We also purchased an additional warranty plan, which we canceled within the cancelation period due to multiple factors. The cancelation was official on April 15, 2020, however it took until August for our return to be released from the warranty company. That wouldn't have been a problem, however Brent cashed that refund check on Aug 4, 2020 and never gave it to us. My husband and I have spent countless hours texting, calling, emailing Brent to refund us the money. The last time we spoke to him he sent $150 and promised to send the remaining $515 on the Monday (2 days away), which he never did. Now he is MIA again. He spent a lot of time using phrases like 'to be honest' while apologizing for taking so long and ignoring us, but he has not made right of the situation yet. It has been over a year since cancellation! At this point, I will have to file a small claims case in our county to get the refund back.

I've had my 2024 Toyota 4Runner XSeries Off Road Premium in Solar Octane for nearly two weeks now and I am absolutely over the moon with it. I was looking to buy a 5th generation Toyota 4Runner and Cobb County Toyota had the perfect one in stock. The truck was well represented in photos and the price was a great deal compared to similar cars on the market. When it came time to make a deal, they didn't add any extra fees or try to add "mandatory" maintenance plans. The price the car was listed for was the price I paid, plus a nominal tag fee and taxes. My salesperson, Gabriel, was incredibly nice, patient, and not overly pushy. He worked with the finance manager to get me a fair offer for my trade-in. They do try to sell warranty/maintenance plans once you make it back to a finance guy, but he wasn't overly pushy when I declined them which was much appreciated. In the next year, I'll be in the market for an A91 Supra and Cobb County Toyota will definitely be the first place I consider looking.

These are not minor concerns--this is a major safety issue that could lead to engine failure. Despite bringing this to their attention multiple times, I've been given the runaround instead of real solutions. What's even worse is that while my car is still not properly fixed, CarMax Auto Finance continues to harass me with constant calls and messages about payments. How am I expected to confidently pay for a vehicle that is unreliable and unsafe? Customer service has been completely unhelpful. There is no accountability, no urgency, and no concern for the customer's safety or satisfaction. It feels like once they make the sale, they no longer care about what happens to you. I trusted CarMax to provide a reliable vehicle and a smooth buying experience, but instead I've been left stressed, inconvenienced, and stuck with a defective car. Lo and behold I tracked my vehicle in the evening only to find out that the service manager had taken my vehicle off of the premises... Drove it almost 40 miles to his home! Parked my car in his garage... like it was his....And kept my car at his home, overnight! All without my permission... !!!! He literally took my car for a night! Quite possibly longer because I didn't check the previous nights... Like, who does this?

Have to be careful choosing a car here. They buy a bunch of cars from auction with a bank loan…read more The bank has the titles so you have to pay a title fee and "docs" fee because they don't own the cars. They don't know what they have in the lot. They wait for customers to find out what's wrong with the cars. Every car in there system shows that they are losing money on the sale. That's a sales technique. They won't lower the price for you but they will lower it if it's not bought in a period of time. Buyer beware. We had a fair experience but you need to check out the car with a separate mechanic first.
