I can only write this review for Mark with the company. We met him first in 2022 when our pipes burst on Christmas Eve. The nicest guy! He fixed us up and charged a fair price even after working an exhausting day of busted pipes all over the city! We recently called for his help again. Our laundry room was giving off a rotten egg odor. Mark knew before looking at anything what the problem was. (Spoiler Alert: it wasn't the laundry room at all). Do not use this plumber the owner Mark does subpar, careless work, almost catching my house on fire with a ill installed hot water heater and is not an honest business man. Thank God my husband and I were home for the day when I realised there was no hot water prompting us to step into the garage to find the hot water heater on fire, requiring a fire extinguisher and a call to 911 plus it was leaking everywhere. I attempted to contact him by phone with 12-15 calls in total from multiple numbers, text messages (a number he previously texted me on) and emails through his website where I have been left with no response still to this day. Both the unit and his work were still under warranty (an additional cost I paid directly to him) I expected some response considering his highly recommended status locally, instead I was left with paying another plumber to install a new hot water heater less than a week before Christmas. Additionally, I have been left to fight with the manufacturer to warranty the heater which resulted in receiving less than a $400 refund from the company when his work and the unit should have been fully covered under the purchased warranty resulting in full replacement. I paid $2300 for the unit, work and an additional warranty to only find out with the equipment used was subpar (likely purchased on some discount or discontinued item list) and the lack of updated piping and pressure valve (20 yr old home) should have only cost me roughly $1000. Not to mention the fact he did not properly install/wire the unit hence sparking the fire, I could have lost my pets, home and all the contents within. Now weeks later still no response from Mark or anyone else from Leader plumbing assuming there is anyone else besides him after two certified letters also mailed. A reputable businessman I am finding he is NOT from interactions I have had to try and locate him and ensure warranty of the work and item installed. read more

The first time they did work for us, they did a wonderful job, professional and reasonably priced. This time I called a week ago, they came out and said it would be the beginning of the week before they could get us scheduled, they would call me by Friday to schedule. Friday I called and left a message, they never returned the call. Monday I called and left 2 messages and no one ever called back. Today I called and left another message, again no one ever called back. Unprofessional, untimely and unresponsive has been my experience this time around. read more

All the work was completed in a professional and timely manner at a fair price. It was a relief to have an experienced professional solve my issue. We had been without kitchen faucet for a week because no one could fit us in. We called Leader Plumbing early one Saturday morning and left a message. We were contacted back and put on the list for first thing Monday morning. Within an hour, Mark called back and said he could here in 20 minutes and do the repairs that day. Last week I had these plumbers come to my house because I had noises in my pipes that were drivinf me crazy. When the plumber got there, he went directly to the outside faucet on my home and did a "pressure check". He informed me that the pressure regulator needed to be changed and the noises were due to the piece being faulty. I was'nt sure whether I was getting the sales pitch or not, so I told him I wanted a second opinion. Long story short, the plumber was befuttled that I did not want to pay for something that I was unsure of. I called another company out and they told me the same thing. The only difference was that the second company (I will not name) wanted twice the price to do the job. When I called Leader plumbing the second time, they said they could get back out, but I would have to wait a day. I do not know if this was b/c I did not let them do the work originally or not (they insisted not), but they did come the next day and replace the part. It fixed my problem and did'nt cost as near as much as the other company. I am pleased with the work I just wish they could have come out the day I called.
