They also offer hot mat Pilates, which is a great option when you want a break from yoga, and their Sweat + Sculpt classes are a real workout -- I don't even need to go to a regular gym on those days. I walk out looking like I showered in my yoga clothes, which is exactly what I'm going for. At the end of class, instructors bring around a cold washcloth scented with lavender or other essential oils -- it feels like heaven. I was very intimidated coming in to try reformer, so I opted for the free 30-minute intro class to see if it was something I'd enjoy doing. As someone who's never really enjoyed working out, I was surprised how much fun I had, and I think the staff made all the difference. Each instructor and desk worker are so, so kind and attentive, and the studio is always cozy and clean. Pilates can be expensive, but it's SO worth it in my opinion! (Plus, there's a discount for healthcare workers and other ways to save based on your subscription tier). I've only been coming for a few months, but I already notice a difference in my strength, balance, and overall physique after only coming 6-8 times a month. We love Club Pilates Parkville!
