They are even guiding us how to do the FAFSA, FastWEb.com for scholarships, and how to write a college application Personal Statement, and that is TLC, which explains the ECT! My 16yo, a sophmore, already did her first SAT test = 1100. Great start. She needed help with math as well as essays. Mikayla's plan is methodical and follows a road map. Great relief for mom, here, who does not know how to nagivate all this college prep. Where are the High School Counselors you ask? "You need help writing essays? We don't do that here. Your teacher assumes you already know how to do that. How did you get this far and not know how to write an essay? There is nothing here for you. Go to a different school... I don't know.. . Go hire a private tutor. - we can't help you here." (yes, this was an actual conversation . Imagine my son's hopelessness and depression regarding school.) Really the best advice ever. So we did. That afternoon we walked across the street from MLK to TUTORING ETC. We were prepared for more "Sorry, you are too far gone, what is wrong with you, your grades can't be fixed" discussions. What a relief for us!!!! can't say enough good. The ETC is far beyond highschool tutoring. Money well spent. I expected 3 or 4 stars... THIS 5 STARS!! Well, a month before he was supposed to submit his essays he decided that he did not like what he wrote and that it wasn't representing who he was. In a panic mode we contacted Greg to help. In just a month they were able to do an incredible common app essay and over 10 supplemental essays for all the EAs my son was sending out. I did that this summer in preparing for the LSAT and I was very pleased with my experience. I took the Blueprint Live course over the summer with Chris Whyte and I felt good the moment I walked in the class. Chris was not only really nice, but he was really funny and very clear in letting me know how he and the course would help me. I felt like I had everything I needed to succeed, from start to finish. Blueprint gave me all the resources to I needed to increase my score. From my from my first practice test to my second, I increased my score by 15 points (keep in mind they give six tests throughout the course). I was very happy when I got my actual score back. Curriculum aside, none of this would have been possible without the help of Chris. It never felt Like I was in a class with him. It was like I was at a stand up comedy show where I learned something at the end. I know Blueprint has a lot of instructors, but if you aren't talking about Chris Whyte, you are have the wrong conversation. I'm President of the Black Law Student Association and we were able to bring him out to talk about the Law School Application Process. The room was packed and all of our members were very happy with the event. I highly recommend him in anything LSAT related. Overall, I recommend Blueprint LSAT. If you want an LSAT course that will give you all the resources you need to do well and increase your score on the LSAT, you can't go wrong with Blueprint.

The current manager(young man) was good in reassuring me of my doubts and clearly spoke to me about all the questions I had. The owner couldn't answer most of my questions clearly which was very frustrating. The center is cramped though pretty small but not too bad. Took my son out because the manager is doing everything himself with no help from the owner which was troubling as other Kumon's have interactive owners but the lack of help from the owner and lesser management was discouraging.
