Moving itself is hard enough. Having to find all your services and necessities (dry cleaner, plumber, dentist, etc etc) is equally as hard and worrying since really, you don't know how good the place is (even after reading reviews) until you actually try it. Finding a dry cleaner is especially taxing on my mind since in the past, I've struggled with cleaners that would annoyingly staple numbers to the tags of my clothes, items that would come back smelling odd, items that would come back unclean, items that wouldn't be ready for pickup on the said date and also even lost until I've questioned. With each city I've gone to, I would eventually find a solid cleaner and then hated having to change with a move. I definitely did not want to go over all of this again. My husband found Campus Cleaners for us and turned in some suits for dry cleaning. Campus Cleaners did an amazing and quick job. All items were accounted for, ready for pickup at the designated time, charged at a fair price, and nicely hung and clean. The parking is incredibly easy -- though that may not be as much as a concern in this town. The woman I spoke with was also very helpful, friendly, and genuinely nice to chat with. We will be coming here again for more dry cleaning (to probably include specific stains) and also to test out their alterations services. I'm hopeful we've found our go-to cleaners! :) read more

Very rude and unprofessional. The Asian woman who assisted me today, ignored my questions, I had to ask twice. She went to a different computer other than the one I was standing in front of and never asked me to step over. Therefore, I went over to her. I handed her my credit card for payment and she laid it down on the counter, and when I asked her for it, she pointed to where it was. I asked her next time to give it back to me in my hand as I did when I handed it to her for payment. She was visibly annoyed from the time I walked in. I will never be back. It cost me $5 to dry clean one "woman's blouse." This was my second experience here. I love Campus Cleaners for so many reasons. #1 - they do a great job cleaning my clothes, they have it ready when they say they will and they do it all with a smile. #2 - Helen will tackle alterations that I would never even touch and I have been sewing since I was 12. She put a new zipper in my daughter's down coat and repaired a rip in the fabric, not the seam, the fabric. She put in a new zipper in a sweatshirt and took in the bodice of a prom dress; both jobs that I would have just said, oh throw it out or get a padded bra! #3 - Helen is from Korea and treats my Korean born daughter like she is the most special customer she has. She also treats me that way and my husband. Wait, I think she treats all her customers that way, memorizing their phone numbers and giving them sly discounts when they pay cash. She really understands how to make you feel valued and wanted. #4 - Helen is not a native English speaker and I speak no Korean but we have communicated in ways that transcend language. Once she asked me about a sensitive topic and I burst into tears right in her shop. With her heart, her hands and some language she helped me heal and felt my pain. I've never seen a company fight so hard not to provide a service they offer. To be clear no complaints when they follow through and clean your garments. However, she fights to take days to clean your clothes even though they provide same day service. I drove 35-45 minutes to drop my clothes off at her cleaners and every time regardless if I ask for same day or next day service she's fighting for more time. Shocking since before my first trip there I explained I'm on a short timeline and would find another cleaner if she can't have a quick turnaround. Helen is an amazing seamstress. She altered several suits to fit perfectly and cleaned a number of suits, pants, and blazers in an impressively short period of time for a great price. Everything was beautifully pressed, hung, and protected with a plastic covering. I brought several hand-me-down suits that didn't fit properly for alterations. I now have 9 beautifully-fitted suits for the same cost as purchasing 2 new suits at a store and they were all cleaned and pressed to perfection. She payed meticulous attention to detail while measuring and pinning, and I later noticed she had replaced missing and broken clasps and buttons free of charge. I also dropped off my first suit, purchased 4 years ago, for cleaning. I wear the pants regularly (they've taken some abuse), so I was amazed that the suit looked better than the day I bought it when I picked it up! Helen had me try on each item that needed alterations when I brought everything in and explained what she could do, offered suggestions, and explained her limitations. She warned me when items would be more difficult, time consuming, or costly and explained why, so I could decided whether or not it was worth it to me. For instance, she explained that the inner lining on one of my blazers was smaller than the blazer itself and that's why the inner lining was tearing at the seams. She explained that she could repair the torn seams, but they would eventually tear again because the lining was too small compared to the blazer. She said the only way to stop it from happening again was to replace the lining. Given that it was a bargain buy, we agreed that it was time to retire the blazer. I will definitely be bringing my clothes here for any alteration and cleaning needs in the future. read more

Helen did a beautiful job on a variety of alterations, in a timely fashion, at a reasonable price with a smile. She shortened the sleeves on a simulated leather jacket, a blazer, a multi-season fluffy microfiber jacket, a ripstop nylon spring/summer rain slicker, hemmed a pair of yoga pants and tacked down a jacket lapel that had a mind of its own. Absolutely the rudest business person I've ever run across. I've been in this place before, and she was always rude, but today topped it! I had 6 pairs of shorts I needed shortened ($20 each) and then dry cleaned ($4 or so each, to total $144). She would not let me try the shorts on: she just wanted to know how short I wanted them. Terrible and extremely unprofessional business. My daughter went in with some items for alterations and when my daughter politely said she wasn't going to have one of the items altered the business owner started to remove the pins from the other item and when I said she was still doing the alterations on that item the women said she not doing it and refused our business. No explanation no reason other than she wasn't going to get more money because she was going to charge my daughter more in alterations than the dress she bought, it would be less expensive for my daughter to purchase another dress. Also the woman took her face mask off as well as had other people come into the business without a face covering when there are signs posted that they are required. I have used this dry cleaners twice and it was fine the first time. On the second visit, I found a brownish stain on one of my dress shirts. It did not have a stain when I dropped it off and I'm certain it came from the cleaners since it was still in the plastic when I saw it. When I brought it back and showed it to the employee at the counter, she kept repeating "we did not make this stain". I was not asking for a refund or a discount, I just wanted to bring it to their attention so it would not happen again. Yikes, I'm a new customer and went to pick up my alterations today. I asked if they take the SIAM card, and was told yes... but only on incoming orders. I asked what is an "incoming order" is. She said you have to tell us you have the SIAM card when you bring in your clothes. So I asked if they would take it today, I'm a new client and not familiar with them... I take 5 shirts in a week for cleaning at my cleaners, she said NO. I said you'd rather lose a new customer than honor a $ 2.00 discount.... she again said no. I said I won't be back and good luck with your crappy little business! She just laughed. Their loss! Maybe they are good, but if not willing to work with me tells me they will be difficult in the future. I do not recommend Campus Cleaners and will tell everyone I know not to do business with them.
