I brought in a costume dress/overcoat that needed to be taken in, shortened and have straps added to hold up the mask area. That sounds like a tall order, right? It was and this business delivered. After the first alteration, I needed it taken in more. They did and I am happy with the result. I think the price asked was a little high, but still fair for all I asked to be done. If something went wrong with the work I wasn't going to be able to replace the coat. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the shop and met the owner Lou. He is everything thing you would expect a tailor to be right down to the tape measure around his neck and the pins in his lapel. He knew exactly what needed to be done and gave me such confidence that I told him to hold off writing up the ticket because I was going home to get some additional jackets for him to work on. Don't expect to get your alterations back in a day or so because this is a one man shop and he gets very busy. When you do get your alterations back they will be perfect. All she had to do was contact me to tell me that she could no longer hold the clothing and that we needed to make an appointment to trade the payment and the clothing. Instead, this business made no effort to contact me at all and simply proceeded to destroy my property. She tried to make excuses but ultimately had no excuse for making zero effort to contact me.
