Got one gutter replaced almost two weeks ago. The price quoted included new fascia. The installer said he did not need to replace the fascia. The payment posted the day after installation. I am still trying to get the credit for the work and supplies that were not needed. Our salesman tells me the office will call. They don't and no credit has been posted. Very disappointed. read more

The burden really shouldn't be on me to end the phone harassment from your company. Ryan H indicates taht the Do Not Call list didn't do any good. These are robo calls are coming from two states and in the past few days there have been more than 40 calls and they're still coming at the rate of 3-5 per day. I'll block the numbers but shame on LeafFilter for being so overly aggressive. You'll never get my business and I'll be more than happy to share my opinion with others to beware. read more

Business must be good. Was hung up on twice. Live in a condo with some shared gutters. They were not interested in having me contact neighbors to solicit potentially 16 additional installations. The big hang up apparently was the shared gutters and getting paid by multiple owners. I saw the LeafFilter commercials and it seemed to be a good product so I hired them. When putting the filter on the gutters they did damage to the edges of our new in April roof. They left before I was able to check their work. Shingle nails were found all around the house and you could see the damage. I called and they sent out a supervisor that said "we don't do roofing". Called again and a different supervisor was sent out. He told me to get estimates and they would take care of it. I looked Andrew A. In the eye and ask if I could trust him to get it repaired. We shook hands on it. I sent in the estimates months ago. Never got any response I finally paid to have it fixed myself. The product seems good but the service is horrible. They tell you lies than drive away. Make sure you go over their work while they are at your home because they are not coming back!! Very disappointing. read more

I got leaf filter a couple of years ago, at the time I thought the salesman was a little pushy but he sold what seemed to be a good product. The warranty I have found is a joke, it is only for a year. I have had to get up on a ladder a couple of times a year to clean off the packed debris and this was from the very beginning. They sent non english speaking people to install. They installed a corner bracket that catches all kinds of stuff so the water runs over the gutters instead of in them. I would definitely not recommend leaf filter as I don't feel they back the product and it is very expensive. read more

Original quote was $13,000. Then when I stated that was too high all of a sudden he was able to offer me a promotion which brought it down to $6600. When I then decided to cancel that it was still too high they offered me a price of $4600. So How does a quote go from $13,000 down to $4600. Went with an independent contractor who quoted me $1800. The product itself is great, the instalation and customer service after we paid was horrible. Especially with the operations manager Rick. We paid 4000.00 to have these installed on a Monday, Friday we had a big rain and the main down spout was clogged, I had to go out and pull it down and unclog it. I immediately called the service line but they could not get anyone out to look at it. It took them 3 days do finally get out to the house and inspect it again. I had to follow up 3 times i never received a call back until Rick finally called back after they came out 4 days later. The satisfaction money back guarantee is just a scam, as I was not satisfied that the scope of work was not done as I was told it would be. Make sure if you use this company to go out and watch everything the installers do. I was told all the down spouts would be removed and checked for clogs and they were not. Rick the operations manager proceeded to tell me because I went out and fixed it i broke the warranty agreement and sould have let the water just back up so it could run into my basement, that was the last straw for me and our conversation ended. Again great product but terrible service after the installation. again 4000.00 and I had to go out in the rain and fix what they were supposed to. read more

I purchased a whole house gutter system at 3100.00. When there was a problem 4 years later i am being asked to pay 95.00 for them to come out to see if it is a problem! The "the life time warrenty" promise is a scam! That warrenty is why i went with them. Beware others can do this service for so much less! Ill be hitting the BBB as well. When 2 contractors tell you the same thing its time to sit up and listen! I will update this with my resolve. 11/27 project mgr said "the company policy had changed a few years ago and there is now a fee to come out". I explained that i purchased with no info that there was a fee to come out to look at damage or errors. Project manager said its the new rule. I explained that the new policy should be for people signing contracts from that change date forward. He was basicly non empathetic and made a lot of excuses. I will keep you posted. read more

had pretty high hopes for this company. i read the reviews on Google before we purchased from them. Google has them rated at 4.5 stars. wish i would have thought to look here. when they were installing one of the gutters, hubby told them i wasn't going to work the way it was configured. The installer (who knows everything) poo-pooed hubby and told him it would, and if it didn't they would correct it immediatley. so about 2 weeks later we get a "moderate for Louisiana" rain. gutter failed miserably, water overflowing and gushing over the top. at this point we have called about 8 times, have had 2 appointment (which no one showed). NOT happy. always get a very friendly operator who will expedite us to the top of the list!!! yeah, right. promise to send a email ASAP to district guy. sure. finally got someone to call us back. explained the situation (again) and are told to correct the situation it will be $200. Hubby went ballistic!. guy tried to double talk him about the contract that we signed, but lets just say, hubby is good at arguing a point. so, supposedly we should have someone out here in about 10 days to rectify the situation. i am NOT confident that they will even show. twice they actually said that they came out here to look at the situation, and we were not here. no call nothing, and we kind of live out in the sticks. don't believe for a second they drove all the way out here without a call. were retired, here all the time. i read each of the above reviews with a sinking feeling, because, every one sounded like the experience we are having. look elsewhere. trust me. read more

RIPOFF!! They charged me $5000 to install guards on a 950 sf home. Three years later, the screens are broken and popping out. They want a $100 service charge to repair their shoddy job. So much for a lifetime warranty. read more

First off, their sales process is ridiculous. They send somebody out very quickly when you request a quote. Then get give you a high price but say if you make a decision same day they will give a discount. This is so you dont get other quotes and find out their prices are crazy high. They want $17.50 a foot for their gutter guard installed. The salesman/estimators are very aggressive. My mother is a little old lady and he tried pressuring her into doing this. Which included multiple texts and phones calls and calling her rude and disgusting for not calling him back within the same day. He even called her at almost 11 PM one night. I called and discussed with the branch "manager" who offered to requote the work at a reduced price. His reduced price came in higher for new gutters than the original quote from the salesman. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if you need this type of work! read more

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. We spent almost $4k with Leaf Filter. They do not work! We have had them out a few times and its "never their fault". There are always excuses as to why we have water overflowing the gutters! Now we have ice damming up and causing terrible ice build up on our roof. They came out and of course say its not their fault! Well it didn't happen before we had these. We have "snow/ice" inside our house because of the build up going back into the roof! Please don't use this company. They seem good but they cause nothing but problems and their warranty is a scam! read more
