their service guy is on his way. I called back and talked with the owner I'm assuming and he said he is charging us a service fee anyway. That it was too late to call off his guys and that they had been holding this spot for me. It was scheduled for today, June 24. The delivery schedule was from 8 a.m. to 5p.m. A nine hour window for service. Text and calls went unanswered to get a time frame. At 4 pm I contracted with another company for future salt delivery. I don't know if the aqua systems sold, they grew too fast, what happened but it is disappointing.
